“Delivery asda do not listen to complaints. The do not substitute products as required. If they do the eg. Substitute a cucumber for a lettuce.
This is my experience of asda Eastbourne. Frankly they don't give a dam or even call you back to discuss”
“I am not impressed with your customer service you called me before two o’clock today and said that there was a issue with the vans and you asked me if I could come and collect the order I told you I could not as no one can drive in our house for medical reasons,so you said you would call me back to let me know what is happening and when I am going to get my order and you have still not got in touch with me and because of your new system I can not call the store at all my store is Asda Filton I am not impressed with the customer service please call me tonight we are three vulnerable customers and I am a carer for two people In my house and my husband is high risk”
“Ignorant manager Linda who i was told by that my behaviour was intimidating when i was querying why we weren't allowed to purchase fireworks if one of us didn't present ID when I visited this store with my brother; dismissive of the query I was making behind Asdas poor policy logic. Very condescending when we left the store as she waved goodbye with an attitude problem. Male security officer with shoulder length hair and woman at kiosk also both unprofessional and obnoxious. Kiosk woman patronising us about presenting id, speaking to us like we were children, telling us "Of course you have ID(!)" and security on duty giving his input that we were wasting our breath when we asked to speak to a manager and then telling me to calm down when I told him his opinion wasn't what I asked for. Very aggressive tone and body language, acting as if he was protecting Beyoncé on her world tour! Rude unfriendly staff overall. Never returning again!!!
Also, manager Linda quick to make out as if we were intimidating when she herself was behaving rude and playing very tactful games rather than resolving the problem at hand! Shocking behaviour and poorly trained staff.”
“MY BIKE STOLEN at OLD KENT ROAD ASDA! Never expect this happen to me. I chained my bike at the parking area and 30 minutes later the chain cut off my bike gone. There’s no CCTV at the parking area, all video surveillance only for thieve and steals in store (you can imagine it’s the poorest area in London). And the security guys don’t look after parking area at all. I left my bike exactly where ASAD recommends me,but the duty manager contemptuously told me it’s my own risk. SHAME! Real respectful and trustworthy businesses like Waitrose suffers in this great country while ASDA expanding its business and don’t care about the society at all. Totally BAD SHOPS DRIVE OUT GOOD SHOPS.”
“I have found Asda to give the best online shopping service.
Slots are easily available, online service good, drivers friendly and reliable and the only online shop that delivers TV magazines.
I would have given 5 stars but for the following. Why oh why do drivers not wear masks. I live in a high covid risk area. This week a driver, a very nice man I might add was telling me how he had been to three different customers who had covid 19 and how two had not told him until he had been talking to them a good while. It left me very worried as he had been talking to me and was not wearing a mask. Hopefully the mask I was wearing will protect me but surely it is really important for drivers to wear masks, shoppers are told to wear them so what is the difference?
I will see what the next few weeks are like and may have to change to another company if this policy is not changed.”
“Went in to Asda perrybarr rude staff security man Asian with a beard just standing around chatting to a small Asian girl I asked them for help but she rudely told me that she was speaking and couldn’t help me and that u had to wait to be served at the customer service desk she really needs to learn customer skills if they want to flirt they should do it in there own time not in work time will not be shopping in store again Untill the issue is sorted you”
“Placed an order to be delivered on October 3rd, which I then cancelled, the order was delivered anyway which I refused, I immediately called, as Asda had taken the money out of my account, I was reassured a refund would be processed. I called again on the 7th as I still had not received my refund, again I was assured that this will now be processed as It was not requested previously, I was told I would receive a confirmation e-mail and refunded within 4-5 days. On the 16th still nothing, called again only to be told the same thing. I called 4 times on the 23rd as I kept being told the system was down and again reassured that this has now been escalated. Asda have now had my money for 3 weeks, it is the worst customer service I have ever received I dread calling them, as they say that they will action Something But actually don’t, they just seem to want to get you off the phone. When I asked to speak with a manager I was transferred to payroll who could not help me, does anyone have any suggestions of where I go from here please.”
“I'm a long time asda customer now but the choice of goods has gone down but not the price eg Crisps walkers own the market so asda get a good deal but the saving isn't passed on to the shoper you can buy cheaper in most other shops so we do this go's for other products in store too”
“Awful, 75% of the order missing but only informed when it is too late to cancel. Not refunded for days so can’t even do an do the shop in store. Ridiculous system, never have any of these issues when ordering from another supermarket.”
“Asda don't seem to have any stock allocation system for online ordering, they are getting advance orders were they have 2 weeks notice of sales in their database and they are taking this resource and throwing it over their left shoulder for luck, the order gets picked on the day of delivery and you get whats in stock on that day.
The online ordering process is also strange in that when you amend an order that is due for delivery in 9 days the current stock levels are checked and any items that are currently out of stock must be deleted from the order before the amends can be saved, which means you have to amend your order again the following day to put the items back on order that you were forced to remove yesterday while deleting the items that are out of stock today.
