“I have bought over 8 pairs of shoes, and everytime that I buy sketchers I put my phone number in and everytime it's always "You don't have any points with us." I called customer service, they don't ask for any information from me, to try and help me. They're useless. I don't want any emails from you guys anymore, and I want you to close my account.”
“I loved my Skechers until I realized they were causing serious damage to my feet. I started researching the shoes and low and behold, I found out that Skechers is not recommended by Podiatrists due to the root cause of foot problems. I could barely stand up due to excruciating foot pain, so I tried Adidas, which is recommended by Podiatrists. Sure enough, the pain went away after wearing my new shoes for a short period of time. My advice, if you have Skechers, don't donate them to charity, throw them in the garbage to avoid giving someone else foot problems.”
“Skechers had been the only shoe I could wear for the past 7 years. I walk between 7-8 miles a night at my job, and they USED to be the only shoe I could wear that didn't feel like a baseball bat had been banging on my feet all night. I always keep a back up because unfortunately I wear them out in about 6 months. This past year since August, I had a new pair, and purchased my back up. My feet has gradually become more and more painful, and then I noticed a corn on the outer part of both feet mid sole. I ended up changing into my newest pair, and lo and behold, they are fitting me the same. I still older shoes that I've kept for doing yard work. I started studying the older shoes vs the newer one. The newer ones they have making this past year has a more rigid rubber sole around the side, causing my feet to be pressing on top of that rigid rubber side piece, which in turn has caused these painful sores. I am so disappointed in these shoes now. Should of never changed the mold, or materials. I have the older versions of proof that the material is different and less flexible. Sorry to say, I will not be ordering these again”
“The return policy at the store is absolutely ridiculous. Most credit card company's will give you a virtual card number when ordering online to protect from getting you actual card number stolen. You can not return an item to the store without the credit card used to make the purchase, but there is no such card because a virtual card was used. Get up to date with your return policy. You have lost a customer for life as this has happened more than once to me. I had the actual email in hand, was able to provide proof of identification, but still the best I could do was get a store credit. Im so mad at this point I will never shop at another Skecher site again.”
“Recently bought their so called performance sandal and ended up with abrasion and blisters on feet. When I wrote to them to demand refund, their reply was so unreasonable, it claimed it is common to have blisters/abrasion and even advised to use vasaline on affcted arreas.”
“I ordered boots back in October. Unfortunately they didn’t fit so I returned them for a refund. I had confirmation through Canada Post that the boots were delivered back to them on November 23/22. It is now December 31/22 and after 2 emails and 1 voicemail I have no heard one word from them. Very poor service”
“The authorities should check the safety of Skechers shoes. The Goodyear rubber sole that been promoted as slip resistant is very slippery when there is some amount of oil/ water on the floor. My husband bought a new pair and slip down on stairs which broken his tailbone. Never risk your life for this brand. Especially elderly. And please call back those unsafe shoes.”
“I bought a pair of slip resistant work shoes. When I received then I used a shoe stretcher on then for a day and then I wore them. The day I had them on I keeper slipping and sliding on the refeshly mopped floor. I sent them back and asked for a new pair not a refund but a new pair and they said that the show was worn and torn from time and not the new pair that I had just bought. They would not give me a new pair and they would not give me a refund. I had to ask for them to send the pair that I had sent them back to me. I was not going to let them keep my 100 dollers and the slip resistant shoes that you slid around in. I went and bought me a new pair of Fila pair.”

“Got a new pair of sketchers shoes the end of September 2022 by the first week of December one shoe head ripped on the side. I reached out to the Skechers, they asked me to take pictures of the shoe along with a receipt which I did. They replied it was normal wear, and they wouldn’t be replacing it. Only offering me a coupon for another pair.”
“I would wear RAGS on my feet before I would put on a pair of Skechers. Bought a pair of Delux Walkers and they totally broke down (pronated badly) after only 7 times on my feet (walking for a total of less than 12 miles). Worse yet, I sought help online, was sent to a retail store who did absolutely nothing but send me back online. I was asked to submit several photos, which I did, then was sent a "complimentary" FedEx label to send them in to be inspected. The label was never accessible. The product is HORRIBLE and the service is even WORSE. Don't waste your money on this junk! Buy a pair of real shoes.”
