“driver rude and can't wait to get away.
the last 2 orders have had several items missing and no substitute but I have been charged for them. I telephoned the customer services number and on both occasions got a call centre in a foreign country.
I have a disability so unable to get to the store which is why I use online shopping. They refused to send a vehicle with the missing items and said would just give me a refund.
the very next order I placed the same thing happened. this time the delivery came without carrier bags which I had requested and 3 items missing. I phoned the customer services and the lady couldn't even pronounce my name correctly. her English was very poor. she promised a refund and also a £15 e-voucher. 10 days later I have received the refund but no e-voucher. I will NEVER use Asda online shopping again. Ive just tried Morrisons online delivery and they are a millions times better. Asda online delivery is a JOKE !!”
“Cafe express in asda colne what a joke stood in queue for half hr (2.35)only to be told that after 3pm on weekend i can only order if I'm sitting in as they won't give you a take out of the display if they had actually moved a bit faster instead of chatting it would have been before 3pm plus there attitude was terribly I will never use them again and will copy and paste this on social media absolutely ridiculous”
“The toilets at the Colindale are a disgrace. For a supermRket if this size to have 3 female toilets where one is out of order and the other two are filthy is.a reflection of what Asda thinks of its customers who rake in enormous profits for them”
“Don't even deserve 1 star!! Booked a slot between 6pm-8pm. Delivered at 9.15pm!! Then got a substitute- I ordered 10 little angels nappies and got a substitue of 1 pampers nappy at a smaller size and got charged extra for it!!! Would NEVER recommend Asda home delivery!!”
“Horrible horrible experience with Asda. This was the first time I ordered groceries from them. And definitely the last time. I'll stick to Morrison and Tesco. Definitely more cooperative. The driver arrived before delivery time and since I wasn't home, marked my groceries as 'refused delivery'. I called up the customer services who apologiesd at first and said they would have it redelivered and someone would just call back. I waited till midnight and recieved no call (delivery time was 8pm). I called up the next morning and Washington at customer services was not at all accommodating and said they cannot take responsibility for this. The driver did not call me when he arrived because their system does not allow that (then why do they even take the customers contact number). And when they said they would call back for redelivery, they didn't call because they have too many customers to deal with. Pathetic experience. Very unexpected as competeing companies are so cooperative with customers.”
“Spent just short of £100 on an Asda grocery shop to be delivered on the 16/03/2017 between the hour of 7pm-8pm for it not to even show up no phone call to say it wouldn't be coming. So I ended up calling Asda at 9.10pm for them to say it's been cancelled as we could not make the delivery time. I have a 3 year old child at home who's in a hip spica and having to work between my child and been on the phone to Asda it's disgusting it's wrong it's unprofessional. You've caused me so much hassle and grief Asda I hope your proud I can not even get out the house to even go to a local shop to get stuff as my child cannot get out the house either. I'm so annoyed with you!!!!”
“Scheduled a Asda Home Delivery online, after waiting in - the delivery slot came and went with no groceries, not even a phone call to let me know what the ETA was.
I then called the Customer Service number, which was clearly based somewhere in India judging by the poor grasp of the English language and was told in a very roundabout way that the order had been cancelled with no information as to why.
To top this whole sorry experience off, I then received a text message 6 hours after the scheduled delivery slot informing me that the order was cancelled!
I will never use or shop with Asda ever again but based on this experience.
AVOID ASDA HOME DELIVERY!”
“Ordered an item online, then was told item had been discontinued. Two weeks later still waiting for our refund. Would never order anything off this unprofessional and totally useless company!”
“This company is the worst ever online food shopping I will not be dealing with you ever again your company is shit !! Always late food always missing always substitutes I've had enough !!”
“Always used to pop in to store but recently started using online ordering!
Got our shopping on Saturday 30 minutes late which wasn't a problem. As my wife had ordered I just signed it off trusting everything was there. More than half our shopping wasn't delivered and now we battling with Asda to get back what we already paid for!
Has really peed me off!
I've lost trust in online ordering and will now pop in stores to shop but maybe not Asda next time!!!”
“Asda - very poor - items ordered not in delivery, yet paid for - received poor/bruised quality fresh fruit - received wine with still security tags attached. Will never recommend - atrocious service”
“Absolutely USELESS.
Your service sucks, your delivery sucks and your customer care sucks.
I ordered a delivery for a specific time, knowing that I needed to be elsewhere a little after the delivery.
