“Red Bubble is sending poor quality products to customers. Printed images are fading gradually after a couple of washes. Also, they never send the orders on time. Red Bubble gives you an estimated delivery date with lots of wiggle room when you purchase an item but still can’t deliver on time. They blame 3rd party printers for that. If you are an artist, you can’t trust Red Bubble bc it may hurt your reputation among your customers. I seriously can’t understand how they stayed in the business this long.”
“NO customer service whatsoever!! Paid for expedited delivery (which was more than the item even cost) as I needed it by a specific date. Never received! A recording when you call the "customer service" number that tells you someone will email in 2 to 3 days. Live chat is with a bot that is useless. Avoid this company unless you want terrible service and no recourse whatsoever. I can't believe they are still in business, but I guess there are enough new customers who get sucked in to keep it going. I think it's the worst online company I've ever dealt with!”
“Last week Redbubble had a 30% off sale I had more then 2 hours left to purchase some t shirts for my 2 sons serving in the military, I received these errors that I screenshot…….
I contacted them and sent the photos the response from RB was someone would get back to me it never happened I also never got a chance to return a t shirt that was the wrong size. I have been a big supporter of RB but after this episode I have decided to go with another company.”
“ordered 4 birthday cards. prompt delivery.
items not great quality, look like something i could have printed at home.
biggest problem is that the envelopes provided are too small for the cards and can't be used
now i have to buy envelopes separately
won't be using Redbubble again”
“AVOID this company!
Terrible quality in their merchandise, and to top it off, terrible customer service.
The printing was so bad I had never seen that kind of grainy and low-quality printing, even with my home printer. Unusable products. Went through the process of returning, but they were not helpful. Unbelievable how they tried to make money with such low quality products even they themselves won't use. Please avoid at all costs!!!”
“The material used in the their long sleeved shirts is so thin and stretchy they are like women's leggings. Last year the long sleeved shirts were much thicker and better quality. The long sleeved shirts I bought a year ago are in better condition than the new ones I bought a weeks ago. I even bought again from different sellers just to be sure but they are all printing on the same low grade material.”
“ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
1ST AND LAST TIME I WILL ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.
SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING MY THINGS WERE DELIVERED.. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING !!!!
PAID $$ AND GOT NOTHING. HORRIBLE. IF I COULD GIVE THEM A 0 I WOULD”
“We opened an account on RedBubble on 3 Mar 2023, set everything up, uploaded our logo, and started working on products to sell. I ordered a few different items as samples and waited for the review of the account to be complete so we could go live and start selling. On 10 Mar 2023, we received a generic message that our account had been suspended with ZERO information as the why. I submitted an appeal and requested additional information and only received confirmation that the account had been suspended - again with no reason being given. I submitted a request to have the account closed yesterday, 22 May 2023, and received word today that the account had been closed but they also said for us not to open another account, or it would be shut down immediately. STILL no reason being given for this poor treatment. I submitted a request for information to the email address the final notice had included and came here to provide feedback for other potential customers/artists to save them the time and aggravation in dealing with this company. Find a different company and dodge this place.”
“I bought five tee shirts.
Positives: nice graphics
Negatives: sizes run one to two sizes smaller than normal.
Quality of tee shirt material is exceedingly low; they wrinkle badly in the washer, drying doesn’t take the wrinkles out.
The neck bands stretched out of shape with the first washing.
First washing they look like heck and are only good for mowing the lawn.”
“Started a new shop a couple weeks ago with 30 listings. Shop still isnt active and I sent them now 4 tickets. The response is the same each time. Some stupid automated response telling me to add more than 5 listings. I will go elsewhere at the end of the week, if they dont give me a real response.”
“Like many others, account suspended with no specific explanation, and none of the list of possible reasons apply. Fortunately I didn't have too many listings on Redbubble, and I have no interest in jumping through their hoops to work with them again. Avoid.”
“Redbubble has sold my artwork for 2 years without compensating me. Then they closed my artist account without any explanation whatsoever or any payment. The consumers who purchased my artwork from Redbubble were notified that the artist had been "paid" yet I was not. I worked for thousands of hours on this artwork and the account. None of the artwork was flagged as unacceptable. I followed all the Redbubble rules This is devastating. Redbubble should restore my page and pay me as they promised the customers.”
“Data privacy violation and suspending accounts for no reason
My seller account was suspended for no reason whatsoever. There are some suspicious bots crawling the website and shut down accounts without any reasonable explanation.
On top of that, what they ask for submitting an appeal is illegal. Here are the requirements:
Please attach a photo of yourself with your face clearly visible holding a piece of paper with the following information:
Name
Redbubble Username
Today’s date
Photos with missing or incorrect information will not be considered.
Furthermore, they state: Our team isn’t able to respond to all appeals, nor are we obligated to disclose the nature of the account suspension.
Do not attempt to open another account. Usernames and email addresses found to be connected to a suspended account will be disabled.
According to International Data Protection Laws (GDPR) it is FORBIDDEN to keep data on file. Why would they need a photo, the store name and nothing else? Everyone communicates via email.
Anyway, along with account suspension goes away any royalties they have to pay sellers for their work. (Some suspended accounts had thousands of designs and years of work put in)
Try to avoid doing any sort of business with RedBubble: not worth the pain!”
