“I paid on the self service checkout and the lady came straight over to check everything was ok and was so jolly when I left saying "have a lovely day, bye!" this really made me smile. All the staff seemed so happy and friendly really makes a difference !! Plus prices are great here!”

“Asda orders are usual wrong somewhere along the line, on one occasion a bag of dairy products was covered in dried chocolate milk - who puts that in bag for delivery? On another occasion even though there was enough room on my side of the road the driver insisted on parking on the other side and putting our groceries in the gutter. The last straw was when we were waiting for a delivery between 8pm and 10pm on a Friday and the driver rang at 9.25pm to say he wouldn't be coming (no 'I might be late' etc.), then proceeded to give me a number to call to sort it out myself!!! When I rang them I received a scripted apology and all they could offer was to message the warehouse to get them to ring me to rearrange the delivery. No one called on the Saturday, I rang again and was told that as they had sent a message to the warehouse they couldn't do anything else. Still nothing on the Sunday (we had wanted most of the delivery for a BBQ Sunday afternoon - so had to run around getting the items we needed). When I rang to cancel the order they were back to the script and asked if they could do anything else to help - always a joke. I emailed a complaint to Asda directly and got back a standard reply which did not answer any questions about why and offered me a free delivery (never used). I closed my account and deleted their app from my devises. I will never have a delivery from them again. They obviously do not care about customer service at all.”
“Helpful staff and customers at both Asda shops in Hull allowed my disabled wife to shop while I had a coffee and crossword. They loaded/unloaded the shopping using the bag on the back of her motorised scooter. A bit of independence for her. A bit of a break for me. Thank you.”
“Range of food good and prices are keen but my local ASDA staff really need some customer services training. They chat with each other when customers need help, they rarely interact with customers and all seem to unable to smile.”
“The company itself is fine. They have done their utmost to try and fix the issues, the problems are with the delivery company they use ArrowXL. You go on the online chat with ArrowXL to make arrangements and they are either making false pronises or the guys in the warehouse are just not taking any notice because my requests are just not carried out. It is very frustrating. I have been waiting for my items since the beginning of May and they just keep going back to the depot because they are just not listening when I tell them they need to use a VAN not their usual lorry as my road is not easily accesible. The part of my order that came from Yodel in a VAN I might add came fine within 5 days! So my review in concludion for George.com and Yodel is 5star BUT for ArrowXL is 1star. ArrowXL let the service of George.com down sadly.”
“I've placed my order Friday morning paid for a delivery Saturday 7:00 p.m. Asda company send me an email saying that they could only delivery my of my food on Sunday at 8:00p.m, it's 22:20 and I am seated at my garden waiting for my food... I live in the middle of nowhere, I don't drive!! I am thinking about to go out for dinner but it will cost me at least £100,00 pounds plus taxi, who is gonna to pay that for me?? I just called the company and they told me that they are going to call me tomorrow morning to explain what's is happening.. I really don't want explanations my food over my table is enough... I am really mad about that and when I called they not even offered my money back. I am young and have friends and of course will arranje my dinner anyway. But can you imagine if I were an old lady, or disable person what shoul I do?? Think about that!! I still waiting for my dinner.”