I have used Sainsburys delivery for over 2 years without any problems (and when there were problems they gave me free delivery at a time that suited me)...now I get a notification AFTER the Asda delivery time to let me know the delivery will be late. I check back, and the delivery time keeps getting pushed back and back and back.
I called Asda to tell them that their ineptitude has cost me 20 quid (due to a ticket I had bought for after an hour after the original delivery time, but they wouldn't do anything about this, but offered me free delivery for my next shop. I said no, because I'd spent 20 on a ticket that I could not use. They said it is not their policy to reimburse people. I spent almost an hour on the phone to someone overseas who clearly has no appreciation of "I want what I paid for" and an agreement is an agreement - but that's not their fault, they have clearly been trained to read off a screen and follow instructions and nothing else.
Absolute crap.
Sod you Asda - I will never be using their sh1t service EVER again.
Serves me right trying to see what the lowest priced delivery service would give me, doesn't it.
Asda, you can get stufffed”
“Ordered 4 items of fresh meat - of these two were unusable. The mince was blown and only had a shelf life of 2 days and the packaging on the sausages were open. E mailed customer services and they refunded the mince but not the sausages so had to e mail again.
Complete lack of customer service - this was the reason I stopped using them a few months ago but they weren't bothered. Now have to go shopping again which is totally inconvenient when I'm working nights. Do not use. I'm going back to Tesco”
“I bought a Asda's delivery pass for a year as I live in a rural area and I thought it would make my life easier. Do not spend the money on the delivery pass, Asda feel you are a capitive customer and treat you with contempt. Over half of my orders were delivered excessively before the delivery slot, with Asda phoning my mobile and telling me they were ready to deliver, with the earliest example on a 5-6pm slot of a phone call at work at 2pm saying they were ready to deliver, each time I have left work early or dropped my 12 year off to open the house before I had completed the school run in order to accommodate Asda's time frame. Booking a later slot resulting in them delivering at the end of the 2 hour slot so didn't fit in with family life. One shop was not delivered at all, no phone call to advise me of this Asda just cancelled the order, but I waited in for two hours. As the order contained items for my 85 year old mother , I had to take time off work the following day to do the shopping and drop it over. Not great when you work in the NHS and need to be reliable.
Ther was no response from customer service when contacted, they are not interested and did not reply to any contact. Phoning them is only good to get items refunded.
At Christmas Asda failed to deliver a turkey or the Stilton, really the main points of my Christmas shop and yes substitutions were always on, which resulted in another round trip of 18 miles to do a shop when I had booked a delivery slot to avoid this.
The final straw was when we stayed in a cottage for two nights and I booked an order so we wouldn't have to go out and shop, the driver phoned 25 minutes before the delivery time and informed us he had another 20 drops to do and couldn't wait. He then hung up on us. I phoned Asda customer service to ask if he could do the drop at the end of the round, to reach a total lack of interest, I kept being told we should be in for our time slot, which we hadn't reached at the point of the call, they were uninterested in helping, just said they would leave the food on the back of the truck and deliver it the following day. No use to us arriving to a holiday cottage without any supplies for the evening. I cancelled the order and had to go shopping when we reached our destination. I requested a refund of my delivery pass as I felt Asda was not meeting the agreement of delivery for the time slot, but as I had used the delivery pass the request was rejected. I have ticked the box to advise Asda as I feel they ought to be more interested then they are, but know they will disregard this as they have before, Do not buy the delivery pass.”
“Hi,well still waiting for a refund to be in my account replacing an item, but as I'm in a inspired mood now I would like to add a few words:
ASDA
*Management and quality
*Good life at your choice
can you please check my item,Parcel ID:ASDK001785;Mr. Bahram Poorkaka;Ls13 4jj.Thank you.”
“a catalogue of errors! freshness, totally different things for an alternative. Lemon virtually mouldy. Basil dying off, bread squashed. never order online again.”
“Security Guards what a joke, bloody rude and they think everyone's a shoplifter, sad gits, just like the rest of the staff that work there. They want to learn customer service and keep their snide remarks and inappropriate comments to themselves, oh and take a long good look how they look.”
“I shop in Asda evry day,I was at checkout and asked for cash back the cashier and another member of staff were busy talking and she forgot about cash back and told me she would have to start again and rescan, and told me that a cash machine was outside I said it didn't matter and went to kiosk and brought something else low and behold they were talking to and I stood there while they finished their conversation .”
