“I recently purchased my first pair of chinos after reading some positive reviews. I have never owned a pair of pants that wrinkled as badly as these. They are nearly impossible to press or hold a press. They look as if I slept in them. Extremely disappointep.”

“I have been ordering from Peter Christian for quite a number of years and I have never had any problems what so ever. This includes returns, ordering or any other problems that I may have had. “The men’s cotton & silk chinos were delivered today and looked as if they had come out of the linen basket!! So badly creased and even after ironing, it was impossible to remove all the creases. This is no way to sell or deliver gentlemen’s garments. Very disappointing.”

“Totally disinterested. I have copied a review from a year ago, which sums up their attitude perfectly: "The worst customer service I have ever experienced. These people are dishonest. Don’t try and return goods, they will find ever possible way of wriggling out of their commitment. Called customer services and they were extremely rude and unhelpful. Don’t waste your money, there are plenty of other good online suppliers".”

“I have sent you many emails re some faulty trousers and have never had any response except an automatic reply. I am amazed and appalled at your attitude to your customers. Product is nearly always good until you have a problem. NOT HAPPY!!!!!”

“Not a good value for money at all! My First order stockings for gents ref no : 521084 was very loose & was not able to hold up on my foot & was dropping. Very disappointed & will never order again !!”

“I’ve bought my husband’s trousers from Peter Christian on different occasions; two pairs of corduroy and two pairs of chinos. Each order arrived within a day or two with return labels included for free returns. The quality of the trousers is superb, as described and my husband finds the corduroy ones extremely comfortable to wear. They also wash well and remain true to size. I can’t comment on returns because we haven’t had to return anything. Regarding the price we are a low income family but would still rather pay a bit more for a superb quality garment that will last, and £50 seems an extremely reasonable price to pay for a pair of trousers of the quality of these. They have made a rather fussy customer and his wife very happy.”

“My experience with Peter Christian is entirely contrary to that of some of these reviews. I have dealt with this company for years and never experienced any thing but good, prompt service and courtesy. The quality of the goods has always been excellent and any request for exchange dealt with efficiently. They have become my first stop outfitter.”

“I am delighted with the product, a jacket, particularly the traditional fit. Quite difficult to obtain a traditionally fitting jacket these days unless you are a skeleton! I was equally delighted with their response when one of the cuff buttons came off almost straight away, hardly a disaster. They could not have been more helpful over the phone, more buttons appeared through the post immediately. I reckon one of the best measures of customer service is how they react when something goes wrong, even when it is trivial such as in this case, so they score highly in my book. Thank you.”

“Hmmm! Ordered jumper for husband in November 2018 but not in stock so got a similar one elsewhere. Received yesterday May 15 2019 (!) as back in stock. I was told to return it for a full refund. I see on despatch note that they don't hold our card details but they certainly had mine six months later, or else took my payment for an item not in stock six months ago. Won't be using them again.”

“Paid for next day delivery,no delivery.Goods supposedly despatched,Customer Service blaming Paypal for incomplete address even though postcode was correct and Paypal never failed in the past.Attitude unhelpful.”
