“Service was less good than previously and communication could have been better. I ordered two items which were sent separately and the first arrived before I’d received an email about my items having been dispatched. That email arrived several days later when the second item was on its way. It was just a bit confusing and I needed to log in to work out what was going on.”

“I have used you on many occasions recently and have always been most impressed by your service and the speed at which the book has arrived by ROYAL MAIL. However, recently I ordered two books within a few days of each other. The SECOND book ordered arrived, as usual, promptly by Royal Mail but the first book ordered arrived later (by courier) and was damaged.”

“I received my book quickly, however, the cardboard packaging that was supposed to protect the book was badly damaged in one corner, as well as the hardback book cover. Very disappointing!”

“If I'd known you use Hermes to deliver your books I wouldn't have ordered I'm afraid. Didn't you use to use Royal Mail? I realise they charge more but their delivery times are quick and accurate. Hermes sent an email at 10.15am to say they'll deliver between 9..30 & 11.30am on two occasions. Sorry, won't order from you again. Ordered on 30th July and not received until today.”

“Nice to see Wordery available again for international buyers after one year and a half hiatus. I waited to find books cheaper than on other websites before ordering these. There was no problem with the delivery itself, however the packaging was as poor as it was before. Each book had a packaging for itself, the one delivered in a cardboard book case was okay, but the other two in plastic bubble envelopes were a bit damaged with creases in the corners.”

“The book was intended as a gift however the courier delivered the package while we were out at short notice and left it in a pool of water Hence the book was soaked (see pictures) I complained to whistl but they did not respond”

“To my surprise my last order consisting of graphic novels, which are considered collectibles, arrived damaged in a thin plastic envelope. I consider wordery as an alternative to amazon and bookdepository. The advantage of bookdepository over wordery is a superior selection of foreign language books and shipping in sturdy packages, while wordery's advantage is often price. Wordery used to ship in sturdy cardboard packages but now that thin plastic envelopes are used, I will need to weigh price advantage against the possibility of receiving damaged merchandise.”

“Very delayed. Customer service was efficient (via email) and said the first package must have been lost (dubious that it was ever sent). Books were good when they eventually arrived.”

“One of the books I ordered had some slight damage on the hardback and dust jacket. I specifically ordered somewhere other than Amazon because their packages always arrive damaged. So that was quite disappointing.”
