coop food on demand in L12 8QT is totally atrocious several orders placed with confirmation by email of what is going to be delivered only to find items missing on delivery. The lack of reliability is really bad, as is customer service in dealing with the issues. im done with them permanently

Purchased minced pies from Cottingham branch and they were awful. The bottom of the pie stuck to the foil cup and it was a soggy mess

Co-op home delivery is a sub standard service. I've placed several orders with Co-op home delivery directly and also via deliveroo. The first few orders were excellent, but has now become unreliable to the point that the service is no longer usable. Many items are unavailable (often half the order) with no alternatives offered, and several times items have actually been charged for but are missing from the order. I've had to spend time emailing customer services due to their incompetence. No way to report missing items via the app. Would advise others to avoid!

I purchase foods at least 4 days a week from one Coop shop (Wraysbury Staines, UK) as I do not have an alternative nearby. First of all, the prices are too high for the quality of foods they sell and secondly, the customer service is awful. Recently, I had been purchasing a particular fruit from the shop and out of 5 times I purchases, the fruits were rotten 3 times even though they look good from the outside. I talked to one of the managers and he said to me to bring a photo of the damaged fruit the next time if I encounter the same problem. With this reassurance, I purchased on that day too, there again, the fruit was rotten. I took a photo and went to the store a few days later. There was another person dealing with the customers, to who put up my problem. He was not happy to my gentle complaint and started murmuring and refused to look into it. I stood my grounds and thought of utilising my rights and asked for a refund. At that point, the money was not so important to me but passing a message to the management was. Should not they be responsible for the quality of foods they sell to the public? The coop gentleman was rude in his behaviours and body language apart from disrespecting my genuine complaint. After some arguments he finally refunded the money unthankfully and said, he would not care next time. This is an utterly bad and unfair practice. Should the company look into such issues or do they think such are insignificant issues. I will think twice to visit Coop again.

Had to buy roast in the bag as I missed the other shops. Cooked it for an hour, went to turn it and the ass fell off. Haven't eaten it yet but presume that it will be tasteless

It did big time.Bought a roast in the bag chicken at £4.50 as other shops closed just before we got there. Regular chicken should be @£3. Cooked it for about an hour and when I tried to turn it the ass fell off. Complete rubbish

Absolute disgrace of a store they put these stores in the middle of council estates where people struggle financially and charge double on most products and the staff are the most rude staff I have ever come across avoid if possible

Have raised numerous issues from poor staff attitude to staff not knowing how to put through card payments properly in the Birmingham Newhall Square branch. They have a security guard currently who seems to be very homophobic and has verbally assaulted myself and my partner on two seperate occasions! I have logged a formal complaint and subject access request as after spending years during my adolescence, being fearful over my sexuality I refuse to allow me or my partner to be bullied by people! No one should have to tolerate this and any company that allows it should called out for it! If anyone wants to see vids or pics I am considering uploading them.

I hate leaving negative reviews and generally just never again buy a product that has been disappointing as in your tomato ketchup - far too sweet. However, I have just tried you sweet & salty popcorn. Now I love salt, eat far too much of it and even sprinkle it on marmalade on toast. This popcorn is disgusting and the amount of salt in it has set my teeth on edge. Do you have people who actually taste your products? There is nothing on the pack to say where to return it if unhappy and boy, am I unhappy. Also you pasta, spinach & pine nut salad is cloying. I am reluctant to buy any of your own brand products again.

Amazing convenience! Plenty of delivery slots, same day, free, low minimum basket cost. Great tracking. Can’t fault this service. In fact, can’t quite believe how good it is!

Coop Kilgetty, no loaf of any sort available early mornings for a week now, no sultanas or dried milk available for weeks. Every day, early mornings at least, its hit or miss wether you will get what you wish to buy. Not a nice experience over the pandemic.

First I would like to say after buying a food product and not enjoying it, there is no link on the product for a review once on your site for the product! The one in question is the Irisitable Lasagne. Just bland, full of pasta and on serving there was a lasagne sheet on the bottom of the tin! just all pasta and no taste! We have enjoyed the fresh range of lasagne, which at the time was not available. Have now been put off buying any lasagne now, its a shame as we did rate Co-op over a few others.
