A gazebo 14' by 10' ,made out of wood, that sells at home depot and Lowe's for $2000 plus iiiiitttttt was advertised for $89 n Overstock... I put in credit card information and it said it was declined I have a $3000 balance I triple check my information this is a scam website !!!!! I called customer service and it sounded like they were in India literally and didn't understand a single English word i said....my family is DONE with overstock for now forever for good and I will spread the news.... It's like playing the lottery you know you see the jackpot you get your hopes up you get all excited and then bam you're the fool for wasting your money that they won't even let you spend

0 stars Leather sofa ordered, paid for May 4, 2021 - $2,215.03 (today is August 27 - over 16 weeks later) Followed up several times on delivery status, told to be patient takes 12 to 16 weeks to manufacture/ship. Checked Overstock website again last week and the sofa description had a new notice "order soon, only six left in stock". Surprised since I had previously been told that each sofa was made only upon receiving an order. Yesterday my PayPal account was credited for purchase amount, but no explanation from Overstock other than "order cancelled" on my account. After a frustrating call to a representative, there really is no explanation other than they cannot fulfill the order. No one from Overstock tried to call, text or contact me, only reason I found out was because my payment went through PayPal. Terrible, nonexistent Customer Service, and no business ethics. Overstock accepted $2,215.03 for merchandise, after over a four month wait, they did not even have the common courtesy to notify me that they could not fulfill their obligation? DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING from Overstock - no respect or appreciation for customers. They do not deserve your business.

I recently purchased ~$10,000 in furnishings for my new home which included a $1,500 King mattress. Upon receiving the mattress, I lied down on it and realized that it was too tall for my platform and too soft for my liking. My request for a refund was rejected because Overstock.com policy states the following: "You will only qualify for a full refund for damaged or defective mattresses, mattress sets, or foundations if you refuse the item(s) at the time of delivery. If damage/defects are found after delivery, please notify us immediately." It is impossible to know that you will like furniture simply by viewing it on a website. Furniture is used in our living spaces and therefore, we can only know if it meets our needs if we "experience" it in our living space. Overstock.com fails to realize this important fact and therefore, I will never waste another dollar with them.

Buyer beware, worst purchase experience I have ever had. I only wish I could of given it 0 stars but the system would not allow it. Ordered a entertainment center only for it to arrive damaged. They offer a hundred dollar return. Who wants a damaged 600.00 entertainment center. I can buy that on Craigslist. Over two months later and multiple missed pick up's I am still trying to get a refund. I have moved this large box back n forth now 4 times in and out of the house. It's amazing that they have made so many mistakes and not yet apologized and returned the money that was paid. All I keep hearing is we will pick it up. They can't even do that right. Go purchase your stuff somewhere else. Not worth it trust me

I ordered a four piece bedroom set. The set delivery date was set for July 22. The bedroom set arrived with a missing nightstand. I called overstock and I was told to give 24 hours for CEVA to call me to schedule a delivery, they had my missing nightstand in their facility. Since today, no one has called me and my calls and attempts have been unsuccessful. My options are refunding me for the nightstand or send me a new nightstand. They refuse to provide any type of customer service. I will never shop here again.

So frustrated... I ordered a table and chair set in June of this year. The set delivery date was set for June 28. Cool. June 28 came and went. I was never told I had to contact a logistics company to set a delivery date... cool. I contacted CEVA and set a date of July 1. Fine. July 1 came and went. I called both overstock and CEVA no one knew where my table was. I was told to give 72 hours for CEVA to find the table which happened to be July 4th holiday. So had family from out of town and NO table and chairs. Gave them over 72 hours no call and no table. Called this week, since they cant locate the table they are not willing to send me another table because they are worried about me receiving 2 tables. My options are refunding me half of the set and when they find the table refund me the other half. I don't understand this! Completely ridiculous. I paid for a table, just send me one! Or offer me a FULL refund! I'm so over this company. I will NEVER buy from them again!

