Ordered a pair of Boots in their Sale 4 days ago. Received an email today to say the order has ben cancelled as out of stock. Now I know these things happen but no apology or anything. Bad show Clarks.....would never order from them again.

served by Mags at Greenock. Could not have been more helpful as I was buying for my husband and he was not there!! He's delighted with his casual shoes!!

Clark’s Shoes still falling apart- be warned No refund Shoes Fell apart, hydrolysis apparently, see bbc watchdog report, I thought they had sorted the problem out, but they haven’t, paid over £80 for a pair of shoes that fell apart first time they were worn. Refund? No, exchange? No. Offered a £10 voucher having been sold shoes that were not fit for purpose. As you can see from the response from Clark’s, as the shoes were purchased last winter, more than 12 months ago, they are only prepared to consider a refund if the shoes are under six months old. Check your cupboards and wardrobes for any Clarks shoes you might have put away for later use - even if they're brand new. You may well, find that they're rotting away, crumbling or leaving a sticky gooey mess where you thought there was a nice new pair of shoes. There are thousands of people in the same boat as me just google Clark’s Shoes fall apart To see dozens of examples. There's a well-documented problem with hundreds of thousands of Clarks shoes, caused by their use of unsuitable materials for the soles, this causes them to rot and fall apart, thanks to something called hydrolysis. Problem is, Clarks are doing practically nothing for their unhappy customers, even though they know all about it. If you thought Clarks was a good reputable British company turning out good quality shoes, think again. They're nearly all cheap imports now, sold at inflated prices, and poor quality issues like this are just laughed off by the company, who don't give a damn about the money people have wasted on their expensive self-destructing shoes. Bear that in mind when you're next buying shoes for yourself or your children. Clarks has become all about high prices, poor quality, and high profits - customers come a very poor second. They sell expensive shoes that are not fit for purpose, ignoring their obligations to provide goods that are fit for purpose as they know it is too time consuming and costly to pursue the matter through the courts or trading standard in the U.K under the consumer rights act. My response is to use social media to warn other members of the public of their Poor Customer Care policies and recommend a consumer boycott of their products until they comply with their obligations to their customers.

Terrible customer service which has gone downhill in recent years. Shoes used to be delivered to store free and would arrive two or three days later. Now I pay in advance and a week later nothing has arrived. Nobody even answers the phone when you ring the store. Head Office tells me that no, they still haven't arrived, but miraculously a pair in the right size has shown up in the store (which weren't there when we ordered them) so we can have those. I If I hadn't rung, I presume I would still be waiting this time next week. I don't think they have a clue what they are doing. We used to buy (literally) dozens of pairs of shoes a year from Clarks and I bet we haven't bought more than two or three pairs in the last 12 months.

The only brand where I'm guaranteed value for money. I've bought various others, often more expensive and "stylish" but they nearly always begin to rot/ go to pieces / break up on the inside, sometimes quite quickly sometimes after a few months. Never happened with Clarks, and they are always extremely comfortable. Bought a new pair today.

I received my shoes which were a little too big. I contacted Clarks via their website e-mail option and sent them 3 e-mail and never once was contacted. I tried calling their customer service # and had at least a 30 minute, 18 minute and 15 minute wait time. In their defense, the calls were after the holidays. The last time I opted for the call back which happened but unfortunately I wasn't available to answer the phone when I called back. Too much work involved to get a smaller size.

Three pair of boots.. none of them fit right, even tho’ my usual size.. NO return documents included with my shipment.. needed to call cust service.. was told by recording at onset it would be a 30 min wait .. after listening to “sorry” recording for 20 min, recording then offered me the option to hang up and have them call me back without losing my place in line .. I chose that option.. twice!.. NO ONE ever called me back even after 20 more mins. Had to start over again 3 diff times, each with a 30 min wait time.. using up all my cell minutes. Last time I ever buy Clarks !!

I have never found a retailer so disgustingly terrible at simple service. I ordered shoes. They came in. Too big, threw away the return label, the same email login I used does not state that I ever made the purchase. On top of that I would like a "forbidden exchange" (not like every other retailer does free price adjustments and exchanges). Anyway, left three emails, called two times. Finally on my last call, I made it. I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes (estimates 35 the entire time) only to get put on the phone and get ignored as the ladies chit chatted about their vacations while I was on the line. At this point, I was invested, so I stayed on. 10 minutes passes no one noticed me on the line saying "hello" over and over, and when they did, they hung up. Worst experience ever.

As a group of 7 visitors from Cornwall. We descended on your Blandford Forum Clark’s shop during our Christmas holiday. A delightful lady called Jill Cornick, who was the only member of staff working on New Year’s Day, attended us with the utmost professionalism. She had fantastic knowledge of products available, a wonderful sense of humour and she made it a pleasure to spend time in this store. Clarks should be proud of the commitment and dedication of this member of staff. As a result between us we purchased 4 pairs of footwear.

Ordered shoe NOv. 28. As of Dec. 19th still had not received them. According to my tracking # they were sitting in a warehouse in St. Louis for 2 weeks. I called and the problem was the Fed Ex delivery system. They couldn't seem to get them to our local post office before it closed. So, they tried again and it worked. Very discouraging. Next time either send to the house or by UPS.

Awful customer service, product never delivered and I’ve been waiting on hold for customer service for 3-1/2 hours already, with no resolution in sight. Will never order off their website again.

Horrendous call center and I imagine customer service but how would you know? On hold forever and if you leave your number, you won't "lose your place in line"... hahahaha. They just don't call you back.

I bought the shoes in December 1 in the web site. Today is December 20, 2019, and I still waiting for the delivery. I tried to call them but it’s a 90 minutes waiting, and they just ignore my emails. Bad experience. I wanna my money back since they can’t give me the product. So disappointed. Never came.

Worst customer service ever. Ordered through their store in MD. Upon receipt, the size was too small. Called to return and left phone number for call back and no callback in one week. Called MD store, no help unless I take it physically to the store. Called the number in their email response, wait time 45 minutes and after an hour wait, no response. Worst customer service ever. If you are not located within their store vicinity, it is useless buying from CLARK.

Had a bit of a nightmare with delivery but the customer service team were amazing, spoke to 2 different members of the customer service team and they really went out of the way to help. Long story short they actually refunded the cost of the shoes which was £75.00 So they actually gave me a pair of shoes for free because of little bit of inconvenience. Very happy with that.

Received the Arla Free in khaki. This is a 3 eyelet shoe and Clark’s puts a 45 inch lace in the shoe. You have a nice looking shoe with sloppy appearance. It has happened before when purchasing 3 eyelet boat shoes from Clark’s. They use the same length lace in every shoe. A 45 inch lace looks fine in athletic shoes but not in a 3 eyelet shoe. If you submit a complaint, a return message says they cannot respond. Disappointing ... returning the shoes
