Absolute disgrace!!! ordered food to be delivered on Mothers Day ,booked slot , they tried to deliver earlier than time and we wasn’t in , then get phonecall saying can’t deliver for original time as van broke down so will have to deliver tomorrow at 10am , agreed with that , next day , 12pm still no delivery , was told willl be here before 2pm , said great but don’t deliver between 12.50 and 1.20 as got to take child to nursery . Tried to deliver at 1.12pm and we wasn’t in , so Rang again said have to collect from store at thurmaston . We go to thurmaston - no order there . They Sent us to wrong store !!! So had to go abbey lane , collected order , ordered £252 worth of food , got home , checked order , loads missing , mouldy peppers too , rang store , 3 days later still waiting for a phone call . Filled in missing items on Asda complaints to be told no refund for missing bits , so got to go back to store tomorrow. Still isn’t sorted out. Was offered a £50 voucher which we weren’t given then to be told only £30 which we will be credited into our bank , still not received , also on the day the van broke down was supposed to be credited £10 for the inconvenience for not receiving food that day , still haven’t received that either . Won’t be using these again as left out of pocket, haven’t received all the food so had to go Aldi and buy another £50 worth to cover meals for the kids

My disabled daughter has always shopped in Asda and we always said how nice the staff were and how the food was good value for money. She always spent between £200 to £300 every shop. On occasions because of her disability she has done online orders and has never had any problems. Last year some time she placed an online order again for a very big shop, when the shopping arrived my daughter was on her own so asked the driver if he would help her to take her shopping up one flight of stairs, she had never had any problems before as most of the other drivers she had asked always helped as they could see she was struggling to do it on her own, she usually has someone with her but was on her own. The driver was very rude and said he was not insured to carry her shopping and if he hurt himself was she going to pay him sick pay. She told him to stop shouting at her and told him to just leave it and she would wait till her neighbour came home to help her. She was very upset but then she just forgot about it. She has still continued to go to the shop for her shopping but if she is having difficulty walking she does her online order. Last year approx October or November she tried to do an order and it all seemed to go through but was then cancelled at the very last minute. We didn't think anything of it so I took her to the store to help her get her shopping. Then on Friday 15th March she again placed an online order and once again it was cancelled! We still could not understand it but then someone who I know who used to work for Asda told me that she had probably been blacklisted for home deliveries because of what happened with the driver! I am so shocked that the word of one person against another has now left my daughter unable to get an online order with yourselves, I wish now that my daughter had complained at the time of the incident but although she was really upset by it she felt she didn't want to get the driver into trouble for being so rude to her. I understand that drivers don't help take someone's shopping up stairs for them and as I said usually my daughter has someone with her or on the few occasions she was on her own the driver has been very kind and helped her, but this particular driver was so rude to her and was shouting at her, and yet he has returned to the depot and obviously complained about my disabled daughter. I am so disappointed that we have only just realised and been made aware that she has been blacklisted as no one from Asda has ever contacted her when she has done an online order to let her know why it was cancelled. Myself and my daughter will now no longer shop with yourselves and once I let my friends and family know I'm sure they too will take their custom elsewhere which is really disappointing as we always looked forward to shopping in Asda. I just wish my daughter had been contacted so she could have given her account of what happened on the day in question as it now seems that regardless of whether a driver or member of staff are rude to customers or give bad customer service they will always be believed over a customer.

Permit me to post my experience at Ada, the Jewish, Edinburgh, and the response from Asda executive. They care less about disability. They just don't care. I apologise to myself for letting insensitive people waste my time with explanation they would not consider anyway.

I am deeply disappointed with Asda with the ridiculous substitute items they delivered to my house. It is cheaper than the initial purchase and price. This is the 2nd time they will do this rubish.

I tried to buy the litre bottle of Baileys from the Ferring, West Sussex supermarket today. It was not marked up as on offer and when I put it through the till it came up as 22 pounds instead of the 13 advertised by you. I was told I was wrong even after showing them the offer on my phone. Somebody isn't doing there job properly in the pricing of items and the person serving me was very rude. Not a happy customer!!

