AVIOD AT ALL COSTS... Sent my brand new Samsung Watch 3..bought in February 2021..sent to them April 2021..Same as the other reviews..sent my watch on a Tuesday took them 10 days to even book it into their 'warehouse' then a further 7 days for the engineer report to say the battery was faulty that the watch charges but the screen is blank..sent the Watch back minus box and charger..soon as I opened the returned watch I knew straight away it wasn't mine..the wrist strap was a different colour/size and had been clearly worn as it was dirty when I had cleaned mine and took pictures before sending as the website states..the company denied all this of course but little did they know I have ADHD and highly autistic and document absolutely everything and by the pictures you can see the serial numbers on my original watch don't match the one sent back to me..had to pay £30 twice..once for the watch to be returned and another £30 for my box and charger which they took upon themselves to not send back in the first place..I also will taking legal action on this matter..AVOID AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD

Same as the other reviews really wish I checked reviews first. Got an offer for my iPhone 11 Pro Max of £575 sent phone in and got a revised offer of £450 saying there was a scratch and an issue with the camera. I knew this wasn’t true and requested they send it back without any damage and free of charge as stated on their site (I saw people were being charged £30 to return) Got the phone back to find a new long scratch at the top of the screen. Sent the same phone to another company who offered £550, I got the £550 offer within 24 hours of them getting the phone (they got it on a sat I got paid today Monday in full) Avoid at all costs in terms of selling. This company do however have a good rep if you are buying…. I wonder why? I think they rip people off, people in less financial stead than some accept the decreased offer and this company make a massive profit. That’s my thoughts Other company didn’t mention any issues with my phone, not even the scratch this company did before returning! No camera issue! AVOID!

If I could give less stars I would. Hopefully any potential customers will read these reviews and STOP doing any business with these cowboys! How they have managed to trade for so long is beyond me. Sent my iPad Pro after being offered an acceptable price, sent with box and charger, all in excellent condition. Got an email saying after careful examination by their 'engineer' there are deep scratches to screen and also screen burn and offered me a quarter the original price offered. After asking them to return my item they then raised their offer by £20. I told them to return my item, which they did, minus the box and charger! PLEASE, DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

SCAM sent in pristine IPad, report came back it was badly bent in half. Offered £20! Asked for photos, sent me badly blurred imagine showing nothing. Challenged again, report went to bend down middle. Insisted on it being returned. It’s back, no bend, slight dent which is new. Complete scam DO NOT USE THEM.

Update to my previous review regarding my S10. It has now been returned with scratches on which were not there when the phone was sent in. Please contact BBC Watchdog and report them as I have before too many other people get caught out by this scam. https://www.bbc.co.uk/send/u23123288

Absolute joke! Sent my Samsung galaxy watch to them on 25/4/21.. waited for contact from the engineer and nothing, I emailed 3 times before I got a response... I then got an email saying my bank details were wrong, so sent another email with the bank details again 4/5/21... this morning ( 5/5/21) emailed to ask for confirmation and my money! Terrible service in all aspects... would avoid at all costs!

Why oh why did I not do my research properly and read these reviews first??? I was offered £238 for my S10. Sent it in Friday. Got an 'engineers report' on Tuesday stating there was damage to casing, a significant scratch on the screen and the battery was in poor condition. New offer £140! The phone has had a high quality protective screen on it since day 1. It has been housed in a genuine Samsung flip case (which I sent it in with). The battery lasted without any drama. I have told them that I completely disagree and would like my phone returned. I am awaiting their response. Avoid at all costs. Likely to have wasted a couple of weeks.

What a con! Was offered £210 for a 'working' iPhone SE 2020 64gb, which was described on the site as needing to be in full working order, with only minor signs of use, as my phone was. Packaging arrived swiftly and was easy enough to use so packed my phone off and waited with anticipation to receive the funds. Very very disappointed therefore to receive a reduced offer of £130 from them on receipt and inspection of the phone saying it was scratched and scuffed on the casing. This was not the case at all and I'd kept photos and sent them to them to evidence this and asked that they either make a reasonable offer in line with the original quote or send the phone back to me. They insulted me yet again at that point by increasing the offer by £10. I suspect this is how they make their money, ie come up with the best quote for a phone so people choose them but they actually have no intention of paying out that amount. The quote was not given on the basis that the phone was brand new/unused, it was for a used phone in good working condition, so why make such an offer if the only way of getting that price in reality is if the phone is still in a sealed box. Its a big con to win your business! And oddly now I have received my phone back after rejecting their ridiculous offer it does have a scratch on the screen at the top which wasn't there when the phone was sent and is not visible on the photos I took. How strange!

