“@asda (Lewisham ) has soiled duva items (bodily fluids) on their shelves in their packaging which also wasn't even one of their brands it's was a Sainsbury's duvet in their packaging. When i complained and asked for a refund or exchange, they'll loudly acused me of doing it in front of other customers and staff! That I had done this! That i am lieing! And this mistake can't possibly of happened so i must of done it!
They want to use the fact that I ended up getting extremely upset for not getting my exchange after it was cancelled in front of me and bluntly accused of theft by swapping my own apparently duvet for a new one which then caused me to start shouting in the shop as an excuse not to investigate especially when I had asked the manager still refused to investigate. The store manager want to make accusations and take my statutory right for an investigation.
I am the one who had one manager saying well this has never happened before so this can't be true as if first time mistake can't happen and I'm just a liar and the other male manager showing no kindness what so ever saying this is not possible you must of went home and swapped duva I'm not giving you the exchange he had immediate judgement on me did not like to listen to my story he had already believed in his head was true and yet I'm supposed to stay calm
They also just allowed the staff members to continuously make comments "she definitely did it" while also given me dirty looks they all loudly making assumptions the managers also allowed their staff members continuously gather around when I was having this conversation with them and allowed that 10 of the staff members to all gathered at the exit as I'm walking out the store and allowed one of their staff members to make a sarcastic comment as I walked out as well I cannot explain how this happened I can only tell you my story which is simple i picked the product off their store shelves and that's the duva that came out! at the end of the day the customers only has their word and they refuse to listen to mine they showed me no kindness or consideration it's also upsetting that I am a regular customer in their store most of their staff members have seen me I am a regular I live in the area and (@asda Lewisham) was my local supermarket so to get this judgement and treatment from them was very unexpected and very hurtful. I then began my own self investigation and called customer service and asked for it to be done a member of customer service then told me I need to go back to the store and ask them for a CPQC check inwhich i was still refused by the male store manager. During that seconded visit to the store a third party was present and she had then accused him of being a racist for not offering to investigate all the exchange I was then told by customer service that the manager is using that reason the comment from a third person as excuse to not do the investigations I found that to be very double standard and i am the one he is accused of being a dirty person and a theif and not offered an investigation or refund but when the managers accused of being a racist and this is how he reacts. @asdacustomerservice don't actually offer a service nor take responsibility for the behaviour of the staff in their stores. Called to complain about how I was treated and was told I needed to go back to the store to ask them to investigate. #selfinvestigation #fail #asdapolicingthemselves and after I had attempted myself investigation the only email I got back was I was banned from the store based on the racist remark done by a third party and abusive remarks( e.g. me getting upset and shouting in the store) and that head office nor the store would offer me a refund. Disgusting customer service! no loyalty to the regular customers! Petty behaviour! @asda can make false accusations all round and now i can't go back. Who wants to shop in a store where YOU are abused and assaulted and then get accused of something you didn't do #falseaccusations #imnotaracist #liars”
“I have been a loyal customer for years but I read my emails today and yet again I have been let down by Filton store I ordered diced turkey and they are sending turkey mince you can not have mince in a casserole I keep sending it back and doing feedback and reviews and nothing happens the substitutes from Filton store are getting worse or lots of items out of stock I am a carer and no one can drive in our house for medical reasons and we have no transport or family support to help us”
“Norwich- Been using Asda for a few years now but started using them less as could never get a delivery slot to suit so started shopping at Morrisons. I started using Asda again as I was getting a bit tired of having to go in store to Morrison. Well I placed an online order and delivery was beetween 3pm and 5pm. By 6.30pm I had still not received my delivery so I called their call center as it showed on the tracking it was still out for delivery but I sensed a problem as they have never been late. The woman on the phone told me that the driver could not find my house and cancelled my order, no call, nothing, I have the easiest house to find and they have delivered to me a few years now. The drivers would even call me to let me know if they were early or late, this chap just decided not to bother. Called the call center and demanded to speak to a human who was going to solve this problem as the woman told me to re order...um I think not. After a long debate a man came to the phone and said that he would send a new driver that same evening which was now 9pm, they did has they said..But the second driver looked hacked off because his shift ended and now he had to clean up his colleages mess. I then unpack my order to find one item missing but paid for and a empty sealed box of ice-cream cones.. yes I kid you not. And a item I never ordered. Moral of the story, Asda Im a customer and you will solve my problem that you caused even if I have to go to the directors home in my pj's and make him deliver my goods. Sadly you never offerd any compensation for your stuff up but at least you delivered my goods. Ill just have to use less of Asda and more of Morrisons.”
