“The service has been exemplary from Woolroom. The items are very attractively packaged too and the quality is not in question as it is VERY good. I ordered the luxury, alpaca mattress toppers which have been on the beds now for two days and they feel really good....not too hot or cool and nice and comfy. I ordered the superking duvet cover and the fabric is beautiful but the size is more than adequate for our duvet and hangs down empty for about 6 inches either side. This is probably not the fault of Woolroom: the sizes king, superking and emperor seem to vary quite a bit from brand to brand. We have two single 3ft. beds, joined together and have what is labelled a superking goosedown duvet which has been an adequate size. I may eventually buy an alpaca duvet but then none of my existing linen would fit it, causing further expense. Maybe I am just confused! I will be watching out for future good sale offers and studying the details carefully. I also ordered the luxury kingsize alpaca pillows but they seemed too firm. When I enquired about exchanging them I was told that there was little difference (700 grams instead of 900 grams). Therefore, I have sent them back for a refund which was disappointing especially as we are just retiring from a lifetime of sheep farming and we fully appreciate the virtues of wool ((but have been paid very little for the product in recent years)! However, having since thought about it, maybe 200 grams difference is not the whole story; perhaps it is 200g per particular volume? That seems more logical to me in retrospect. Well, despite the great convenience of on-line shopping, these can be the problems involved in not seeing before buying but the returns service is excellent and easy. I was able to send back from my local, small Sainsbury's store where the staff were very helpful and it was so convenient and also free. Thank you Woolroom. S.M. Wiltshire Downs.”

“Love this pillow! Would buy another and definitely recommend. Only reason I have it a 4 STAR, not 5 was because it had a mild plastic smell left over from the shipping bag.”

“I love our new wool duvet-we purchased the warm (14 tog equiv) although my partner who is always cold claims it's not as warm as the down equiv, i much prefer the way it hugs your body. Keeps me warm but i don't overheat as i used to do with the down.”

“Great service from ordering to receiving my WONDERFUL wool duvet. I tend to get very hot at night, but from the very first night i have slept through without being woken in a pool of sweat. Would highly recommend Woolroom!!!”

“Well packaged item that arrived on time. Ordered a alpaca wool topper. The topper is well constructed and has a nice depth. It's gives a very good comfort layer and helps regulate your temperature. Only downside is, now that I use multiple wool products I do get some strange dreams!”

“Absolutely adore this product for our little boy. Just upgrading from the cot to cot bed size as lightweight warm and safe products. You can even wash it which is handy. As a bonus it is well presented and comes in a handy bag to take away when we travel.”

“I have ordered twice from woolroom, first time 2 mattresses - to West of Ireland - I was unable to place the order online so I called them, full details and transaction done over the phone, took less than 5 mins, they charged me GBP 12 to deliver the 2 mattresses from UK to ROI, and I received them in 3 days. It costs me more and takes longer if I order within Ireland. Extremely happy customer. Second time placed the order online in the morning then being unsure of sizes I contacted their online chat, based on the discussion I decided to change my order and called them to cancel one and place the other. Good thing too, they were ready to dispatch the first one - a few hours after placing the order - received my correct order 4 days later. They are nice, fast, efficient, the best company I have ever dealt with online or face to face. Would very highly recommend.”

“I ordered 3 items on 30th Jan, it is now 7th Feb. I have received 2 items but the main one - the mattress - is not in stock so I have not got it yet. I did a live chat before ordering and was told that the mattress was due in within 2 days but once I placed my order it was suddenly then not due in again for 2 or 3 weeks. So I am still waiting with no delivery day or even an e mail to say when it is expected. Oddly, my account shows that all items have been delivered, perhaps this is why I received the email for feedback. ...”

“I purchased a wool duvet about a fortnight ago, and it's probably one of the best things I've ever done. I went for the super warm....it took about 3 nights to get used to the change of my old 'tatty' duvet, but now it's so wonderful. It envelopes round you like no other type can do, and I found it to be just the right weight, it's heaven. I'll probably be purchasing another for the summer months.”

“Deluxe King Size duvet. Website said due in soon so I rang for clarification and was told should arrive within a week, it arrived in 4 days was well impressed. Added benefit as we both work could use a pick up point (chose Curry’s as nearby) rather than have the worry of not being in for delivery. Was scepticle at first over the cost v benefits as I get really hot in general, but I have found this keep me warm without overheating. My wife said it’s kept her warm the best she has slept for a long time as she feels the cold complete opposite to me. So very pleased with service and product.”

“Well you would like a review? ok here is your review. I'm very disappointed with the fact that was luck of information about the product that I both. It was a wool blanket, with a nice picture which showed a puffy nice wool blanket, original, natural sheep wool. But under the description it didn't say the thinness of the blanket. I got it and was very surprised seeing how thin it was, not even a thinness of a regular simple blanket. definitely I was going to return the merchandise because it was beyond my expectations and very expensive $182.00. But another disappointment I have to pay for the return shipment, apparently if it comes from UK there is no return shipment label for free, ok I paid $71.20 for return, can you believe it? so don't order any more from UK, don't order specially this blanket, I lost that shipment money and I don't know if I will get a refund for the remaining? this is not fair, it is not my fault that you didn't properly describe the merchandise, ok at list you could provide the refund label. I'm giving two stars because the shipment process was excellent. Of course................ in addition: to UK you can not send it with regular shipment it has to be priority mail. now I know, and I want you to know too.”

Hi Agavni, Thank you for your review. We have discussed this with you via email but just to make it clear,there would have been a returns label in the paperwork received to return it back to the NJ depot which yes, you will have to pay for but then it will be returned to us in the UK from there. I can understand your frustration but we did try to help with everything from the start and we were in constant contact with you. Thanks Sally
