“We have actually used our last potatoes, and last eggs, awaiting an asda delivery that was due today. We are in a vulnerable age group so are isolated in our house, going slowly crazy. At exactly the time agreed, a van arrived with a cheerful friendly driver, who, having ushered me back inside the house, unloaded about five crates while keeping a sensible distance. All of the produce was fresh. I could moan about missing bananas that for some reason had been taken off the order, but given the circumstances, the whole experience was brilliant, and a real relief; some of the products were even special offers. Everything was there, and the quality was excellent. Very relieved”
“We just returned from collecting our first "Click and Collect" order from the ASDA store in North Hykeham.
We placed the order about two weeks ago, which provided ASDA plenty of time to manage their stock so that all our items would be available. About a third was not. Have ASDA's management never heard of planning?
Not only that, but the collect points were far too close together, and all were occupied - so maintaining 2m distance from our fellow collectors was not practical. Furthermore, the pleasant staff bringing the orders out kept coming far too close to us, and were not wearing gloves or masks.
When we unpacked the vegetables at home, we found that many of the packed items had an expiry date of tomorrow! Given the high throughputs being experienced by supermarkets just now, how come we were sold such old stock?
This was the last time we will use ASDA's services.”
“Delivery man had no gloves, no protective gears whatsoever. The shopping wasn’t packed and he was expecting me to unload the crates full of loose items from my doorstep. Where is the social distancing? On top of that he wasn’t happy that I was isolated, he knew it, it was stated with my order. I told him to leave everything in the crates and collect when he’s back in the area. Seriously, I thought it would be better organised than that! I had no problem with Morrison’s (the best) or Tesco.”
“Asda Rawtenstall , click and collect , been twice in last month , and the driver ( I don’t know his name ) as been so helpful I am 71 yrs old and he has been great”
“Thank you Asda. (Crawley - East Grinstead) from a Very Happy disabled/self isolating customer. I received my delivery, no problems. Delivery driver Excellent! Service Excellent! Items Excellent! Everything perfect with only 2 items substituted and I'm more than happy with them. KUDOS Asda 10/10”
“I'm really disappointed with the recent service received from Asda and given the nature of the purchase, angered by it also.
On Tuesday 24th March 2020, I ordered a celebration cake, candles and sparklers for my partners upcoming birthday on Tuesday 07th April 2020. Order number 19579118014. To align with work I booked a delivery slot for Sunday 05th April 2020 between 7pm and 9pm. I received an order confirmation email straight after placing the order and awaited the dispatch note to arrive today (Sunday 05th April 2020).
Only that didn't happen...
To my utter surprise and disappointment, instead of receiving a dispatch email. I received an order cancellation email instead!
After having a cry because I wanted to surprise my partner with a birthday cake as its his 40th and he hasn't had a cake since childhood, I took a look into it.
According to my online banking, the money is still in the account and it does not even look like an attempt was made to take it!
Not only that, but trawling through all my emails including the junk folder, if there was a failed attempt to take the money, there was no correspondence to me to indicate there was a problem with the order! As far as I'm concerned you saw the problem and chose not to inform me about it! If you bothered to communicate with me properly, I assure you, I'd of put it right straight away.
Although highly upset by this, and debating whether or not to still go through the process of re-ordering from you, I still clicked the 're-book order' button found at the bottom of the cancellation email, in the hope that I may still be able to salvage something from this wreckage.
It took me to my order which highlighted the supposed order issues. But also had a message that stated I had until 10pm on Saturday the 04th March 2020 to amend the payment to keep my order! This really angered me as it indicates a chance to put it right which you never bothered to make me aware of. Then to rub salt in the wounds further, your delivery slots are now booked out for weeks way surpassing my partners birthday.
So your failure to give me the fair chance to keep my order means you have let me down entirely as I can't get anything delivered and I now only have 1 day to try and source something as I can't get to a shop today! Which is rediculous as in my mind I had this sorted over a week ago.