“First on line order never again. Delivery booked 5-7pm texted at 6.15 to say order on way. 8.20 no sign. According to Asda customer service Drivers not tracked (god help them if they were in trouble) no idea where deliveryit is. Refund 3 days! So no food and shopping money with Asda how does my family get fed now? Do Asda care - not likely. Shopped in store for years but the service and moreover aftercare means I will prob now use Sainsbury’s or Tesco. Automatic failure penalties should be implemented for this sort of thing. Glad I’m not a single parent on strict budget if you are do not use this service. Asda should be ashamed perhaps they are the ones who need .... every little help. #fumingatasda.”
“I bought the corner garden set, it turnt up with no screws and no instructions I then had to call to get these sent out, they arrived loose in a envelope and not enough screws I’m now on day 8 and still no screws or instructions! I had to cancell our family garden party! And all customer services said was “ oh sorry here’s £40”
I paid over £400 for something I can’t use and once again it’s out of stock!”
“Well Luton Asda Does it again
Making me feel I am not honest
I am signed to to shop and scan
Man's razer's with a sucuirty tag on
Went to process my shopping all items went through
Suddenly had a Asda employee hovering over me
Before I could ask them to remove the tag from the razer's
Then she took the item detaged and ordered me to show her the recipient
I paniced pressed the screen no receipt came out
She had to go into the system and print receipt
I was shocked Asda had been monitoring me as she had approached me before I had asked any staff member to remove tag
I told the Asda employee you are making me feel like I am a shop lifer
It's really wrong the way that Asda use monitoring proceedures
I have never not scanned an item I am paying for
also the razer's where on the receipt but the employee was checking my receipt for a long time making me feel even more paniced
Horrible position to be placed in 😕”
“I contacted Asda about a cleverspa tub I purchased off them which had gone faulty. I made the mistake of contacting the manufacturer first who said they would fix after lock down but didn't. By the time I contacted Asda my warranty had expired. Asda refused to help, refused to let me make a complaint and refused to tell me how to follow there complaints procedure. Ive never dealt with such poor customer service or treatment with any company in my life, and I've previously bought from the Range ;-) well done Asda your officially the worst.
They are truly shocking and don't care once they have had your money. I personally will never buy or shop at Asda again and judging by the reviews on this site I'm not the only one. Totally disgusted and will make it my new hobby to post as many reviews on as many sites as I can warning people about them.
AVOID @ ALL COST”
“Customer Services NEVER answer a direct question. Even tried contacting their CEO but complaint passed to one of his minioo. My advice, barage Aldi Customer Services until you receive a satisfactory answer - AND demand compensation! Lynne”
“Absolutely the worst online grocery company ever, please refer to my comments pin trustpilot. This company is a total joke. I contracted food poisoning due to Asda and they didn’t care”
“Tried to return a broken microwave. Staff went from being dismissive and unhelpful to downright aggressive and intimidating. This company is not respecting it's customers.”
“the worst service ever
, poorly trained employees the customer service is a shame everyone who my wife calls to try to solve the situation all the employees tell you something different and your situation is not resolved and the frustration only increases when you asks to talking to the manager or supervisor he still knows less that everyone and in no way helps you except "your complaint will be forwarded to the office"
my wife paid extra to have things earlier
at home, the driver who came to deliver things rang the doorbell and my wife opened the door
she went down the stairs with the baby to see the driver and he just sat in the van for 10mints and left
my wife has been talking to the customer service on the phone since 7:50 am and everyone who answered the phone always had something different to say in short, nothing was resolved for me to arrive at 10 pm from work and see my hungry son crying because the purchases had not arrived
nobody is responsible
nobody does anything
sincerely with this level of service and professionals, admires Asda's open doors
it's a shame
I will not recommend it to anyone and I will write a bad review every day until we reach 100% of bad review
SHAMEFUL, WORST company ever
Don't buy nothing from here”
“If you live on a first floor massionett please dont shop at asda, as driver buzzes, and then disappears or dump the shopping as it's too much like hard work to phone and say what end of blocks he's at or that he's unable to delivery to your door, plus they no longer use bag for delivery so all big joke really.. they need to put it in capital letter in term and condition for idiots like myself. Never re ceived, presume driver either return or kept products.”
“just went to asda Tiptree lady on door just looking around , people not cleaning there hands. no spray to wash the trollys . not good !! .. i thought asda may have leart by the last outbreak in there with the manager.. !! the virus is getting bad again and nobody is doing anything to try to help keep it away ... very concerning ...”
“Not any staff available to help me 9.10 am 8th may 2021
Unhappy that Asda not opening anymore till 8.00am unlike sainsbury and Tesco.
Will have to shop in Sainsbury’s in future as they still open at 7.00am”
“Redeemed a voucher for £50 but didn't receive my shopping. They kept asking me to provide the same information. I am NOT employed by Asda to do their work!!! No wonder their adverts used to pat their back pocket - it's OUR money these bandits have unlawfully pocketed.”
