Last year I bought a 50 pound gift card (plus delivery cost) for my aging parent in Warks. Being 90 and with recent memory issues, he lost the card after one small purchase. Having given it timeto resolve , I finally asked Asda Card Customer Service if they would give a replacement card. I had no card number but had the original email receipt. They told me only Head Office could do that. I called from Canada to Card Services and then to Head Office who told me yes, they could do that but I had to give the receipt to Card Customer Service and do it through them. I sent them the receipt and they said than you but I still had to get the replacement through Head Office. I called Customer Care from Canada again to let them know I had already talked to Head Office. They said only Head Office could do this. I called Head Office, they put me on hold (from Canada) and then cut me off. Clearly Asda is unable to train their staff to deal with unusual situations. This reflects on management ability to put in place adequate procedures. The company behaviour was unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers.

Disgusting delivery driver hit my car, broke back light and dinted rear wing, delivered shopping never said anything than had to return as wrong shopping given have contacted Asda customer service daily, continuously fobbed off since incident happened a week ago. So after you have your delivery check your vehicle cause they will not tell you if the hit it. ASDA IS A JOKE

There are a few occasions the delivery has turned up and drivers are helpful and polite. However, We have experienced our fresh food turn up frozen and that’s if we get our shopping at all. Tonight we were expecting a delivery 5-7 at 8 I called the “customer service” where I explained The situation they told me the status says it’s out for delivery, which I can see on my online profile. I confirmed that it’s definitely coming (as this was the only time in the next 3 days that I could receive a slot time. She confirmed it’s coming. 10.55pm I called again explaining the situation once again. The responce from the customer service informed me that he was guessing there might of been an issue because the warehouse hadn’t updated the system. I suggested he call them to which he told me they don’t have phones they just send messages. I asked what he suggest I do as there are no spaces and it’s my families lunch for work and school and he told me he doesn’t know. Eventually he decided he could give me a £10 good will voucher which would be online for my next online delivery. I’m currently booking now with Iceland to which I will get a delivery tomorrow and have done throughout the pandemic. I wouldn’t reccomend Asda as a reliable place. You will only get a refund and sent to the shop yourself. It’s quite frustrating when you are left with no food for the week and need to try to work our alternative arrangements to call the customer service to be told there’s nothing they can do. Not much help! I would take photos of my delivery but it didn’t come.

well this seems like a good time to write a review. Weve had missing items in the past or strange substitutes but tonight my order didnt turn up at all! It was due 7.30pm-8.30pm, didnt turn up so i phoned and was told he was running 40 mins late but it would still be with me. 9.30pm still not here so i called again and this time was transfered to a call centre abroad. Well it was pointless, they have no contact numbers for the drivers and could only keep saying she was trying to manage my expectations, absolute joke. My kids school lunches were in that delivery and because i wasnt informed the order was not turning up, it was too late to go to the shop. Dont bother with Asda, just absolutely appaling.

Absolutely shocking service! Had my order delivered today to my first floor flat. The driver waited outside of the my block of flats with my groceries. I opened the main door and the driver told me they were not allowed to bring the items inside. I am currently on leave from work after injuring my back and had to carry all of my own shopping upstairs and was informed that I would need to return the crates back down stairs. Imagine if I had been elderly or disabled and physically unable to carry my own shopping. I rang customer services who basically could not have cared less! I will never ever use Asda again for the rest of my life.

decided to buy a curry , unfortunately didnt expect to have such a poor quality one even though it was under £4.....I choose a lamb rogan josh, something I usually enjoy however it was grissly, chewy and tasted fatty with a strange flavour, my husband was happy with his though, he had a chicken Jalfrezi.

Asda Toryglen Glasgowhad turned shopping into a horrible experience. No control over number entering the store, very limited hygiene facilities and a general run down feel. I used to shop every week at Asda spending approx £120 but now I only go once a month to get some items that are generally cheaper. However after my last visit I shall be in no rush to return. Far too many people, family groups with kids running and shouting all over the place and lots of people not wearing masks. No visible security staff to try to enforce regulations. I did not feel safe and will not be back.

The store itself is good but the delivery service was awful. I ordered food with Asda and booked a home delivery. My time slot was between 20.00 and 22.00. When the delivery was due I received a text message that my driver Kwaku was on his way. At 23.00 still no info. Waited a longer and went to bed at 0.00. Still no delivery or any information. Next day I called the customer service and asked what happened. They were not able to see what happened but were able to rebook the slot. Next slot would be today 10th September. Again between 20.00 and 22.00. So I wait and wait. Again just a text that my driver Kwaku is on his way. No more information. I call the customer service. They tell me apologies and that he is delayed. So I wait but nothing. Again waited a whole evening and no delivery at all. Very bad delivery service won't order anything from them again.

ASDA only care about profits it seems, asda boldon i believe are not restricting the numbers of customers attending the store or it seems looking at the growing number of customers not wearing face coverings.the once oneway system has been abandoned leaving older customers and those hard working staff on the shop floor open to infection by covid.its no longer fun to go shopping because of the constant worry..

Did my weekly shop today and was appalled with the ladies service on the checkout. Most ladies wait till most shopping is on the belt, but not this lady. She threw everything down the belt piling up .Then sat checking her phone several times why I went through my shopping to pack my bags. I couldn’t believe her attitude. Obviously her phone was more important. I never complain as I know they work very hard in the store. I took note ov her name badge which was Lee. Won’t b going to her checkout again.

Asda having recently switched providers for their credit card have left their customers, who are owed money (by the previous provider of Asda cards) high and dry. The Asda Credit Card was closed on 13 June and we are still owed nearly £600 by the company. Some others are owed much more but Asda have effectively washed their hands of the whole matter. This is customer service at its worst and shows Asda’s contempt for their customers.

I have been ordering from Tesco and Sainsbury’s during lockdown. I’m disappointed that Tesco are now charging £4.50 per delivery. Most of Sainsbury’s fresh fruit and veg have been very short dates. I now thought I’d try Asda after family members have said they’re very happy. Free delivery ✅ Very fresh fruit and veg ✅ Helpful customer service ✅ Will I be ordering again ? ✅✅✅✅✅✅

Profits before lives. Disgusted that Aintree Asda allows so many people in the store without face masks.

I live near Asda at Longbenton, so it’s logical I shop there. However I have been disappointed with them for a long time. Most of the time, half of the shelves are empty, is was like this before Covid and is still the same now. Yesterday I went there and none of the staff are wearing masks, even those shopping for home deliveries. On top on this this, lots of shoppers were not wearing masks. It makes it a farce for those wearing them. I have now decided to boycott Asda and will no longer shop there.