Poor service, non-existent customer care. I can't trust in your company, and will sure as hell not shop with you again and if asked to give feedback, you can guarantee it'll be negative.”

“I’ve been having an Asda recurring delivery slot on Saturday mornings for months before the pandemic started and so far my slot hasn’t been cancelled, nothing too much has been sold out and completely unavailable for me and my subs have only been what they were before all of this began.
The delivery drivers have been great with their social distancing and my foods been packaged well 👍🏼
I know I’m one of the lucky ones who managed to get mine all booked up in advance before all this but regardless Asda haven’t let me down yet.
I’m a key worker and it’s hard enough to have to leave my family 6 days a week to go to work so not having to do any food shopping is a blessing for us.
I really hope they make more slots available for those who are in my position and would really appreciate a big weekly food shop right now.”
“Thank you Asda for delivering today. You are all doing a marvellous service under great pressure. Politeness and customer consideration by your staff are to be applauded.”
“The delivery drivers could not even follow simple instructions, making excuses in order to cover his back. Definitely would NOT use ASDA again! Rather than ASDA, Sainsbury's and TESCO are much better...”
“Just received my first click an collect order from Asda brynmawr. Had a few subs. But I’m over the moon with my shopping an will definitely use again. Fab dates on my fresh food 👏👏👏👏😃😃😃”
“The packaging was bad. 2 packs of fish with the delivery day being the use by day .They were in a carrier bag on their own . Fresh raw chicken placed in a bag with microwave food and vegitables .Bagels with a 1 day use by day .
2 kids easter eggs broken to bits as rattling around in box.
I'm severely disabled and I actually do not want salmonella either.
I phoned customer service I was promised a refund but I have not heard anything.
I was surprised that customer service could not see my £75 order when i gave them my order number.
Tesco and Sainsburys can and they can even take your shopping to the check out when I was having problems .”
“The Asda store in Oldbury are ensuring 2 metre social distancing outside is adhered to, however once you are in the store its a free for all as there is no process in place for social distancing. They have arrows on the floor directing you everywhere, so pretty pointless. The staff also not adhering to the 2 meter rule and although you have your space they dont seem to be bothered about their health or other peoples. My suggestion would be to shut shop and only offer delivery or click and collect service to prevent this from happening, however at the moment the click and collect or delivery is constantly sold out, which is slightly confusing due a large portion of the car park being blocked for click and collect and no one is ever in that section collecting....how many slots do you have if any???”
“I went to Wakefield asda as it opened thinking it was the over 70 hour....I must have been wrong. Queue well managed but the rest....well if I had not been exposed to the virus before my chances now have trebled. Asda employees no gloves or masks, walking very near to customers and generally doing little about government guidance. Too many people in the store and even though it is large impossible to socially distance..doorman just waving customers through. No point for many elderly people saying 2 metres they were taught imperial and know what a couple of yards is better....all publicity wrong to not say both. Many couples and families there so one person rule not enforced. I could go on.......you need to do something about this......Tesco in most stores have got it right.”
“I have been trying to order for over a week now.. i have waited online for hours for the delivery or click n collect slots to be released...way past midnight...
Nothing is ever available...how are we supposed to isolate and not be able to order...”
“Asda management are stupid, they were limiting the number of customers in store in Torquay last week but now they have reverted to letting all customers in, which makes a mockery of social distancing ,and there is no protection for the staff”
“I am a vulnerable person. Unable to place order. I have phone and been left on hold 3 times for one hour with none answering. I have had to give up. Poor on you Asda Ferring.”
“This was my very fist online order, but as I am a elderley vunerable lady I am not allowed to go out, so I decided to use Asda as I know there groceries are always good. I was lucky enough to get 3rd of April about two weeks ago. I have to say everything was excellent. the food stuffs and the delivery driver was really helpful and happy,
I am really impressed and would use again - if I can get a slot!!!”
