“Sketcher slip on are a hazard. Unfortunately, my 85-year-old mother fell and tripped, stubbed her toe wearing your slip on. She broke her arm in two places and is currently waiting for surgery. I decided to research other reviews and there were dozens of similar complaints Regarding your slip on shoes. In fact, other people have fractured their bones. The shoes should be taken off the market.”
“My wife and I both purchased a pair of Skechers tennis shoes each. Not long after l started wearing them mine started breaking down in the arch support causing my feet to hurt. Then the soles started coming off of both hers and mine. We even sent one pair back to Skechers. After about a month with no response, I call the company and they said sorry that's just normal wear and tear. Well if that's normal for Skechers then we don't need any more Skechers tennis shoes. I have pictures but couldn't get the pictures to load up on the review”
“Wore for the first time yesterday. Ended up with water blisters on the tops of both feet. Tag on tongue of shoe is very abrasive. Can't remove it either.”
“I ordered 2 pair of slip in extra wide shoes and my feet wouldn't even fit in them. It was like I bought extra small besides extra wide. That's false advertising saying they are extra wide and can't even cram your feet in them and my feet aren't that wide.”
“I bought a pair of Skechers for pick up at the DFO Homebush Store. When I got there, they quickly located the order but they could not give them to me (even though they are paid for) due to their computer system is down. I have waited for more than half an hour and the system is still down I told them I can see why I can't pick up my shoes as they are paid for and they are there. I can pick up the receipt at a later date and they can process their computer when the system is up but they refused to let me take the shoes. I have wasted 2 hours of my time for nothing. Skechers does not offer a cancel order option on their website for any reason as well. As a result, I have to waste another 2 hours of my time to go to the store to pick up another day - I hope their computer is working this time!!”
“Brought my sketches around a year and a half ago very comfortable but deadly when it rains no grip sole has no tread , Showed the guy in the shop didn’t want to know , hence will never buy these again would end up with something broken 😡😡”
“I will never ever buy from this company. I bought a pair of shoes from Halifax shopping centre In Nova Scotia, Canada. I asked them about the return policy and they said within 14 days you will be able to return the shoes. After less than a week I went there to change the size of the shoe, and the manager rejected. We even didn't want to get refund. we just wanted the change of the size. That is an awful brand and company that does not care about customer.”
“I have bought sketchers for years, recently I bought 3 different pairs. The slip one gave me soars on my feet. I will never buy sketchers again . I also buy from qvc & Obama leaving a bad review there also. AWFUL”
“What went wrong was naively expecting that the quality of their product would not diminish in tact with their popularity. I have been buying Sketchers for many years and have noticed a marked decrease in the durabilty of their product (cheaper materials). I recently bought a pair of sandals that after 2 weeks looked like they had been used for MUCH longer than that. After sending Sketcher's a picture of them, they deemed the wear as 'normal'. (I am in my late 60's) And mentioning the environmental impact with regards to the changes, illicited no comment as to similar concerns. On to a better quality, and longer lasting product.”
“As soon as the newest model Go Walk Slip On came out, I bought two pairs in cute colors, because the "slip on" characteristic is really convenient. After a while I started to notice that I was tripping frequently on the street, but also inside the house, on totally smooth parquet floors. I knew that this was caused by the shoes, but I didn't expect that one day I would trip and fall face first while walking, resulting to painful injuries and bruises.
I then researched it online, and found out that not only many people are complaining about this, but also that a class action is on track to be launched in the States, by people who tripped and hurt themselves when wearing this exact model. It seems that this latest model has used a different type of sole (a composite of rubber and plastic) than previous ones, and it does cause tripping.”
“He comprado por mucho tiempo zapatos antiresbalantes para el trabajo. Al comienzo compre new balance, eran muy buenos pero mas costosos, decidi probar sketchers porque la marca son zapatos mas comodos y eran un poco mas economicos.
Ya llevo comprando 3 pares y me salen igual, las costumes se empiezan a descoser y la zuela aun esta en perfectas condiciones. Las costuras son de Mala calidad. No volvere a comprar sketchers. La garantia deberia cubrir este tipo de fallas”
“Bought the new slip in trainers , £70.. only had then for 4 months and the back of them has began to fall apart !
The quality with the sketchers brand appears to be going downhill”
“Sketchers absolutely stunk, I do not ever suffer from smelling feet but these were not breathable, customer service was so bad, lied constantly about trying to ring me , absolutely would never recommend, disgusting customer service”
