“DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. I ordered two sofa's on 22/03/15. The day they were due to be delivered I received a phone call saying that both sofa's were damaged. My husband telephoned ASDA to express our disappointment, they were very unhelpful. They did say they would phone us back within 24 hours to discuss the matter, they failed to do so. I have complained via the website several times, all I have had in return is two nonsensical voice mails (despite me requesting a written response). I received a second email on 18/05/15 saying my order has been dispatched, when I telephoned to ask when the delivery date is I was told 21/05/15, I informed the assistant that this is impossible as the date has already passed. He checked again and said 21- 29th May, I said again this is incorrect, I should have a delivery date, not a delivery week.He attempted to contact the couriers as he could not figure it out, he was unsuccessful. He has taken my number but informed me that he will not be in contact in at least 24 hours. THIS IS APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE!”
“Just had a delivery from ASDA. I've ordered and had deliveries previously where they bring the groceries up one flight of stairs. This time the driver very aggressively told me he's not coming up the stairs and either I come down and get my groceries or he takes it back. Then proceeds to argue and shout at me in front my building and cursed me too! Told me it didn't matter if I had his name which he refused go give me the last name and that I could take down his license plate number that ASDA won't do anything. That says a lot about that company and I will not ever shop from them again!”
“I bought Asda's own 'comfort dry' nappys and they are rubbish! Not comfortable at all they've left marks around my baby's legs. my baby was in his nappy for 4 hrs and the nappy exploded and the bits inside leaked all over him! I'm sure a nappy is meant to last more then 4 hrs specially if your baby sleeps through! Several occasions now my baby's woken up because the nappy soaked through on to clothes after a short period wearing them. Wouldn't reconmend these to anyone! rubbish fit, uncomfortable and far from 'dry'!”
“Queens road asda is disgusting horrible unhelpful ignorant staff stood queing for 10minutes as I needed something from the counter and the women behind the desk was serving someone and didnt think to ask any off the staff what was watching the self service tills to help with the Wye, disgusting”
“Rubbish company that really don't care about its customers. They only care about sales. I left a message for the store manager to call me and it's been 2 weeks and no call. They are a disgrace to Walmart and a disgrace in retail. I can't believe they treat their customers like this.”
“2 weeks ago got food poisoning from cooked chicken partner and I very ill asda do not want to know do not buy the chiken it could kill you and they do not care I am not the sort of person to write reviews but be aware asda do not care for customers”
“customer service must alien for ASDA, holding A list then put listed items into shopping bag, it's a job tooo brainy for most of them, because they manage to get wrong all the time.”
“I brought a product for my daughter as a Christmas present she was very upset to find the toy was not working. I paid in self checkout and I had to wait approximately 15 minutes to get staff assistance . This is a disgrace!”
“Shocking customer service in Asda. Staff members do not care for my problems. When I ask them for help they say they are too busy when its their job to help!!!”
“Asda Cumbernauld is the worst supermarket I've ever come across. Mainly due to the treatment of customers but also lack of basic stock on many occasions.Customers seem to be an inconvenience. Especially if you shop after 10pm at night I understand they have to re stock but I don't understand why they bother staying opened when it obviously infuriates the staff. I gave it a last Chance this week. Went to pick up packs of Diet Coke cans and there was a young guy putting stock out. He had unfortunately put the large stock container across aisle which meant Customers couldn't get past. I politely asked if I could get passed to reach the cans of coke. He sighed, gave me a look that let me know how annoying I was and Reluctantly moved it. No sorry, no 'of course its no problem' nothing! Don't open if you don't want customers!! We pay the same amount of money as customers who shop during the day.
The Saturday before, again staff chatting to one another and swearing loud enough that I and my child could hear it. Also watched a man complain to customer service about attitude of some of the younger staff at drinks section. She was at best civil to him but after the man walked away another staff member at customer service asked what was wrong. They both then rolled their eyes after she told her 'He was moaning about staff'
Well that's me I'm done!! I have never in my 46 years came across a shop (especially a big concern like Asda/Walmart) who treat there customers with such disdain. Must be great working there mind you. The self service girl who came to confirm age ID for me other night was eating a sausage roll and couldn't really speak as her mouth was full. She then informed me that she'd come back and pass it for me when I had finished shopping. She wasn't busy there was no one else waiting on her so I asked her why she couldn't just do it while she was here. She had no answer and reluctantly done what was needed to let me finish and get home. Trying to get hold of them between chats with other staff members is bloody hard enough so there's no way I was letting her go. Don't bother phoning Asda house to complain because they make all the right noises but nothing changes. Tesco obviously take staff training seriously. I'm
starting to wonder if Asda actually train their staff at all.”
