Hate to even give a 1!! North Little Rock Arkansas store. Very rude salesperson, all he was worried about what being on his phone, and playing with a basketball, then when asked about a shoe in a wide, his response was some do and pointed to a display and said a couple does, but not some don't. did not show me what ones did.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Política engañosa en las devoluciones de Dick’s Quiero advertir a los clientes sobre una política injusta que viví en Dick’s Sporting Goods. Si haces una compra usando más de una forma de pago (por ejemplo, efectivo y gift card), ten mucho cuidado. En mi caso, pagué $33.14 con gift card y $71.72 en cash. Cuando fui a retornar el artículo, me obligaron a que todo el reembolso fuera en gift card. No importa si pagaste en efectivo, tarjeta o cualquier otra forma: si hay aunque sea $1 pagado con gift card, TODO el reembolso será forzado en gift card. Esto significa que el cliente pierde su dinero real y queda atado a seguir gastando en la tienda, aunque ya no quiera. Lo más grave es que el cajero nunca informa esta política al momento de pagar. El cajero, como representante de la tienda, debería advertir claramente que si combinas una gift card con otro método de pago, al devolver el artículo no recuperarás tu cash ni tu crédito: siempre será en gift card. Esta política es engañosa y poco transparente. El cliente debería tener la opción de recibir su dinero de vuelta en la misma forma en que pagó. 👉 Mi recomendación: si compras en Dick’s, usa una sola forma de pago. 👉 Evita mezclar gift card con cash o tarjeta, porque te obligarán a aceptar gift card en toda la devolución. Misleading return policy at Dick’s I want to warn customers about an unfair policy I experienced at Dick’s Sporting Goods. If you make a purchase using more than one payment method (for example, cash and gift card), be very careful. In my case, I paid $33 with a gift card and $72 in cash. When I returned the item, I was forced to receive the entire refund in a gift card. It doesn’t matter if you paid part in cash, credit card, or anything else: if even $1 was paid with a gift card, the entire refund will be forced back onto a gift card. This means the customer loses their real money and is tied to keep spending at the store, even if they don’t want to. The worst part is that the cashier never informs you of this policy at checkout. As a representative of the store, the cashier should clearly state that if you combine a gift card with another payment method, you will not get your cash or credit back: it will always be refunded as a gift card. This policy is misleading and not transparent. Customers should have the right to receive their refund in the same form of payment they used. 👉 My recommendation: if you shop at Dick’s, only use one payment method. 👉 Avoid mixing gift cards with cash or credit cards, because they will force the entire refund back onto a gift card. A very negative experience that shows Dick’s needs to change its policies and be more transparent with its customers.

am genuinely astonished at the level of incompetence and disregard for customer satisfaction I experienced with a recent online order from Dick's Sporting Goods. This was, without a doubt, the worst online retail experience I have ever had. The order was placed and immediately went into a "pending shipment" status, where it languished for a full four weeks. Four weeks! Not a single update, not a word of explanation. It was as if my order had fallen into a black hole. After a month of waiting, I decided enough was enough and called to cancel the order. A customer service representative, who seemed completely unconcerned, promised me that the cancellation would be processed. I was explicitly told the order would be cancelled. You would think that would be the end of it, but you would be wrong. Instead of the promised cancellation, my order suddenly, miraculously, shipped. It was a bait-and-switch of the highest order. They lied to my face, ignored my request, and shipped the product anyway. This level of operational failure and outright deceit is unacceptable. They held my money for a month, lied about canceling the order, and then shipped it only after I attempted to cut my losses. Never again. I will be taking my business elsewhere and actively encouraging others to do the same. This company has proven it cannot be trusted.

Horrendous online experience. Mucked around for months. Still no product or refund; purchase mid June, it’s heading towards mid September. Incompetent and dishonest.

They cancelled an order I made almost two weeks ago. Kept my funds, and won't return them. When I called representative said 7 business days, and that it was up to my bank. I called my bank to find you all hadn't even processed a refund at all and that you all can hold my funds for 30 days. Now that's just Wicked!!

Had a great experience in the shoe department and thru out the store today at the Schaumburg Il location. Everyone is very helpful and responsive rarely seen anymore. Jeremy West went above and beyond today and I appreciate his efforts. Thanks Dicks I will be back.

Tried to use a virtual coupon that had no restrictions on it but was told the manager Jennifer told the employees that the local store did not have any coupons out so they are not to honor any coupons customers have. This is not the first time the Joliet store has not accepted the coupons that work at other stores because the store manager Jennifer does not accept these coupons.

