We bought a new coffee machine and purchased a pack of six cartons of long life milk from the Asda store in Walsgrave Coventry on 31st March 2023. We used the first carton in the machine and shortly after three of us began suffering from upset stomachs and thought it may have been a bug we’d pick up and didn’t connect it to the coffee. The following day after drinking a cup of coffee we again began to feel ill. I went to refill the milk container on the machine and noticed the sell by date on the milk was NOV 2022. I know it’s long life milk, but being this far out of sell by date is taking the …. This is an absolute disgrace that Asda have product STILL on the shelf for sale not just a few days, not just a week, but FIVE MONTHS OUT OF DATE. Totally unacceptable and something that cannot and should not be defended. What have you got to say for yourselves Asda? And, by the way, thanks for making us ill. I shall be returning them and expect some lame excuse, or most likely, no excuse at all.

Today, I received yet another disappointing online shop from Asda with plenty dented tins offloaded into the online delivery. However, what has really angered me is one of my substitutions. Their policy says that, if it costs more they'll refund the difference. I'm sure that they'd claim that my replacement was the same cost for both packs - except that I got 1.6kg instead of 2.1kg of product. Same brand... different pack. To my mind, that's amounts to a blatantly inflated, or shrink-flated, price. Per kilogramme, that's a 30% price hike. Sent back! Asda price promise for substitutions? Given the current cost of living crisis, and the evident profiteering with all supermarkets' diesel prices, I consider that this reveals meaningless, cynical deceit in Adsa's so-called substitutions price promise. I, for one, no longer believe what Asda says, or trust what they do. Time to change shop, I think!

Our delivery didn’t arrive, first time we’ve used Asda. Phoned customer services who clearly use a script. And also don’t speak very good English so were hard to understand.. they said they didn’t know what happened to my order so they cancelled it and said it would be 3-5 working days until I get a refund… which means I can’t afford to go somewhere else to do my shopping. My family now won’t have food for 5 days. That is appalling. I’m completely disgusted with the service and more so the customer service. Thank you Asda, never again

It's not acceptable that Asda deducts £99 pounds pending payment for putting £15 in my tank, I'm not aware of any other petrol station doing this ? It's still " pending " 48 hours later , I will never visit Asda's petrol station again

I ordered a delivery (CHATHAM store) for a Friday evening a month or so ago and it was delayed, so late that I had to change my plans for that evening. Unacceptable. A delivery is meant to be more convenient, not less. I then had to keep calling them to find out where my delivery was because their app is a waste of money and effort. Its not kept up to date - what is the point in having it? My delivery was then declared undelivered and cancelled at around 9pm that evening. And its happened again. Reordered my failed delivery and cancelled the next day (thanks I guess for letting me know - eventually) for today and again its around an hour late already. No communication, the app is still useless, Asda doesn't care about its delivery service and one of the drivers even advised me that their new vans are unreliable. Terribly poor delivery service and even more disappointing is; despite having all this communication technology, their failure to let you know when its delayed or not going to be delivered. Not worth the rising prices for deliveries that I don't mind not being delivered, I am understanding that circumstances happen, but to not communicate that effectively, is just inconceivable. Going elsewhere.

ASDA WALLINGTON SUPERSTORE- Operational Manager Vania Food Hall Manager and chilled section leader and Home & Leisure manager “are never to happy to help”! But happy to walk away is their policy they are very rude and should not work with the public as their attitude is not to be bother to help!! They need to be immediately replaced they clearly don’t have the right skills for the job nor do they have the necessary knowledge or experience to do their jobs properly the only question was where are the trollies kept and they all said outside, explained then there were none their and their response was to walk away, they are very rude and arrogant They need investigating and to be severely disciplined also believe that the treatment and poor customer service that I received is racially motivated and i personally feel racially discriminated against I also very strongly believe thatIf this issue is not urgently resolved then the company asda will continue to receive email complaints such as this unless the company takes the appropriate action against the the operational manager vania Foodhall manager, chilled section leader and home & leisure manager.

I purchased two trays of turkey lean mince on 27th February 2023 when I came to use it the following day it was dated 26th February. I rang to tell Asda this and they sent £5.50 the price of the goods. I would have thought they would have sent a little something extra for the inconvenience! Most stores do. Quite a bad mistake on Asdas part selling goods out of date.

Lies and false advertising. Told me I downloaded app after ordering which was why I didn't get £5 credit, complete lies. Won't use again. At least Lidl gave the £5 as advertised.

This supermarket is superb 1. The valentine meal deal was brilliant when food prices have risen so high they pulled the rabbit out of the bag with this one. 2 . Delivery service is excellent and economical 3.All the stores have shortages but Asda have been bending over backwards to keep the shelves filled so we have groceries in our cupboard offering alternatives where they can they need morale boosting all of their staff do so Asda know this we are with you.