Received wrong product (Manitou Virginia Gold instead of Green). Sent pictures to prove it. Still no refund. Have asked credit card company to block payment instead.

I visited Asda and went to use the instore toilet. When I walked in the standard was shocking, smelt of stale urine, cubicles filthy, pans stained, floors I have seen cleaner floors in a dog kennel. Totally unexveptable condition in a food store.

We were expecting order n. 2512495000425 to be delivered today in the time window between 7pm and 8pm. At 6.50pm, prior to the time window we set, we were informed by the driver that he had arrived at the address and was waiting for us. My wife responded to his call and informed your driver that I was on my way and would be home soon. Your driver told my wife that he would leave and would complete his journey first, deliberately putting our order at the end of some queue, after which he would deliver our groceries. I arrived at the address at the expected time - 7pm. From 9.10pm on we tried to contact the driver multiple times, but to no avail. At about 9.30pm we contacted the Asda Customer Service, to be informed that our order was cancelled. Your operator kindly suggested that we place a new order instead. Clearly, Asda expects their customers to accommodate their shortcomings. Despite being at the intended address within the intended time, your driver decided that we would not receive our order because his priority was to complete his journey as soon as possible. I am not going to waste any words describing how appalling and inacceptable this is. After 4 years of regular fortnightly orders - which you can easily verify on your system - I would like to inform you that this will be our last order with Asda.

A holding price of £99 is ludicrous for pay at the pump petrol, for over 30 years I spend an average of £90 per week on fuel and I 100% will avoid any Asda petrol at all cost. Once again £99 holding charge is crazy and extremely terrible business. How do you think this is acceptable.

I have asked many times for a welcome rewards they promise after your second purchase. Even if I have ordered some food from the online website tree times in tree weeks and send them my order confirmation details, all times they have declined my requests. In addition to this I also would say that the last driver, who delivered last Thursday on 22th of February, was really unkind, no help has been given, just rude manners. Hope to receive a better treatment next time. If don't, I will change my grocery. Daniela Innocente

Shocking delivery service and follow up customer service that I certainly won’t be using again and avoid anyone else to steer clear of. Order never turned up. No communication. Complaint to customer service who assured a call back from store in the hour. That never happened. Ordered again (only as had to use some vouchers). Lo and behold - not turned up at all on next day. Couldn’t make it up. Phone system for help is also a joke. It sounds like the sort of system put together by someone in a shack rather than a multi billion £ company. Tin pot solutions. No justification for shoddiness like this in todays competitive market.

I do not have a problem wirh the service in Asda, we have also received many home deliveries and l have been very happy with them.I do wonder about the hygiene however, as in my local store the card payment screens on the self checkouts are really dirty and could do with a good clean..just wonder how many bacteria are carried between customers.

Ever since it was purchased by a petrol retail company Asda has been sliding steadily downhill. It is no longer leading the way with lower fuel prices. This trend has continued to food prices. The prices of fresh produce has risen faster than even Waitrose whilst the quality has steadily worsened to the point where they are charging a higher price for cauliflower than Waitrose but with a far inferior product. The in store experience is grim with customer service non existent, no small bags to put loose fresh produce in prior to weighing, small trollers now have to be paid for. All meat and fish is stuck in cooled cupboards making it hard to inspect before selection whilst it is hard to get around the store without being barged aside by an army of pickers. That’s my last visit to Asda. Aldi, Lidl and Waitrose here I come. My advise to the new owners is to stick to petrol stations.

I was refused entry at your shore road store. The store clearly says that it closes at 6pm on a Sunday I arrived at 5.53pm and as I said I was refused entry. I literally wanted to grab one thing but was told no! I would have let it go but this is the third time this has happened to me at the same store and I find it odd that each time I was refused it was the security guards decision!! I’m writing this review as I am hoping that the management become aware of this as I’m sure I’m not the only customer this has happened to. Don’t advertise your opening hours as they are if the store isn’t gonna abided to them!!
