“Bought a perfect pair of shoes until I got them . Bought a 7 and too tight. Then I buy a different pair in 7 1/2. Those were too big! Now afraid to buy shoes online or not.”
“I bought 2 pairs of Sketchers in March 2023 and then started packing to move to another state. Between selling, moving and buying a new home in the new state they were a year old and still never worn. I took them to a store 13 months later with no box, no receipt other than the debit card transaction showing the purchase from Sketchers just to see if they might be able to do anything. I expected nothing but it didnt hurt to ask. Mysize also had changed and I was totally at fault for the whole scenario. The person answering the phone when I was trying to find their place was extremely rude but I did get there. I went in, the Asst Manager was at the counter and I explained the situation. She scanned them and gave me the scanned price and gave me a store credit for about $3.00 less than I had paid. That was fabulous and wasn't expected but she could see the shoes hadn't been worn and I did have verification I had purchased some shoes when I said I had. She then assisted me in finding what I was looking for as there was a buy one get one 50% off sale. I walked out with 2 new pair. They did not have to do anything and I was extremely pleased.
That said, I have one pair of Sketchers I have had for years so after reading the reviews I hope these hold up. [My husband had also bought 2 pair at the same time I had and they're still fine.]”
“These shoes seem comfortable till you take them off, then the pain begins. Not just in one spot either, and not just for me, my husband experienced the same issue.”
“This compnay is garbage they just rip you off then try and give you a discount for new shoes instead of replacing the garbage they sold bought my wife a pair of shoes for 80 dollars for work and they have ruined her feet anf she hasnt had them longer than 2 months do not purchase sketchers shoes at all”
“Brand new sneakers that I bought a while back so I would have them when my current pair ran out which I knew was coming up soon. Put them on today for the first time ready to go to the gym and as soon as I started walking in them the bottoms fell apart. I am trying to glue them together with shoe glue but they were like $100 shoes. Very unhappy . I have tried uploading photos multiple times but it says we could not upload one of your files please try again or contact support. I don't see support. I've tried multiple times and I had six different pictures and not one would upload”
“My physiotherapist advised me to buy these. How wrong he was. I bought bobs sport hands free and wish I hadn’t bothered. They nip my feet and are not suitable for women with even small bunions.”
“Great products, lousy retailer!
1. You can't check a local Skechers shop's stock online.
2. If your local shop has not got the product they won't order it for you.
3. You can't order a product to be picked up from the shop.
4. Ordering using 'normal' post means you will not get any tracking info, just '2-7 days delivery'.
5. No explanations (that I could find) of what all the different technologies mean and are supposed do.
6. You can register that you want to know when a currently out-of-stock size has come back into stock. I did that, it turned out the range was discontinued and they couldn't be bothered to send an email advising me of that.”
“New slip in shoes purchased in Lisbon while on holiday. I wore them in the rain the next day and slipped as the soles had no traction. 3 cracked ribs and about 6 weeks of pain, so far.
I live in Ireland but my formal complaint was handle by an automated email from the UK!
What has the UK got to do with EU citizens?”
“I have always liked Sketchers until my order arrived today. I ordered 2 pair of slip ins hands free. They arrived today, no shipping, but $115 each plus tax. Both pairs have tie laces. I called customer service, and she said you tie them once and they stay tied. The picture also showed no tie bow. Way too pricey for supposed slip ins. Joke!!”
“I bought a pair of slip on Skecher shoes and went for a short trial walk and came home with sore heels, one of them bleeding.
I am very disappointed because there is no chance of exchanging them, as I wanted, because I had actually worn them.
These shoes were obviously not fit for purpose.
Not for everyone.”