Overstock lack of response & professional service Overstock Order # 33629XXXX Serta Luxe Edition Grandmere Plush Pillowtop 14-inch Hybrid Mattress Lets review this order dilemma so that we have accurate information. (copies of email correspondence is attached at the bottom) Placed the order on Overstock.com on April 1, 2021 Money was taken off my credit card on April 1, 2021. On May 21st, (over 50 days later) I contacted Overstock questioning why I had not received the product, and had never heard from anyone. On May 21st, Elsie V. in customer care acknowledged my request. On May 22nd, rep. York replied and said it would take him 3-4 days to figure it out. 5 days later on May 27th, John J. an Escalations Specialist replied that they tried to reach me at an old number and needed a current number to contact me to set up delivery. On May 27th, I responded with my mobile number that was already attached to my account. I questioned why they had not emailed me. 3 days later on May 30th, Michelle P. an Escallation Specialist II, replied that I had given them the old number when I ordered. Since that number was disconnected a year prior, that could not be accurate. On June 4th, John J. an Escalations Specialist responded saying that the carrier had my new number and would contact me within 2-3 business days. It is now June 14, 10 days after promising me 2-3 days contact, and 75 days after placing the order and I have still not heard anything. My thoughts on Overstock.com and their specialists, and complete lack of professional service: They were quick to charge my credit card the full amount (April 1st), and notify me that the status was “shipped awaiting tracking update” (April 1st). That obviously was a lie. But used to justify charging my card immediately. And then Overstock did nothing. I ship and receive many items and have NEVER had a shipper have to call me to set up a delivery. Most supply email updates, but your specialist claims that “Our partners & the carriers they use will not contact you by email under normal circumstances as they will always make attempts to reach you by phone.” NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES? Would you say that not doing anything for almost 2 months is normal circumstances? Does this fall under non-professional service? Probably more like absurd service. When I gave them my other contact number you responded saying that I would be contacted in 2-3 days. That response was already 9 days after I had given you my number on May 27th. Under these circumstances, I would expect a professional organization to have contacted the supplier and requested that they contact me immediately! It has taken 4 different representatives to accomplish very little, to nothing so far. Instead it appears they are doing their best to dodge any responsibility. This falls under the worst customer service of any company, and complete lack of professionality. ADDENDUM: 80 days after order product was delivered! Overstock's response was basically to detail the order process almost identically to my complaint. They finished by saying the order would be delivered. They gave me the carriers phone contact so I could call them! They wanted me to do their job! One they found almost impossible to do. They acted as though that was normal. How long would it have taken if I had not followed up continually? In all my correspondence, Overstock has never addressed the fact that they took my payment when I ordered. Eighty days before they delivered it, and they. never addressed the eighty day delay or the fact that their representatives did virtually nothing after I contacted them.

I ordered an item over a month ago, got a shipment confirmation with tracking. For almost two weeks, the tracking never updated from “label created”. I co reacted customer service asking for my money back because I do t have time to wait around for this item I would just shop elsewhere. They I dusted they put a trace on the package and if not found, will send me a new one. We’ll, almost a week later they ship out a replacement because they couldn’t find the first one. Guess what? Almost a week later and it’s still not updating from “label created”! Avoid this place. They are clearly not even shipping the item. UPS didn’t lose the same item twice in a row. Scam.

I returned 2 items to overstock worth $40 only to find out they charged me $35 to send them back in "return labels". Nowhere was this noted and the rep said there was a computer glitch as to why I didn't find out. What kind of madness just awful...STICK WITH AMAZON

I ordered a rag rug from Overstock. The rug they sent looked nothing like picture. Overstock insisted I send the rug back at my own expense, $32. The rug cost $32.18. They wanted me to join their membership program for $20 a year in order to send it back for free. Very unfair return policy.

I saw a commercial for Overstock and am surprised they are still somehow in business. My perspective is as a seller. I tried selling through them many years ago. They are a total RIPOFF. Seller fees were charged to my account and I couldn't even use the account to sell. They REFUSED to refund my money. Just an all around TERRIBLE company to deal with. After reading other reviews, it seems their consumers hate them just as much as their sellers. Avoid this ridiculous company.

