“7th Feb delivery never turned up.
17th Feb delivery never turned up both occassions i called several times was fobbed off with lies, taken my money from account.
no text from delivery driver to say there was a problem now having to chase to get money refunded do not use unless you want a headache and large phone bill.”
“I was charged twice for my home delivery food shop last year when i did it online. It was then cancelled i never once got my money back from them or a apology. Went into their cafe for a drink with a friend disgusting flithy cafe stained mugs and really dirty tables. No staff about”
“Only if I could give a ZERO.
My second attempt to get home delivery and driver denied to bring the order to my door asking me if I dont have lift in the building he can not bring my order upstairs which by the was only on 1st floor.
Extremely disappointed with Asda home delivery. i wish they realised how much inconvinience they are causing to their customers whether we are working class who need to prepare meals for our families and relying on the order to arrive so can feed young children. Or might be may be medical reaaons a customer can not go shop or carry bags upstairs and ASDA let you down.”
“Asda grocery delivery service is pathetic and ridiculous. I am writing this feedback after my 3-4 trials. They frequently send a useless substitute of product you must require. This time I have booked my order 4 days back and planned a party accordingly. Before 15 min of delivery time they have canceled my order without providing any details. when I called to they customer care, they put me on hold almost 15 min finally told that driver not available for your delivery. If they don't have driver then why the hell they took 4 days to figure out that. When i ask them to deliver my order next day as next day party planned to my place. they told there is no slot available for next day earliest available slot for you is after 2 days.
Guys my sincere advice, If you have your plans don't order from asda.”
“Literally the worse delivery service I have ever received. Customer services were absolutely useless I called three times and they kept saying my order was delayed by more and more time. I have sitting down wasting my day and I am still waiting it has been two and a half hours. Piece of advise- order from Tesco instead XX”
“Not happy at all received a carton of juice today nearly 5 months out of date which I am waiting to be refunded for. Delivery hmm sick of having items missing from orders from the same delivery man and sick of receiving items with a low shelf/fridge use buy dates, December placed a big order and all of my chilled food was missing I received a £5 voucher because of this and was promised another £5 voucher as I was over charged too but didn't receive the voucher for that. I am now seriously considering shopping elsewhere.”
“If there was an option for zero I would have done it! They did not bring 18 of my chilled items on a delivery then lied and said we had told them it was fine to refund (according to the store) customer service on the phone did not have any notification by the driver of non delivery took 3 days to get a refund. All this was made worse by repeated promises of delivery from the store for the missing items even by the manager saying would drop it off by car!!!! They actually rang and told us delivery was arranged for following morning between 7-9 after numerous calls to store and having phone put down delivery didn’t not materialise! Asda are liars and have the worst customer service ever!”
“Store in Dunfermline was very clean, staff were very friendly. When couldn't find plain flour was shown where it was by staff who stopped what they were doing and physically showed me where to go.”
“26 Feb 2019 spondon derby I was so impressed when a member of your team kindly took my elderly mother to the ladies ,allowing me to continue my shopping .and she returned her to me whilst I was packing my bags it was so helpful and i was so gratfull as was my mother ,and the young lady was so polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble thank you very much asda”
“I'm not lazy. I ordered shopping with delivery to my home because I have a sick child. I am alone with a child. My son has chickenpox and can not go outside. I ordered a baguette, butter, fruit, juice ... what I really need. Bagels not available. How is it? I was not given bread for this price - nothing! I'm without bread. Thank you very much. All you had to do was to send a text message and ask if you could give something else. In Poland, I sometimes bought a home delivery from Tesco. Always as if the product was not available, they gave a different one. More in Asda I will not order home delivery.”
“I have used Asda for home delivery for years and apart from the odd blip it’s been a pretty good service. That’s until November 2018. Since then there has been problems. The first was an order due between 8-10. The estimated arrival time was 2 am. They would not deliver the next day and I couldn’t wait up so I had to cancel. They offered £2 off my next delivery cost as compensation. The next time there were a lot of missing items. Today an order arrived. Lovely person delivering as usual. Of a 50 item order 25 were not available. This was on top of the items that had already come up as out of stock before I placed the order. Not good at all. The money was put straight back into my account but I will now have to pay for a delivery from somewhere else.”
“After bad experience in Asda store in the marina Brighton, we decided to use their online click and collect. First time, we collected without checking and realise an item missing and one egg broken.
The second shopping, their collection point was changed to several small lockers, managed by a screen in the middle of the collection drive in point, except the drive in point was blocked by a Asda van being charged! The screen navigation was also very tedious and not user friendly plus it asks for your date of birth in BIG characters right in full view of everyone else!
Today, I've just been to attempt to collect but had to come away empty handed because; again, the drive way was blocked by a Asda van being charged, so defeats the convenience of click and collect, the order number, after trying it several times, doesn't work, just refers me to customer service telephone number which stays on for a couple seconds then changes back to previous screen thus making it impossible to try and call! and when I asked a passing Asda staff, he brushed me off saying he only does trolleys! and on top of all that, the screen was blocked by hanging charging cables which comes out from above drops down right infront of the screen to the ground and trails to the van, talking about health and safety!
The entire experience was stressful and NOT convenient at all. Just called Asda customer service, requested for full refund several times, but each time, I was surpassed by various options; It's ready for you to collect now, No, I'm not going though the entire charade again (drive in blocked by Asda van, find a parking space, get a trolley etc), we can arrange for delivery tomorrow? No, not possible, as a few of us DO work, that's why I picked click and collect ...
Whats the point of advertising this "convenience" if the company doesn't really believe in providing the convenience to it's customers? We will definately now shun from even using this service or should we say, non service.”