There must be a better system than this”

“Well I have been going to Asda in Ashton Manchester every Thursday now so far this year and so far in the last few months and in the last 3 weeks recently I’ve been treated absolutely atrociously. Not only that but I cannot even complain about it because there are conveniently no ways to get in touch! Tried calling the number but it tells me to contact them on the website. I go on the website and it tells me to ring their number! It’s a joke!
Anyway
Here’s what happened specifically. The last story is the worst one of all.
A women cut in front of me in a queue. I let it go but the woman started an argument with me. When staff came they refused to let me have my groceries because they sided with the woman over me even though she was at fault.
I got a pizza slice from the cafe and it was instantly cold because the woman serving me left it out in the cold air whilst continuing to serve me and I was having problems with my fathers credit card to pay. When I asked for a new one or for it to be heated up she actively blamed me for why it went cold. She said it’s because I kept walking away and back again. That was because I had to go get another card in order to pay and you left it out whilst I did so moron!
Then when another woman called Jane came with the rest of our food she openly chastised me for not saying please and thank you as if I were a child! It spoiled my day.
Too many kids screaming and banging the booths in the cafe.
But these were mild in comparison to the final offence. All of this happened 3 Thursdays in a row that I went there.
Today I was there to pick up my very important inhaler from the chemist which i has ran out of and could barely breathe.
One of the chemist staff named Tim mason had taken a dislike to me months ago and it was because of this that the entire staff refused to serve me and told me I had to go get it from somewhere else. So I went mad because now I’d have to spend more money on a taxi and inconvenience myself to go all the way across town to the next nearest pharmacy in concord way when they could’ve just handed me the darn bag right there and then! As you can imagine I was furious! I did write a letter of complaint but have nowhere to post it. Abysmal service.
As you can imagine I shall not be stepping foot nor spending another dime in that terrible store”
“Yet again you have let me down I thought you had sorted out the issue I mentioned in the feedback and reviews but yet again you did not I mentioned about the frozen cauliflower rice bags not in stock and the alternative was wrong but the reason why I though you had sorted it out is that you put on your website cauli original rice so I ordered it and you did have any,and also I ordered kippers and yet again you did not have any and you yet again you did not substitute with smoked haddock like you used to,plus I ordered cod liver oil tablets and you did not deliver any and substituted them with multi vitamin tablets which do not contain cod liver oil at all so yet again bad substitute from you and I am getting to the point what is the point of having Asda delivery saver, and we are vulnerable customers and my husband is high risk and no one can drive in our house and we do not have any people to help us”
“Today I did a click and collect at the Asda store at Horwich Bolton. I feel that I must express my concern at the service I received as I did this due to the fact that I am in my 70s and as i am vulnerable, i am being extremely careful with shopping during Covid 19. My slot was between 4 and 5 and I arrived at 4.05. I was told to wait in the doorway which would have been fine had my order been available to take to my car. However, it wasn't and I waited 15 minutes during which time a flow of people walked past me putting me in a very precarious position. I would have had less contact had I shopped in store. This completely defeated the object of doing click and collect. Surely it would make more sense to have dedicated parking spots close to the store entrance so that staff can bring it out to your car. This would avoid unnecessary contact with both staff and the general public. When I expressed my concern I was told that only 1 customer at a time could be dealt with. Fair enough, I was in no hurry but don't put me at risk by making me stand where every customer exiting the store has to pass me! Its a free service I know but on this occasion I really should have shopped in store so that I could avoid all customers who were in my vicinity. I would rename this 'service click, wait and collect.' It needs revamping drastically as it is currently not as described and I for 1 will not be using it again.”
“Non existent customer service. Cancelled online order but couldn’t be bothered telling us. We phoned them but they said order would come later(it didn’t) Phoned next day and was told we’d get an email to reschedule (we didn’t). Find out eventually that Asda cancelled the order without even contacting us despite them being aware I’m on the vulnerable list.”
“Have to isolate for 2 weeks so placed our first ever online order, time slot was between 5/6 today, it has just been delivered by a pleasant young man who waited for us to unload the crates, I was unsure about ordering online as there are some nasty comments but wouldn't hesitate to use this service again, WELL DONE ASDA and your team.”
“Incredibly awful service. Online order never arrived. No contact from Asda so telephoned customer services who gave a new delivery time that conveniently was exactly the same time as their phone lines closed. Delivery never arrived. Phoned the next day and was promised an email to arrange a new delivery time. Never arrived and looked on Asda online and it said my order was cancelled. No explanation or apology from Asda despite them being aware that I’m on the vulnerable list.”
“I went to my local store at Clacton-on-Sea I thought I get pizza that was made up 2 women behind the counter we're like joined at their hips not a face mask on and standing close to each other and put in food on the pizzas with their bare hands should have gloves on it's like the staff can do what they want as Joe public have to go by the rules so why is ASDA staff different would a shop there again no now the two brothers who have bought ASDA's should check out it's store's where staff do not wear face masks stop the money at the staff wages as they will only do it once”
