“I have been using Molly Maids for about 2 years and have had a few complains about the cleaning so communicated through the Ellis county office and they switched up the teams. I had an issue and called to let them know they were not moving my lamps and I found a pile of dust under them… after they came out and cleaned they called to cancel my service with me that the cleaning ladies didn’t feel they could clean the way I wanted them too… I was very surprised and very disappointed that a company like this can not have conversations with employees about doing the right thing and cleaning as they were hired to do..”
“Wrote a great review last year, but the quality of service has declined and the prices have gone up. Initially, the team we had was great, but they quit and moved on. After that they sent different teams in, whose mission was to get done as quickly as possible. Our main complaint was we wanted service every 3 weeks and that was not possible. It was either every 2 weeks or every 4 weeks. Every 2 weeks didn't work for us as it was too expensive and the house wasn't that dirty and every 4 weeks was too long. They just tried to increase our price by 10% which is too much for this cleaning. We will move on in search of quality cleaning, at a reasonable price on our schedule.....

“I don't understand this company. They give you a price over the phone without ever coming to see your house. The initial cleaning price is an hourly price based on the amount of hours it takes (which is a minimum of 2) and then the following price is fixed based on number of rooms and floors. Hard to imagine you can get a good sense of things without seeing the house first but what do I know?”
“Refrigerator, TV stand, counter tops not cleaned, mirrors smeared, door glass streaked, shower door not cleaned properly and dusting was minimal. I had to clean again when they left. From now on, I will do my own cleaning since I have to anyway. Save myself money and frustration. They came 3 times; only once did we get a decent clean. Obvious dust left on furniture. Would never recommend this company.”
“I will not hire them again. First experience was pretty awkward and frustrating. Had two ladies come do a one time deep clean. After just over 2 hrs we had to call management as soon as they left because we checked and there was so much all over that still was dirty. The cleaning tools used didn’t seem like they were in good condition or very useful. The office person was not very professional when we called to complain. We have hired an individual once before to clean our home and we will do that again since this was an awful experience. This company has too many restrictions on what their cleaners can and can not due it seems. Also the price is way too high for the quality . What an overall disappointment.”
“The girls that came were very nice but inefficient and very young. They seemed inexperienced. It took two hours to vacuum three bedrooms a hallway and clean two bathrooms. They rubbed off some of the finish on the foot of my bed wiping it down, and they claimed to have cleaned the game room while the large wall vent for the ac unit was untouched and incredibly dusty and there was no mopping done, baseboards were still covered in marks and no adjustments to the furniture took place to indicate they were moved for sweeping. Very disappointed. I was told I would receive a call by a manager the following Monday to discuss a discount foe my displeasure. Instead I just noticed the charge to my account in full without so much as a follow up call. Definitely regret not choosing another co and will not be back.”
“Very bad service and scheduling. First office manager rescheduled 3 times just to give quote. Then they changed actual cleaning appointment without informing me. Finally, did not show up between the new window. Don’t trust this company and I will never use them.”
“Good for the last two years, but something has changed. Two months ago there was a mixup with the cleaning appointment. The cleaners came at the wrong time, several hours early. They could not be let in at that time. They left, not to return that day. The following day, unannounced, one cleaner returned to clean. Unfortunately, the house was totally unavailable. The cleaner left. Since then we have called the local manager, usually a professional and reliable person, to discuss the issue. After three attempts over the last several weeks to reach the manager we have had no call back to our left messages. We have no idea if there is a business problem or if for some obscure reason they no longer want us as customers. Either way, we are currently seeking another cleaning service. Failing to hear from them in the next two weeks, they will have permanently lost us as their customer.”
“Took two of them only 40 minutes to clean my whole house. Lots of things missed. The same marks on work tops and floor have been there since Christmas. Enough said. They are very good at cleaning the things that are easy to see. Just don’t look closer. Do not recommend.”
