“So the purchase was fine no problems turned up when they said however the delivery driver hit my gate with forklift and destroyed it. Buggered off but didn’t have the decency to tell me in the mean time I am left with a £600 bill for a new set of gates”

Hi Peter, we haven't heard anything from either you or the hauliers regarding this matter. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any information you would like us to look at. It sounds strange that the driver could hit your gate and ruin it without anyone noticing at the time of delivery.

“My first experience of this firm: I would use them again without hesitation. Local shortages/delivery delays led me to use them. Easy to order, competitive prices, faster delivery time than local builders' merchants. In the event, there was a problem on the day with the courier service they use: I was informed promptly by "Rob at OI Ltd" with delivery rescheduled to the following morning. As a bonus this was with a lorry kitted with a fork-lift truck which positioned stock exactly where it was needed (saving me hours!).”

“Best price I could find for PIR insulation. It was a free delivery as over 350GBP. I requested the 23rd of September and it arrived in perfect condition on the day. I was contacted ahead to inform me about the delivery time slot and I could track the vehicle on the day. This was perfect in every way. I had my insulation within 3 days of my order.”

“I am yet to receive my goods! If it goes on any longer I will be demanding a full refund. I stayed in all day on my ‘delivery date’ and gave up on opportunities to earn money. I called the company 10 times without any joy and also sent emails. I still do not know when my goods are going to arrive. It was my first time using this company, and it will be my last. Their communication has been appalling. I strongly suggest you purchase your goods from another company who value their customers.”

Hi Martin, thanks for your review. As mentioned in our email and on the telephone to you, we were let down by our distributors on this delivery and we had not been informed ourselves of any delay to your delivery. Until we got the email from you at 5pm on the Friday, we had no idea that there was an issue, and this email was not read until 9am on the Monday morning when we open for business. Unfortunately we also did not answer your telephone calls whilst we were closed and this is why you could not reach us. We spoke to our distributor first thing on Monday morning and they were due to call you to firstly give a reason as to why the delivery was not made but also to arrange a suitable delivery date for yourself. We are sorry that this has taken longer to resolve than it should have and sorry for any issues that this has caused you.

Hi Mark, thanks for your review. The reason the you could not contact us is that you were calling outside of our office hours. You followed up with an email at 9.02am (when we were open) and this was promptly replied to. Your delivery was made in full yesterday (26.09.22) and we have not heard from you since. We hope your project all goes well

“Easy to order and good price. Able to choose the delivery date I wanted and the delivery arrived on that day. The driver even offered to help me unload the pallet, which was appreciated. The only reason I dropped a star was because I would have liked confirmation the day before or on the day that the delivery was actually going to happen. Having been let down so many times by other companies, the lack of confirmation after the receipt was issued, made me a bit anxious. I would definitely recommend.”

“Excellent price and service. Did plenty of price research before placing my order with Online Insulation. Their prices were the best! Delivery arrived on the specified date. The consignment was well packaged and arrived undamaged. The driver was excellent and helped me get it all into my garage. Well done! Will be placing another order soon.”
