some question were not clear, and on other company courses your right answers would have been wrong.

Information is good. It is just too slow. You have to keep clicking the next button almost every minute for 6-8hrs which I think is unneccessary. Should be one single video for each module.

The location was not easy to find. The classroom was adequate in size but not for the practical exercises. A single washroom within the classroom for all 18 students was inadequate and inappropriate. The course material was comprehensive. Maybe overload for 1st time students and those recent to Canada, and of limited English skills. The instructor managed that well I think. Not being able to take home the course booklet was weak, regardless of what the student does with it afterwards. I keep mine until the next time I have to rake a course. Good interaction discussions.

The course was fine, but I lost my progress in Module 9, so I had to redo it all.

The course itself was good but the final test was inconsistant with questions and correct answers. And there was no method to determine what the corrct answer was...so I fluked into a passing grade without knowing what was correct.

About 6 or 7 exam questions exhibited ambiguity phrasing open to misinterpretation.

A good course the "Asbestos Awareness" but it is of course just that 'Awareness'. Great introduction to the types of asbestos and the general products they are found in, which is more that I knew before hand. If in addition to the raw form and scientific name more specific examples and photos of those products were given, (trade marks be damned than peoples well being) It would be much more effective in teaching people to identify asbestos. Unless we are required to pay for another course called "Asbestos identification" i don't believe it'd be unreasonable to ask that they be together in the same course. Un-answered question however, if a owner/employer who knows or aught to know ACM (asbestos containing material) has been or may have been used in their building, is to then test samples of drywall, ceiling tile, vent works ect. What oversight from Workplace Health and Safety is in place to then see that those samples are in fact from the building that the owner or employer says they are and that they are delivered untampered with. Other than a simple "honor system" in which many would be willing to dishonor themselves for the sake of their greed and at the detriment of those working under them. Seems like a no brainer to have that kind of regulation in place, since asbestos exposure seems to be a death sentence in summary. My employer wasn't able to answer this question as he too would like to know the answer. Perhaps I was not properly informed. Thank you reading this far I hope it doesn't fall upon deaf ears. Have a great day whom ever you are where ever you are.
