“Worst experience ever. Changed my flight without approval, then blamed me that I changed flight on my own with airlines (I wish I could do it!). When wanted to fix the connection, it was a ping-pong game with new excuses every 24h when they promised to contact me and it has never happened. I have a flight in few days, trying to proceed with change for the last 10 days and I was put on hold for another 24h... I dare to say it is SCAM level company to be sued for wasting people time and inappropriate market ethics.”

Having had my return flight final leg cancelled by the airline and having had them send me a note apologising and confirming I was entitled to a refund, I have tried to get in touch with this company but its impossible

“When booking through agents, they will tell you the price may vary based on the exchange rate. But when BudgetAir invoice you, they specific indicate "The following products will be charged directly by the charging companies in the following currencies" (CAD in my case), with this statement, I assume if I pay with CAD Credit Card, there will be no exchange happen.
Assumption is not reliable. Apparently their charging companies don't always charge you in the currencies as they mentioned, exchange happened and you have to pay for extra amount. When I tried to reach out to their customer service, first they directed to Westjet, after that they told me is my bank's problem... At the end, customer service told me, that their website is based in the States, so there is currency exchange and you can hang up the phone now.

After a year trying to get a refund on flights that budget air failed to book I am still waiting.
Emails and phone calls unanswered. And any minimal contact is met by false claims and various excuses.

They send me wrong reservation-id for Ryanair Flight which prevented me in making mandatory online checkin.
It is just impossible to get throught to customer service including the ‘emergency’ phone number.”

Not only did they cancel my booking because of some error on their side (which led to me having to pay double for my flights), they have been dodging my my emails about the refund with multiple different reference numbers. Customer service seems unreachable. Very frustrating.”

They auto-fill booking form fields and they don't give you the chance to check all the details before you submit a booking.
The helpdesk (some call center in India) hardly speaks english and they take days to respond to emails.
