“I’m a single mum of 2 young children and I struggle financially as it is. I did a weekly good shop from asda for delivery for the first time, as I usually use Iceland. I was given a delivery slot of 9pm-11pm, I stayed up until 1am and my delivery had still not arrived. I woke up this morning, still not arrived. No texts, emails, calls or anything to say it’s cancelled or delayed. In fact, my tracking details just say ‘delivered’. I ordered from here as I like to shop in asda usually, I’ll never order from here again.”
“Could someone please explain why I came to your store and paid £1.92 and I have just clone past your store a St. Helens 8.5 miles away and it’s £1.86 .”
“My husband called to do our shopping on the way back from work as I have just come out of hospital he realised he didn’t have a pound on him for a trolley so asked the staff who was returning the trolley’s if he could please release one but was refused surely it wouldn’t have hurt him it isn’t as the store keeps the pound so my husband went to another store and they did release one”
“Disability discrimination experienced in store. Impossible to rectify or address through Asda's given support channels. So, i have to sue them instead.”
“Just brought shift your brand of fruit and fibre cereal and to my horror I found one current in my bowl of cereals I entered the contest out took a photograph and couldn't believe there was five current in there and two pieces of coconut unbelievable I should have gone to Tesco's Sainsbury's the cornershop even to get better”
“Just found out that if you work in the education sector you can get up to 60% off your shop. Moreover, it’s not just teaching staff but includes caretakers and cleaners too. WHY.
I shop at Asda everyday for my family’s food etc, and spend approximately £200 a week. This is in the region of 50% of my income I can’t afford to subsidise other households particularly when they earn more than me. Apparently Sainsbury’s offer a similar scheme for that employment sector too.
Well as I now know this, as from today I won’t be party to this discriminatory injustice it’s like a private stealth tax. I will do my shopping at Aldi and Lidl in future they’re cheaper too.”
“Wow went to click and collect at the Brynmawr store today , a young gentle man brought out my groceries , all I can say is what a very pleasant person so helpful going above and beyond with this service ,he is a credit to your store hope he is going to be a regular at the job excellent service 👍😁”
“Awful company since Walmart sold them ! The Issa brothers are money grabbing leeches. Terminated the City cleaning contract and thousands forced redundancy, stores cleaning hours cut dramatically resulting in filthy stores. As a former cleaning manager, I don’t slip there knowing how much cleaning doesn’t now get done, all to save a few £££ !!!!”
“Ordered groceries online. When delivery arrived 15 items missing and no explanation given. Tried contacting customer services who have not replied to my email.”
“Asda is the best shop i bourt
Lots of bedding out plants and they are the best ever.🌻🌸🏵
I got some the other week from tesco and what a wast of money !
They went in the green bin ! 😡”
“People only write about what they’re not happy about when visiting supermarkets such as Asda. Today I went into my local store and witnessed an extremely rude customer speaking to a young lad in a way I wouldn’t treat an animal. He was calm and courteous and under no circumstances deserved to be spoken to in such a way. This was because Asda don’t stock the cigarette tips she was after. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and no one was there to back him up.
He was clearly shook up by the whole ordeal. So please bear a thought for the young assistants who are there to help and not be spoken in such a disrespectful manner. They don’t get paid enough to put up with that.”
“Refused my £38 back for missing items, when I found out that a member of staff had taken my shopping when picking up click and collect ordered from Asda Dagenham
I have ordered from asda click and collect at least 5X each time items are missing. The last time I had £38 of missing items.
At the time i did not realise that it was this much as it was the last order and i had already waited 25 minutes before a member of staff came out to talk to me to tell me someone had taken my items. They told me it was a member of staff who had taken my original order and he had a few bits from large order. I was told the other items were being collected now. He then came back to tell me they were still shopping with a few more itemd so now i did not know what was there and what wasnt. After waiting over an hour in the freezing cold, in the secluded allocated spot which is pitch black, no CCTV and quite creepy late at night I thought will take the issue up with asda once I got home.
I rand within 2 hours of getting home but 9 weeks later, 3 recored phone calls (that I sent them where I was originally promised this refund time and time again) and 7 long emails later explaining my shopping was taken by a member of their staff.
I have been refused my refund as it seems, my time has run out to get it.
I am so angry but it seems there is nothing I can do. Wrong on so many levels. I will never use asda again. I should have learnt from my previous orders of wrong or missing items”

“I have bought some fruit split ice lollies on saturdday, and they taste bland like water, and the ice cream filling was like frozen milk with no taste. Could you do something about this? thanking you, Lenora”
“Placed my Asda order at 10am as am hosting party at 8pm that evening.
delivery was scheduled 11-1pm . at 1.01 having not received my goods i went on Asda app and realised they had cancelled my order at 1.10. having called customer care i understood Asda using delivery through a third party can do this at any time with no notice required. I was refunded the Monday and had to call customer care to arrange another delivery slot 2-4 pm. Again at 4.01 I realised this order too has been cancelled. I am now on my third order which states the driver is in store awaiting for goods to be dropped, the amount of time delay has resulted in significant substitutions, and my order is currently 1 hour late with no news on when it will arrive. Once again I contacted customer care and received the Uber drivers number. When calling this i got no answer. As I am in a wheelchair i rely on this delivery service with Asda standard delivery never failing before.
I would strongly recommend against using this express service which charges £8.50 for delivery of food that does not seem to arrive”
“will never order express delivery 40 pounds worth of my food missing
Paid 8.50 for express delivery only to be told they can only give me a e voucher that's worth only 5 pounds and I would have to reorder again
What joke how can this happen when they have a shopping list appalling”
“i been to asda Bristol bed minster staff are very rude staff are taking reduced items before customers favoritism going on same customers getting reduced items before anybody else i spoke to head office waste of time the other customers are racist”
