Never order from WICKES!! Ordered my bathroom 4 months ago. Arranged at the time for it to be delivered tomorrow. Called today just for peace of mind to check all ok for tomorrow. To be told 'sorry we no longer stock your bath etc you ordered so some of your items won't be delivered tomorrow or ever for that fact, as we no longer produce them' WTAF!!! Happy to take my £5000 though, and keep it for how many months! Also happy to only tell me of this when I CALLED them!! Not to mention the stress it took to organise a plumber/tiler/kids out of the house/time off work to enable this all. Seriously FUMING 😤 Never going near wickes again! BASTARDS!

I bought a kitchen from the Huntingdon branch, the kitchen is lovely. Beware the customer service is disgusting. The measurements were wrong, and trying to make telephone contact with the kitchen designer was a nightmare, totally ignored phone messages , which we have all on record. I had to get in my car three times to sort deliveries out with her. Only to be told by the manager to get some of my products from Benchmark because the kitchen designer had not ordered items and I was paying a kitchen fitter to fetch and carry items, which cost me excess money. Then the fun began to try and get my refunds, which in the end the Hitachi finance sorted out as I paid in full but mentioned to them the problem I was having getting my refund. It has been an absolute nightmare and I have moved several times and had kitchens fitted so I am not a novice! The product is lovely but go to Benchmark do not deal with Wickes I never got a proper apology or compensation for my extra cost due to the irresponsible kitchen designer at Huntingdon. The manager there did say sorry when I asked to see him to complain, but this lady still works there so beware. The first comment she made when we first spoke to her in the showroom was men try to intimidate her as she is a young female, which I found odd at the time, to say that. I know why now after what I have experienced, she needs more training on how to treat customers and how to answer phone messages!! My advise get your own designer if buying from wickes, but I like I said earlier the product looks lovely.

We went to store twice to return a shower head that despite the packaging stating it was compatible with a pump wasn't! but my complaint is about the unhelpful and indifferent attitude of the staff. Maybe Wicks need to retrain some members in customer service and or employ people that actually want to work there. I have worked in retail and I know it is not an easy job but I was never borderline rude to any customer!

Click and collect service worked a treat. Staff omitted to give me a receipt, - is why I give 4 out of 5, otherwise everything ok.

1. Delivery of ballast arrived and could only be dumped at the entrance due to old style lorries. Vince from Nyes whips in and out with his rear steering wagon in 10 mins. AND ALWAYS CHEERFUL. 2. Out of cement on one visit a few months ago. 3. Out of lightweight blocks this morning. This used to be a decent builder's merchant, alas no longer.

They own Toolstation. So why is Wickes so much worse? Why so much more expensive? Explain this? RIP off? And unhelpful staff.

Placed an order for Kiln dried logs on line..It was only on viewing the confirmation email I saw they had overcharged me by £44.97.. Spoke to their customer service dept. nice lady called Nicola agreed they had made a mistake and would get a manager to refund me the overcharge. The manager said he would arrange a voucher for me to spend at a wickes store of my choice.!! Come on customer care. Is that even legal.?

Made a order online then never received a confirmation so when I enquired about my order they said they had IT problems and would get back to me ? This never happened and I am now on day 3 after numerous calls and requests to speak to a manager ignored ! All I am told is it is being dealt with ? When I asked to reorder they said I was to pay again ! A refund would take up to 7 days and I have a builder expecting to start in 4 days !!!! I would never use them again

Some 3 weeks ago, we made an appointment to see Adam, a kitchen designer, today at 11.00am. We arrived early (10.45am) and were asked if would mind waiting in the kitchen display area for a few minutes, until Adam arrived. This was not an issue, so, we spent the time wandering the store looking primarily at the worktop, always the most difficult part of the operation. We saw Adam arrive, a couple of minutes after 11.00am By 11.10am, we were still waiting The design suite was empty, as it had been since just before 11.00am. Not one member of staff had taken the initiative and approached us to find out what we were wanting. We were just studiously ignored We left. Our business will go elsewhere.

Everything went wrong.Wickes must have the worst fitters out there.less than a week after fitted my kitchen started falling apart literally.now I fear for my life as basic screws are coming out.nearly all doors are damaged because the fitter does not know to screw the handles without damaging the doors.the doors are not closing .the hinges are coming of.well ,the pictures say it all.those parts that are holding are fitted to a bad 19th century standard. I wished I never heard of Wickes

Easy to navigate site. Lots of reviews about the products - both good & bad, so able to make 'informed' choices of products & materials. 'Click & collect' or 'Home delivery' available (good for heavy stuff)

Had a wicks kitchen fitted 4weeks ago excellent from beginning to end . Victoria the designer certainly knows her job we talked every thing through until I was happy with everything gave me a date when kitchen would be delivered . Arrived on time two delivery men they worked so hard bringing everything in amazing . Ben did the kitchen fit he was excellent hard working left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day ,nothing was to much for him . If you are looking for a new kitchen in Southampton go to wicks . Victoria is fantastic kitchen designer and Ben amazing kitchen fitter . Thank you both very much.

After 3 months of trying to get all the problems with our Wickes kitchen sorted out we were promised a fitter today to finish the snags in our kitchen. I had this confirmed and we emptied the relevant cupboards and left the day free. We awaited the fitter who was due to arrive at 9am. By 10.30 no one had arrived and we then had a phone call from an installation manager who had been contacted by the person who told me a fitter was coming, I presume to ask how things were going. This man knew nothing about it. No fitter came. My husband tried to fit a shelf liner himself but that was the wrong size. We have wasted a day and now have to put everything back in the cupboard and we are back to square one. What else can go wrong with this kitchen. Again i warn everyone to steer clear of a Wickes kitchen. I am awaiting a phone call to tell me what is happening next!!!

Wickes in hanwell are short of staff but do help as much as they can..in some situations they have their hands tied and cant do as much as they would like to - consider them struggling but they try.
