I think these companies they comes more like scammers. They don't care . And I have hard proof. Is not to pick to Lidl. It was my best shopping weekly. But now I know what we deal with. Scammers.

Fantastic Staff Fantastic Service Upperton Road Lidl Leicester We would like to express our special thank you to the staff at the Upperton Road Lidl, Leicester, for their hard work and the excellent service they have provided to our community. The staff are:- Veronika - A simple "Hello!" from her goes a long way. Her gesture is very welcoming and relaxing. Thanks, Veronika.Isaac - A very, very helpful young man especially to senior shoppers and of course, to all other customers needing assistance. We do appreciate your kind consideration.Keep up with your good work. Thank you, Isaac. Sarah - She has a pleasant, affective smile which radiates warmth. It relaxes us and makes our shopping at Lidl stress free! Thank you, Sarah.Raf - Not afraid to go on his hands and knees and ensure the shelves are well stocked. Raf also has a sincere and caring customer approach. For example, if he sees an elderly customer needing assistance. Raf wasted no time to offer his help by ensuring a checkout counter is readily available to serve them. Thank you, Raf for your kind consideration which is very well received. David - Very helpful and very organised. He has a methodical work approach, rotating stock and replenishing the shelves. David is also quick to prioritise a situation. His preparedness and mannerism helps to give a very efficient service and saves time. For example, if he observed a build-up of customers queuing. He has no hesitation to open the checkout counter to avoid keeping customers waiting. That's fantastic! Thanks, David. Erika - I accidentally dropped a jar of sauce near the checkout. Erika not only quickly cleaned up the mess but also replaced the jar of sauce! Erika's Safety First approach tells me that she is naturally a very caring and kind person and that's very reassuring. She also helped me numerous times to scan my Lidl Plus card. Thank you, Erika.Khadeeja - She, too, has no hesitation in cleaning up any mess or damp on the floor. Safety First approach is great. Thank you, Khadeeja for your speedy and caring action. It's very much appreciated.  Olivia - Always busy with the oven! Baking and more baking! We wouldn't like to be in her position on a hot summer day. But then, keep going, Olivia! We love your bread and cakes. You keep all of us very happy, indeed. Well Done!  Jay - Saturday is always a busy day for shoppers at Lidl. Jay's rapid and good organisational skill to cope with on-the-spot demand for service is great. For example, Jay will call out for his colleagues to the checkout to serve queuing customers and he, too will do the same with serving the customers. Thanks, Jay.Robin - Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about the product Lidl has in store. If you can't find what you are looking for. Find Robin and he is sure to help you! Thanks, Robin, for taking care of your customers. Grant - Always friendly and cheerful and ready to help.No job is too small for him. Thanks, Grant.Liam - Another great staff member who will go over and beyond his call of duty to help his customer even though he was on his way out of the store after the end of his shift. Liam never turns any customer down should they ask for his assistance. Thanks, Liam.Sabesan - Always rotating the stock before refilling the shelves. If anyone should ask Sabesan for help, he will stop whatever he is doing and waste no time to assist the enquirer. Thanks, Sabesan. Robert (Security Guard) - Quietly spoken man but very efficient in his patrol in the store. He is also very observant and very vigilant in his watch. He gives us a sense of feeling safe while shopping in the store and that's very reassuring. Thank you, Robert. The staff at the Upperton Road Lidl has always been very friendly, helpful.and professional at all times. It is their behaviour and mannerism that encourages us time and again to continue to shop at the store. Thank you once again, EVERYONE!

I did a shop and forgot my phone with the app on it spent over £50 contacted customer service who would not put this amount on my Lidl plus account even after adding the receipt. Crafty. So they don’t have to give you the payment bonus. So make sure you have yr app or they won’t pay up

I bought a garden hose recently and thinking that I wouldn't have s problem with it I threw away the receipt. Unfortunately the connector didn't fit my tap and I am unable to get my money back. Be careful what you buy!

Lidl is my “to go” shop every week. Never been experiencing “big” issues , usual gaps in availability , long queues- I understand all that in the current times. But what happened to being kind? Recently the staff has changed in my local Lidl In Ockendon and two members are particularly arrogant. I wish I’d know they names cause going there every week I see that it’s not an occasional accidental rudeness they show it’s the way the are. Indian guy always restocking shelves, so so rude and arrogant. He’ll push you , your trolley without a single word. Once thought it was and accident , second time I ignored him, but now again this is just out of order? I work in retail myself and this person clearly shouldn’t be there as clearly he is just hating it and takes it on people. Another “dream worker” is the slim girl on the till with the messy pony tail- she normally restocks meat and then she’s on till most of the time. You can tell her hello as much as you want , I go extra mile to try and make a small talk as it is just awkward, common, girl you gotta provide a basic hello and goodbye to people. I understand Lidl is affordable but does this now mean we can be treated like rubbish? Those two really making me not want to come back to my local store. Everyone else are lovely especially the security and tall gentleman on till (i think his name is Steven) Dear Lidl please provide some basic training on customer service to your team. 👍

I am only making a valid complaint in a very isolated area and is no reflection on how I would rate Lidl generally. The current re-labelled Golden Goose Ale has dropped from a reasonable 4.5% to what I believe is the same Golden Ale peddled by Aldi at 4.1% ABV. Golden Goose was a fine medium to strong golden ale on a par with Hobgoblin Gold but has been reduced by 0.4% probably by commissioning Marstons to create the same mediocre ale sold at Aldi and does not fool anyone. If serious about competing with Aldi, Lidl should have left the Golden Goose Ale at 4.5% ABV and charged a pound for it. I will not buy the weaker version and rather pay ten pence more for the IPA at 5% ABV.

My brand new boots were damaged on entering the newly renovated store at Handforth, having sent photos of my footwear and as requested Posting my boots to customer services - also suggesting they repair the faulty entrance matting to avoid anyone else tripping I was sent a form to claim the cost of my boots - this started in November 2020. Now 5 months have passed, numerous weekly phone calls to customer services - I am now without boots or compensation. Customer services blame the Accounts Department so have had no option but to raise a case with the Small Claims Court. It is apparent customer care is not a priority at Lidl - I now intend to be loyal to another brand. Very disappointing.

Over half of a bunch of roses bought for special occasion (£24.99) had withered or died 2-3 days later. Contacted customer services who after answering initially, asking for receipt details etc, which I sent, ignored any further correspondence. Customer satisfaction non existent. Dreadful!

During this pandemic, Lidl’s have not given a care to customer safety in my local, Richmond store. Nobody checks if people are wearing masks or socially distancing. They really are disgraceful. I was sworn at and threatened by two young men refusing to wear masks yesterday. They were mocking a lady for looking nervous. I’ve heard of several people experiencing abuse and intimidation during this pandemic at our North Yorkshire store.
