I feel that the service needs to be praised a lot more as every delivery driver I have had so far has been so kind and friendly and the service is always really good. “Ive had more than one bad experience with asda at the main store in kingsthorpe northampton. If you take anything back the senior staff act as though its a personal affront to them and its coming out of their pockets. EXAMPLE. Bought two pillows. buy one get one free, or two for the price of one, something on those lines. Says machine washable at 40degrees, I washed them on hand wash at 30, came out all out of shape and lumpy. ok, hopefully will restore in dryer. Nope, worse. So back to asda, stand around about 15 mins while staff member goes through the till trying to find them, in the end gets manager, explain to him, he has a look, cant find anything, So he turns to the staff member and says give the lady a voucher for £10, im fine with that. Anyway the staff member goes back to the till, im thinking shes sorting the voucher, stand there a bit more, in the end said," excuse me, what are you doing" "Looking for the price "' When i said, "hang on, your boss "and i emphasised the word boss "has just told you to give me a £10 voucher." Her response was on the lines of think yourself lucky youre getting it. Another one, someone did a bit of shopping for me, Smart price ham .Didnt look at lable just opened the pack it looks like luncheon meat, tastes like lucheon meat, smells like lucheon meat, but according to the pack its ham. didnt realise until i said something about the meat in the fridge. Its ham, he says. Sure enough thats what it says on the pack. Hate shopping there asda products are gross, only buy branded products if i have to shop there, forgot to tell the person shopping for me. oh and they arent the cheapest, do a virtual shop, with branded products and see who comes out tops.”

“They did not make me happy. They never arrived at the store. The store staff on customer help desk were abrupt most unhelpful referred me to phone .com line.
Person with foreign accent very difficult to understand was to ring me back and leave message all I could get was half a telephone message. I phoned store they tried to put me through to a guy the message came back he was to busy to speak to me had to go to a meeting. Phone .com again a woman told me to accept a refund as there were still the items I wanted. Needless to say there were not. Needless to say I will not shop with them again.”

“They don't even deserve the one star. Truly appalling service. Shopping was to be delivered last Friday 6-8pm. Come 8.30pm no sign of a driver or a phone call that something's wrong. I ring their customer service. They tell me driver couldn't find me so my shopping will not be delivered. Why didn't he ring? We are not sure why. Will I be charged for my shopping? Absolutely not. 3 days later I check my bank account and - wait for it - the whole sum for the undelivered shop is taken out of my account. Rang them again to ask for reimbursement - will take at least 48h but somehow I am skeptical this was my last call to them to rectify. Avoid if you can.”
“The click and collect service at Asda is not a service it is a disgrace, I had to wait over 15 minutes just to get anybody to START to get my parcel, luckily I asked a member of staff passing to find out what was going on.
The click and collect point is the other end of the store to customer service desk, that shows how interested Asda is in customer service.
I will never use click and collect at Asda again.”
“I had around 5 online grocery shops with ASDA. Terrible delivery driver attitude left you to unload boxes seemed to think organising the other boxes in the vehicle more important than helping the customer.
several items on order unavailable on almost every delivery even basics like long life skimmed milk that was the last nail in the coffin for me as milk was what I needed most.
I do online shopping because of limitations in mobility periodically so just felt what is the point in this if I still have to go out to local shops for basics because of their failure to deliver all and not just part of my order
As a result of this I now shop with Morrison and O.M.G. what a difference great helpers great organisation better quality food they even refund you for returned used bags”