Visited Springfield (Chelmsford) Asda on a busy Friday, only two people on tills, result long queues, whilst more staff standing around in the self-service area. I must have been in the queue for at least 20 minutes. The expectation is always for people to use self-service. On some days only one till open, it is getting ridiculous. I am now using Sainsburys more simply because they man their tills much better. Also have now noticed that Sainsburys are reducing more items, which have become overpriced in Asda such as Lloyd Grossman, Sharwoods and Heinz. Asda seem only interested in selling their app and as a consequence the prices on other goods are going through the roof. I am very close to no longer using Asda

Shocking experience in the Penryn store. Not enough tills, got overcharged again on a product which was cheaper on the shelf for the second week in a row. Went for a refund on the desk which was manned by one lady all on her own also dealing with lottery tickets and cigarettes. Asda have got rid of the dedicated customer service desk. I felt so sorry for her, she had a huge queue. I've been shopping thrre since it opened in the 1990's but never again. Off to Lidl from now on.

Just want people to be aware and check everything you scan at the self service checkout. Over the past few weeks I've asked for items to be cancelled and so as a few people I've been speaking too in my area. I'm fed up of purchasing ' what I'm believed to be a bargain as its on offer ' on scanning at checkout it's higher than original price. The excuse there giving customers is that there computers are slow..yeh right. Check every item you scan.

The valentine meal for £15 was lovely, the best meal deal I've ever had would definitely recommend it. Well done Asda. We're an 80 year old couple who still celebrate valentine's

These are my experiences of my problems trying to use the ASDA offer https://corporate.asda.com/20221006/1-meal-deal-for-oaps-is-part-of-our-new-winter-warmer-initiatives https://corporate.asda.com/newsroom/2023/01/04/asda-extends-1-cafe-deals-for-kids-and-over-60s-as-inflation-pressures-continue-to-bite of soup and unlimited tea or coffee for over 60s until the end of March; also the reaction of customer services and ASDA CEO's office to me informing them about this. On 18 January I went to the ASDA, Isle of Dogs, London store to shop and use the above offer. I was told this was not possible because one of the microwaves was faulty and no soup would be available. It seems the other microwave would be reserved for making the lunchtime hot dishes. I wrote to customer services telling them that this situation needed to be rectified and was amazed to receive a reply that seemed to show they had no interest in this and that I should take it up with the manager of the store. Therefore I wrote to them again telling them that as customer services, comments from customers should actually be of interest to them, they wrote back asking me questions about the store, the answers to which I had already put in to my first message - showing they had not even bothered to read the first message before sending me a standard reply to get rid of me. On 31 January I went to the ASDA, Barking store to and try again use the offer. This time I was told that there were no hot drinks or meals available at all and there was no indication given as to when the problem might be fixed. I wrote to customer services again and have yet to receive any reply. I will not be going out of my way to try and use the offer a third time. Finally I wrote to the ASDA CEO. The response I got from someone, presumably delegated to handle my query, was that they were having an issue with the hot water and a store manager would keep me informed directly about what was going on. I thought this response was as glib as the one from customer services as it did not attempt to address: which of the two stores had the issue (presumably Barking but that does not explain what happened at the Isle of Dogs); why it was taking almost a month to solve the problem; customer services' original attitude. People might be forgiven for thinking that, although this and similar offers generate favourable headlines for ASDA when launched, in practice it is not possible to use them. I note that I have heard about similar experiences from other people trying to use the offer e.g. no hot water was available for the offer but conveniently other hot food was still available.

Go to the pershore branch most days because it's by work. Lately the shelves are empty. Some days, especially on a Saturday morning there are only 1 or 2 tills on even though there are queues. On one occasion I was told I would have to use the self service even though I had bags of coal and there were 3 members of staff behind the kiosk doing nothing.

Went to Asda Keighley today as we always do every week but when we got to the tills the Queue was 15 deep with only 2 tills open we had a lot of shopping so didn’t want to go through the self checkouts . We waited 20 minutes then had enough and left the trolley and walked out . This company is getting a total disgrace only care about the cash. Customer service is a disgrace and too many self checkouts ?? Time to find a new store.

Delivery...never arrived! Booked for between 7.30 and 8.30pm...on the tracker from 7.30pm there was a driver has arrived message.....no driver arrived. At 9pm still no arrival. Contacted customer services and was assured order would arrive by 10.30pm At 10.45 a message popped up to say order was unlikely to arrive. Contacted call centre again and adviser said order would arrive by 11.45pm No way!..... I told her this was in no way acceptable to me and to cancel as the goods( including frozen) would not be in a fit state given they would have been loaded at around 6pm ( possibly before) This is my third bad delivery experience. I will never order from Asda again. VERY POOR CUSTOMER CARE...POOR UPDATING AND NO KEEPING CUSTOMER UPDATED!