Horrible experience three times now! I went yesterday, after the last time saying I would never shop there, to be disappointed yet again. I was looking for On Clouds shoes because my job requires I stand for 8 hours a day. I asked an employee for a size in the On Clouds to which he promptly said no. Didn’t even check but ok. I asked which style they carried in the size I was looking for. He immediately responded None. He said “ we don’t get many shoes for real here”. So you’re telling me you have all the shoes on display to entice customers to buy them but you don’t really have them? So I moved on to a different brand. He says right away “we probably don’t have those” I had to ask him to please check. Begrudgingly he did and they did have them. I continued to look around at some shoes I wanted to get for everyday use. This time I asked a different employee. I asked if she had the Sambas I had been eyeing. Without even asking which size she automatically replied No. I said “ok how about these New Balance”.. answer No. at this point I was done. She never even attempted to look. Dicks why have all these shoes if you don’t have them? The previous time I was shopping at Dicks I waited an hour and a half for a pair of shoes to be brought out and the employee who I politely reminded was to get the shoes mumbles under his breathe “that B:$!@ should get her own shoes”. So long story short Dicks Sporting goods has no actual inventory and the worst employees. I am truly never shopping there again!

Dicks at the chapel hills mall in Colorado Springs has some scamming, lying managers. I bought a bunch of pre-workout that said 17.97. They manager went to check the price then returned got on the register and told me I got the discounted price. I didn't check the receipt until outside the store. They charged me 23.98 per container. I have pics of everything. Do better dicks. We don't all have fat pockets like you.

does not help the customer. sports academy and hibbets both helped me with my scorecard and even added more money when they didn’t have too. went above and beyond for me. having a minor expired scorecard they gave me no money back. i forgot money expired. i’ll go back to hibbets hope this helps

I wanted to exchange a river tube at Ridgedale Mall. The tube is supposed to be sturdier than a regular pool tube. It lasted 1/2 hour in my pool before it deflated due to a seam that was sealed improperly. The manager said I put it in the water so I cannot exchange it or get my money back. He did not communicate with me just through his associate. I am also in retail and I know product can come in defective and I know you need to take care of your customer if the exchange is legit. Very disappointed… They got to keep the tube and my money.

Our family had a horrible experience at Dick's tonight. My 10-year-old son desperately needed to use the restroom, and a kind employee at the front desk said she would help. We were then met by an employee at the restroom who was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. He smugly told us the restroom was closed and absolutely refused to let my son in, even as I begged him. My son was on the verge of tears. The sheer lack of empathy from this employee was stunning. We were so angry and disgusted by his behavior that we walked out and took our business elsewhere. It's truly a shame that one person's poor attitude can ruin a shopping experience, especially when it involves a child. We will never be shopping at Dick's again.

My son an myself went there to purchase a treadmill, the store manager of the salisbury store, Travis, helped us tremendously, we truly went above an beyond to make sure we were happy an that included bringing bunnies cables outside to my vehicle to try them out, so I wasent spending more money for nothing. Travis truly is an asset to the store if not for him, I dont know what we would have done, a big thank you to Travis, awesome job!

It is sad to see the lack of customer service at dick’s. Three employees were gathered together ignoring all customer requests. when I inquired where something was a woman who turned out to be a manager named Joanne at the Roosevelt Field store in Garden City, New York waved in the general direction of Fitness equipment and said “it’s over there.” She clearly had no interest in me finding it. Once I couldn’t find it I went back. They were still chatting and I interrupted with the news that I couldn’t find it. so she said well I guess we don’t have it. She did not offer to help me find it online and grudgingly said she’d send someone over to help me look. Unfortunately that person was busy with another customer. And then they wonder why we order things from Amazon.

JUSTIN WAS AWESOME!! After spending an entire wasted day on the telephone with incompetent IRS agents, and then trying to get a simple one page form from my husband's insurance company, plus another failed attempt to get one of my own insurance claims filed correctly, it was so refreshing to have a SMILING, PLEASANT human being actualy help you in Dick's store, in the flesh. DUSTIN patiently brought me 3 pairs of shoes, then waited on other people, and checked back while I dawdlled and wandered around the store testing them out and searching for my husband to give his opinion. (He had abandoned shopping, as usual, and gone out to the car, even in a heat wave.) I ended up buying the first pair he brought, and look forward to starting running again. Justin is a breath of fresh air and an asset to Dick's. I recommend him for a promotion or raise, as he knows his shoes as well as how to talk to customers. Good job at hiring a SUPER customer service employee. What a rare find these days!!
