“The style and fit of the EXACT. SAME. JEAN. ordered a year apart, fit differently. When I looked at tag in pant, the pair I already have and that fit great AND that I bought in store, it said made in Bangladesh. The new ones I ordered have a tag that says made in China. Each manufacturer should be using the same specifications for each piece of clothing! Terrible product management. I’m so disappointed bc AE has been the only jean that fit me right and are flattering on me. I hope you listen to your reviews and make adjustments...”

“After placing an order for a bday present and it went threw, charged and passed 3days, the day before arrival they cancel the order Sending an impersonal unjustified email. Poor CS. Now I have to run to get another present. This gave you an idea of their supply and chain. They don't have a clue...”

“Refunds! Ordered on line and the money came out of my account. The order was cancelled as one store didn't carry all items and wouldn't do 2 shipments and on day 4 still no refund tom account. Called and was told 10 day hold on funds that shouldnt have been taken out in the first place as shipment wasn't processed.”

“I ordered 3 items, first of all they split up my delivery into multiple packages, and then they changed my delivery date 3 times! they kept pushing the day back and i was left waiting. was not impressed”

“I was looking at sale items online, and the sale was on-going, but when I went to add the item into my cart, it showed the regular price. Then I attempted to chat, and was on hold for an hours. This is a 1 star hate review, because I won't shop there again. And I've been shopping their for years.”

“Am I the only one who notices that EVERY TIME they have a sale that they have no jeans available online,in ANY sizes !! The other day I received an email 30% off,I immediately went on the app and no sizes available. Today I received another email saying if you buy 2 pairs the second pair is 50% off,I again went to the app to order and as always NO jeans available in ANY size. But if you check back after the sale is over,they immediately have every size available !!!! I don’t think this is a coincidence !!”

“BUYER BEWARE CHEAP PRODUCTS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Have experienced tje most unhelpful customer service with returning online. I had a package stolen one time and now they claim they can never help me regardless of the issue. Will not be shopping here anymore.”

“I tried ordering a gift card on line and system would not let me order. I called customer service, ordered the card, told all was ok, then got email order was canceled as my address didn't match bank address. I called bank and It was the same. No one at AE would take ownership of the problem which was their system. Said I would have to wait 24-48 hours for them to find problem. I cancelled the order and went to Amazon. No problem there. Amazon is big but has good customer service.”

“The customer service providers are extremely unprofessional. I had just called them to help with my order they told me my total was 80 when it was really 50 and Then they said just kidding... ? Extremely disappointed and they couldn’t even help with my problem”

“So, last July I went to a store to buy some of my absolute favourite jeans. And I was so disappointed to find that they are now ON LINE ONLY!!!! Why????? Ugh. Anyways. I was nervous about buying online and having to send them back if they didn’t fit. But.....The online option offered me a promo code. Free shipping and a heavy discount. I got two pairs for 40$ of my fave jeans! Skinny Kick! when they arrived I was so happy! They fit like a glove! Although it worked out really well in the end. I do wish A.E would bring these back to the store. From the reviews on the app they’re popular enough. Most of us who know about skinny kick. Are forever hooked on these jeans. Everyone needs their perfect jean. And A.E needs to bring these backs to stores.”

“I have been shopping at American Eagle/Aerie for quite a while and I think it’s save to say that I’m obsessed! I have never had any issues with customer service in stores. The employees have always been super nice and very helpful. American Eagle/Aerie always has great sales and deals that make the price a bit more bearable. But honestly, I don’t even mind spending the money because I know that the clothes are great! Every time I order online, the shipment comes within 5 days at most. The only time it’s ever been longer is when they didn’t have the item in stock and I had to wait a few more days for it to get restocked. They returns have always been easy from my experiences. I always go to the store for returns, just because that’s what’s easier for me to do. The employees have always been super helpful and they get it done fairly quickly. I usually either exchange or get store credit on my returns. It’s all been super easy from what i’ve experienced. I buy most of my clothes from American Eagle because they always have styles that are in trend and that I love. The clothing itself is very durable and doesn’t feel cheaply made, like some other brands I’ve tried. I’ve never had any experience with clothing getting discolored or ripped or anything like that. The clothes always fit really well. Other than the one time that I bought a pair of mom shorts in my usual size and they felt a couple sizes too small. That is the only bad sizing experience I have had with them. However, the return was super easy. I would say always read other peoples reviews on the items before buying. I buy all my jeans from there and they are my absolute favorite jeans that I’ve ever purchased! It’s always been difficult for me to find jeans that fit because I have a smaller waist, thick hips and thighs, and long legs. For reference, I can fit a size 12/14 in the waist comfortably, but for my hips and thighs to be comfortable, I would go a size 16/18. I love the super stretch jeggings. They are stretchy enough that I can get a size that’s comfortable in the waist and my hips and thighs won’t suffocate. I usually order them in long if they have them in stock because they are the perfect length for me. They also have a good size range compared to some of the other stores I’ve been to. They always have adorable tops! I feel like every time I go in there, I find a bunch of tops that I adore! I’ve never had any issues with their tops or their dresses either. I would recommend checking the size charts if you’ve never shopped there before because different brands have different sizing. But overall, I would recommend shopping at American Eagle/Aerie to anyone. It is definitely worth checking out!”

“Ordered high waisted flare and am a UK 12. Bought the US 10 and the quality, as always, is excellent. Not just for the price but compared to any jean. My old pair are AE and I had them for about 6 years before they showed signs of wear and tear. The new ones are immensely flattering, fit beautifully and fall well. I find it exceedingly difficult to find jeans that are slimming for the curvier figure and I don't think I could be happier than with these jeans.”

“From Julie Escott and my Dad Danny Thompson...I'm a 43 year old stay at home mom of twins...when I was younger loved American Eagle, style and fit. My husband works, I stay at home (hardest...and most rewarding job😘) We don't buy clothes for ourselves much anymore, spend our money on them (they make us beautiful now.😘) My old school parents came to spend the week with the girls this week, My dad offered a gift card to buy some sweatpants clothes... went to American Eagle, picked out some comfy sweats and shirts, entered in the gift card...web site had problems. Called the number...while putting the girls to bed, thinking this is too much trouble, I'll buy something elsewhere, the customer service guy was so awesome, still didn't go through, got the number so my Dad could call back with a regular credit card, he called, he said she was awesome about the customer service lady he talked to, got it done (he's almost 70 and old school 😘) Love guys... your customer service people rocked it out. Love your clothes and fit, this Mamma is excited to keep on wearing your clothes at 43 and for them to come in the mail in a few days!🙌🙌🙌💖💖💖”

“I’ve shopped here since I was a teen. They have always had great quality and was a go to because I’m tall and they were very accommodating to my size. Fast forward to the last two years. I have really been dissatisfied with the quality of the clothing, and the sizes! EVERY.SINGLE. Shirt I buy winds up being a crop top. On the model these shirts come down past the zipper of the jeans, almost to the crotch. When I get my shirt, however, it looks NOTHING like what I saw. I understand body types are different, but if the model pictured is my height and body type what’s the excuse?! Not everyone wants to wear crop tops! I don’t know why I keep going back and wasting the money. Honestly I’m deleting the app and never shopping here again. I have wasted probably about 600$ in the last year on clothes I’ll never wear. Maybe I’ll find a dwarf to sell them to. Or maybe a toddler 🤷🏻‍♀️ #done”

“I love this store. The clothes are so so cute at amazing prices. There very size inclusive. I am generally tall and have very long legs so being able to get talls is a life saver. Over all 10/10 recommend this brand”