It’s a scam... After having my device for nearly 2 weeks they emailed their ‘engineers report’ that basically said they identified a scratch and therefore knocking 28% (£77) off the price they offered! I think their entire business model is dependant on soft people agreeing to their significantly reduced prices for ease. I bet they’ve never ever paid the advertised price for a phone. This should be better regulated.

Honestly wish I see these reviews. Was offered £450 for my good condition iPhone 11 Pro. No cracks and minimal scratches. Battery life was 99%. I send my phone of to them they then come back to me saying it has extensive scratches and partially cracked plus battery is un USABLe. They then offer me £300. This company is a SCAM. I had taken pictures before sending my phone to them so you can see they have purposely scratched it to buy it for less. Don’t waste your time with this scam company. If I could vote 0 stars I would. As you can see in the pic they have added two huge huge scratches.

Same as everyone else I was offered a good price. My phone was in pristine condition, only selling because I upgraded to a newer one. Phone was in perfect condition when sent and bam.. scratched screen?? Don’t think so mate it was never once scratched. But I gotta accept the offer because the alternative is they will deliberately scratch my screen and send it back so it looks like they weren’t lying eh! My next upgrade won’t be going through this company.. your loss in the long run.

I bought an iPhone from Ireland and got landed with a €95 customs duty bill. They told it was written in the fAQ’s section that I should have looked. It took me a long time to find the info. When I did locate it, it was extremely vague. I will be returning my item.

As per previous, tried selling my Samsung s10+ offered £220. Hadn't read reviews and boom instantly they halved my quote to £109 (the old LCD screen bleed again) Asked for phone back and have recieved..They are basically chancers their whole business model revolves around hooking you in with best price and then hoping you can't be assed to argue and sell them your phone at the massively reduced price which they then sell on at a more than tidy profit. Utter scammers avoid!!

Wish I has seen all these reviews before, they offer a great price to suck you in, then surprise surprise the 'engineer' finds a fault internally with an LCD bleed! The phone was in perfect condition when it was sent, in their own packaging they sent me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This was the email.... Clearly a generic one the send A LOT Dear Customer Thank you for sending your device. Unfortunately, we have found the condition selected does not match the actual condition of the device we have received. Please see our report from our engineers. Engineer Report Notes: Other: LCD bleeding This does affect the condition of the device and the value of recycling. With careful consideration, we have revised the original quote to £40 Please note we require you to email back for the funds to be released stating bank information such as sort code and account number is correct and that you would like us to proceed with the recycle. If we do not hear from you within the next 14 days. We will take this as your acceptance for your device to be recycled. For more info please refer to our terms and conditions. Kind regards

They lie about the condition of the phone and offer a reduced price. They did this to my wife at the same time. Here was my response to their comment of deep scratched and chips on the case. “ This is a lie and an absolute scam, you did this to my wife last week. Please return the phone in the exact condition it was sent. I have a video and photos of the exact condition that I will be posting across all social media. Alternatively you could just honour your commitment.”

Just had an email from this handtec offering me 100 pound less than the quote given. My iPhone XS was in nearly perfect condition. I had taken photos before sending the the phone as a precautionary. I will be taking legal action against this company if they don’t either return my phone or pay the amount promised.

PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS This company received my Apple iPad and all that was wrong with it was the battery. My iPad was perfect in every other way their reply was “thank you for sending your device. Unfortunately,we found the condition selected does not match the actual condition of the device we have received. Our engineers report notes : the screen has been replaced- fake parts, screen cracked and housing damaged on the corners- iPad is bent and offered me £5 . This company needs someone to look into the bad way it is run and will notify the trading standards or a department that deals with such a bad and illegal way it is run

Gutted I was stupid enough to use this company after it gave the highest price for my used iPhone 8 on a comparison website. Was quoted £195 for the handset which is in very good used condition, then this was reduced down to £60 after an “engineers report” found multiple issues with the phone - screen discolouration, 81% battery life (which under their terms means it needs a new battery due to it being under 85% - mine was actually sent away with 87% battery), deep dent to frame, fake screen??, scratches to screen, chip to camera, the list goes on...needless to say, my phone had none of these issues when I sent it off. Luckily I have about 50 close up photos of it and an expired eBay listing detailing its condition incl battery life etc as had it on eBay for a couple of weeks before deciding to sell to handtec as I thought I’d make a bit more money. I’ve requested my phone returned to me and if it comes back in a different condition to when I sent it off I’ll be taking these jokers to court along with all the pictures etc I have of the phone, just thankful that I have evidence of the phones condition before it was sent to them. Avoid at all costs, recycle with mazuma mobile instead
