“Etsy is horrible ! Both for buyers and sellers ! Etsy charge almost 20% from Sellers. And so many hidden fee ! It's hard for any sellers to make the money in Etsy ! And no protection and customer services ! There is no phone number , no address , no E-mail ! Go Amazon or somewhere else. Etsy is the worst ! ! Beware everyone !”

“I, too, have tried to contact someone from this company. Its impossible to get help. My merchandise came out of their bags, one of my plumeria cuttings being curled and defective. I sent pictures and complained about the lack of proper attention to packaging, no instructions and poor quality of merchandise. Nothing has been done nor has there been any communication. Do not use this company unless you have money to burn.”

“NOT HAPPY...my account has been compromised for the 2nd time (from my account for purchasing) And when I've had others buy me a gift certificate from Etsy as a gift..there bank account gets hacked as well. 2 times in one year. So 4 times of accounts compromised in less than one year. I am done buying from Etsy. Which I am really bummed. I was a good customer. Now i will no longer purchase anything any longer”

“I ordered funeral jewelry from ETSY seller online. Nothing was received even though the tracking number said delivered. I assume it was delivered to the wrong address. I had my building check the cameras and for the time frame it states it was delivered, nothing was delivered to my box. I have contacted ETSY and the seller multiple times and no response has been received... I feel wronged and this is very very poor customer service and fraud. I have started a dispute with my bank but I feel like I need to report this incident as it is incredibly disturbing that such a large company doesn't care and that there is no recourse for buyers.”

“I ordered a "welcome baby" stork made by Milano's of New York, it arrived in 2 weeks and it is beautiful! Very nice table centerpiece for the baby shower. Thank you Milano's, I am very impressed!”

“terrible don't buy from etsy We bought masks from this place and was all in pieces with glue spots. We were like who is allowed to sell this junk. We just tossed the masks and will never buy from this company again...SAD”

“Scandalous!! I ordered 3-4 times on Etsy, different sellers, a really cheap ring presented as silver rusted after two days (In France) soaps which were actually samples ( In Greece) a wig that did not look at all like the photo (UK) In short, avoid if you don't want to throw your money out the window!”

“Purchased a £8.41 face mask. Took a month to send and then received a £11.59 import tax charge and import tax handling fee. Do not use this site without know hidden charges. Will not pay tax and item returned.”

“I buy and sell on Etsy, love it -- In the past months I've ordered fabric, elastic etc from about 10 sellers, and everything was as described and got to me so quickly. I also sell handmade items on Etsy -- and as I provide great customer service, so far so good. I would suggest to BUY FROM YOUR OWN COUNTRY when possible -- when I'm searching for items there is a filter to show ONLY RESULTS from US. Also, I only sell to U.S. customers, this way I avoid a lot of shipping issues both buying and selling. Buyers who look for cheapest items from overseas, for example China or India are possibly going to be disappointed with quality or shipping delays. (I do sometimes buy from overseas, but I am knowingly taking a risk.) Every seller has feedback, look at it before buying -- also make sure to read descriptions -- some items are made to order or take longer to process, this info will be in the detailed descriptions.”

“We order chalk board from seller AshleyMullerDesigns for my son 1 st birthday, After taking order no response if seller would able to make it or not , if seller cannot able to shipped item on time than it has to Be inform in right time so buyer can order from somewhere else I order something for my son birthday, Birthday has passed but no respond from seller,not even giving any answer to all my massages at end I massage her to cancel the order and she did it right away , If seller cannot commit than they have to Inform buyer in timely manner , very unresponsive and The item seller mention delivery time frame 72 hours Since it’s digital copy I suppose to receive after a week passed she refund money.its takes seller 288 hours to cancel order without any answer or cause of delay this Type of sellers should not be In Etsy.looks Like unhonest seller,Etsy don’t give option to review for product since It is cancel due to seller unresponsive attitude and not deliver on time.”

“DO NOT RELY YOUR BUSINESS ON ETSY Not a reliable platform for sellers AT ALL. They have repeatedly suspended accounts with NO communication highlighting the reasons. We have to raise a couple of cases but every single one remained unresponsive and marked completed after 10 days. Yet, no response received from them. We tried to call them but not successful. It is so shocking that they have withdrawn the amount for listing the products when the account is suspended and no one responds. It would be good to know at least the reason as to WHY? I read people's account suspended after 13 years of selling and no reason. This is ridiculous. Watch your self as to where you are spending your limited resource. All your efforts may disappear and no reason.”

“S from Etsy's Marketplace Integrity team abuse and threaten small/newer seller. He suspend my shop and threaten me do not open any new accounts at Etsy, they will be closed immediately and without notice! This is very hurtful! If I have different hobbies and loves brings things to people, he himself closed the whole Etsy door to me completely! He did not listen or read any of my explains, not patient! Not nice at all! Compared to Amazon customer service, Etsy should not have someone like him as an employee. Etsy is a platform between buyer and seller, not GOD to decide the death or life! He is overpowered! If seller needs edits or amendments, it's should be doable! Not just closed without a word! Or not just shut him off forever! Who gave him a right like a GOD? You say I did not make the products myself, but I designed it most of them. Handmade is handmade! It's not means just leave there then machine finished all! And also on ETSY at least 50% did not make or design themselves. They are selling thousands of them, made a fortune by years. Where is your eyes? How you did not see it? He doesn't have any knowledge about production! In his knowledge, all the handmade masks is just produced at kitchen by housewives. Not knowing products need to be better quality, nicer and more reasonable price with time going on! He doesn't know anything, but just want to use his "Right" to act like a GOD at Etsy!”