Buyer beware! I bought a small, very colorful rug. Despite airing it out, even outside, it smelled like a wet dog or goat throughout my house for days. The colors were garish and clashed with each other. The overall quality was poor. The rug cost me $29.36 including taxes and shipping and they wanted to charge me $23.85 for the shipping label to send it back. What is going on here? They want me to spend $29.36 and then another $23.85 so I can send it back to them? Is the rug only worth $5.50 to begin with and everything else with shipping? At best I would lose $23.85 on an item that only cost me less than $30 or maybe I’ll lose $52 on an item that was supposed to cost less than $30 if as some people have noted, they claim they never got it back, or it wasn’t on time or whatever. From my past experience this used to be a good company, but now it seems more like a scam. They also note about their reviews on site that you must agree that they can delete any they feel like deleting, so negative reviews probably don’t show up much on their actual site.

They took my order and my membership fees knowing that they couldn't provide the item in the agreed delivery period. I had scheduled a plumber for the install on a specific day. A day before the delivery date they called to inform me that they didn't have the item. Obviously their name is misleading.

Sent wrong item now inconvenienced having to go out to UPS store to send back. Was supposed to receive 2 - 16X16 pillows but received 2 - 12x12 pillows instead. Not sending until I receive correct items. Was told by customer service that this type of mistake very rarely happens but after reading reviews found out it happens a lot. Will not purchase from them again.

I am usually very easy to please, but this company’s service and return policy is the worst I have ever experienced. I ordered an outdoor dining set and three of the four boxes arrived. I opened the boxes and put together what I could with the parts available (2 chairs and 2 stools) and disposed of two of the boxes. After waiting a few days, the fourth box never arrived so I called to find out the status. It took them two weeks to figure out the fourth box had never been shipped and that the product was out of stock so they weren’t able to fulfill the order. They gave me two choices 1) I could try and find the missing pieces at a hardware store and they would arrange some compensation or 2) I had to go to a hardware store and attempt to find boxes all the pieces would fit into, take apart the furniture I had spent two hours putting together, pack everything and they would have it picked up. Option 1 was not an option as they were wicker pieces of the chairs and table that aren’t available in any store. Although they said they would reimburse the cost of the boxes, option 2 puts hours of legwork on the customer, for their mistake, which is unacceptable. When they informed me of my choices, I asked to speak to supervisor who was supposed to call me back by the end of the day (she never did). I am still fighting to get this resolved without having to spend hours of my time fixing their mistake I order to get my money back, or even a replacement product. In the mean time, I have one box and furniture parts sitting in my living room. I asked them to send me boxes so I could return everything and they said they couldn’t arrange to send boxes, then they went on to tell me they could only accept the furniture return if I disassemble it. Unbelievable!!!!

I purchased a bed (order #334221127) and one of the boxes had a broken part. I contacted Overstock and I got a replacement days later. When I opened the other box to assemble everything, I noticed some parts were missing. I contacted them again so they could send me the missing parts and I didn't have to return everything. Bottom line, It's been 20 days with no solution and they wanted to send me a whole new bed and force me to return the one that I already have assembled. Seriously, terrible customer service.

Do not buy from here! Worst experience ever. We ordered a table and it came in damaged then they can't replace it cuz it's out of stock. My first time buying furniture online and my last. Worst customer service !!! They gave me the the run around for a week before it got solved. Actually the final solution sucks was not happy at all. Be aware!

The packaging box looked like someone bled over it. It was obvious this was not the original box and one that had been returned and then reshipped with the company just "reshipping" versus verifying the return contents. Not necessarily in any particular order, but here are the problems: 1. Again, the box was disgusting. 2. This was a lamp with a glass globe; it was chipped. 3. Two specialty light bulbs were to be included; there were NONE. 4. One of the lamp sides clapped with a bolt was stripped. 5. No packaging/instruction information and finally 6. I got this package with a 15 cent looking white glove in a baggie! Was I suppose to put the glove on before touching the merchandise to avoid germs or COVID or something? Hope to get my refund and get it fast. I've order from Overstock before, but now never again -- seems they've gone downhill.
