“Unfortunately the Sketcher’s in Throggs Neck doesn’t fulfill the sale prices when there’s a return. The manager doesn’t inform the customer that if there isn’t a size and an online order is requested, the customer is stuck with the original price for the second pair, even though it’s a second pair. The manager just argues with the customer. The manager was also the only person working, managing the register and looking up sizes. The attention at best was poor since she was talking to a friend and kept minimal communication with customers.”
“I contacted Customer Services after receiving a delivery- the automatic email response said that they would respond within 3 days. It is now well over a week and I have still received no response, despite two chase up emails being sent.”
“The heel, Ultra supportive the cloth, the worst quality I have not even had these shoes for a month and they are already ripped at $100 a piece I will not buy them again”
“I received a coupon for 20% off my first online order, I place the order and forgot to enter the coupon code. tried to cancel the order and could not. called the 800 number and it was answered by a recorded advertisement. chatted with a customer service rep and she said the code was invalid because the sandals I purchased were already on sale. the coupon did not state that. then she said there was very "small window" in which I could cancel my order and she was now unable to do so. I will be returning the sandals and never shop at Skechers again, if this is the type of company they are then I don't want to give them my business.”
“I haven't tried the shoe, but I probably won't now because of your, "stab in the face" advertising on YouTube. I'm tryin to learn something here and all of a sudden I get this commercial for these shoes in my face that I didn't ask for.”
“I bought a pair of Skechers and not even a month after I had them the soles were coming off when I try to take them back to the store the manager threatened me with violence and I can't get a hold of anybody at the corporate office”
“My 88 year old mother just went to your location to return the Step In sandal because it hurt the sides of her foot and was pushing her foot forward making it dangerous. The store manager told her that it was not returnable because she wore it. We have been purchasing Skecher products for years in this store. How was she to know that this particular style would cause harm? They are not inexpensive for someone on a senior's budget and I find this response unacceptable. Please advise.”
“Went to Skechers in Norwalk. Two workers at the register and I asked for slip ons. They said isle 3. After browsing I needed help. Workers still chatting away with radio so loud I couldn’t think. I had to holler to them I needed help. Pointed to the ones I wanted and size and where I could try them on. I’m disabled and had a hard time putting them on. I asked that maybe I needed to measure my foot. Attendant slid measuring tool over and walked away. Wow no help at all. I asked for a larger size and she wanted me to go look for another size I showed her my cane and told her it was hard on me to follow. I bought the one size they had an left. I went home and ordered on line and purchased two more pairs. I will never go to that store again. No help for disabled people. There just there to collect money. I myself would have fired them on the spot for not helping a customers. 🤬”
“I ordered a pair of size 10 Go Golf Elite slip on golf shoes on-line. It featured slip on entry, removable insert, twist fit dial for perfect fit. I am a size 10 for all my shoes, so I ordered a size 10 for $205. What a disappointment! I can't slip them on - I can barely get them on with a shoe horn, if I take out the insole. Their sizes are completely inaccurate. I had to remove the insole just to get them on with a shoe horn. And they are still too small!! They jam my toes and are the most uncomfortable golf shoes I have ever purchased. In fact the most uncomfortable shoes, period, I have ever purchased, period. What a scam. No slip in, wrong size, incredibly uncomfortable - jamming my toes and hurting them. I am hopeful that Skecher reads these reviews to know how they are screwing around with their purchasers, and do something about it. But I am not hopeful - a shoe company that sends slip in shoes that don't slip in, and don't even fit when the insole is removed should not be trusted. Their product is misrepresented. A total waste of money.”
“One of my shoes coming apart, go to store to replace, am told yes you bought the shoes here just not those ones we cannot help you WTF. Look at customer service sends me in reply”
“Absolutely incredibly poor customer service. Am on phone to them now for FOURTH time. They don't answer, don't respond to support tickets. I will never buy another Skechers shoe again.”
“These shoes are less than 5 months old. I am in my 50s, I work from home and seldom leave my home - this tear is clearly a flaw in the design, as my shoes are hardly worn. As I look at reviews now, this is quite common.
In reaching out to Skechers.com, where I ordered them from, I was told that I could send a claim for "defect" and IF they decided after receiving and inspecting the shoes, that they were defective, then they would replace them.
Waste of time and money. The shoes are convenient IF you want to replace them every few months. I'll just get different shoes!”
“Everything!
Sizes are wrong.
Delivery service poor.
Trying to return is impossible due to complete lack of customer service.
Beware, would certainly not recommend.”
“Sorry but I do love skechers but why did you get rid of the leather to that fabric on all of the sneakers; now its a nightmare to keep clean and to clean them. Its almost impossible to get all the dirt out whereas when you had the leather, it was so easy; yes it may be cheaper but you have lost my business as for me your quality is a nightmare now!”
