“We purchased two items this season. Great Mittins I purchased for my GF. And she had purchased a pair of gloves for me earlier in the season. These however developed a hole in the ring finger for no apparent reason. The gloves and mittins appear to be well made so it’s a bit disappointing this one has an issue.”

“Sweater Chalet is a company that is great to do business with. My order was promptly and courteously filled. I unfortunately had to return the beautiful sweater due to a sizing problem and my payment was rapidly refunded in full. I definitely would purchase from this company again. Five Stars all the way!”

“I want you to know how much I have loved the mittens I purchased. I have absolutely delighted in them: their warmth, their beauty, and the fact that my husband did the research was able to find something that keeps my Reynaud's affected fingers from going white! They were a Christmas gift from him. I lost those mittens a few days ago - they seem to have disappeared into thin air, and I can't even tell you how sad that made me. I learned from their loss what it truly means for something to 'spark joy.' I'm letting myself feel sad, and hoping those mittens are now on the hands of someone who really needed them. I will wait 'til next fall to replace them. Thank you all so much for these beautiful products. I'm happy to write a review any time.”

“the Sweater Chalet "Love Your Sweater" guarantee is not a guarantee, it's just a return policy. if you don't "love" your woolen item, you *can* return it, but only if it's unworn and only 30 (or 15) days from the date of purchase. that's not a guarantee. if you're planning on spending the money, do so with some abandon. Sweater Chalet sells quality merchandise, but don't believe the "guarantee."”

“I have made a couple of orders from Sweater Chalet. All have been wool mittens for my friends and I. We are ultra runners and typically run on mountain trails. Our adventures take place all year long and during the winter, it can get very cold when you are out there for hours and hours. Many times in the rain, sleet and snow. Sweater Chalet's wool mittens keep our hands nice and warm. Never an issue with Sweater Chalet. I will order again and probably many times. Thank you, Rick Gray”

“Sweater Chalet has a great inventory of beautiful, comfortable and warm wool sweaters. When I received a gift of a sweater that needed exchanging for another size, I had my new sweater in a few days. I have enjoyed wearing it this winter and I know that I will have it for many winters to come!”

“Sweater Chalet has done everything that a retailer should. Kind, considerate, friendly communication. The Dachstein Woolwear that I purchased is expensive but the form and function is second to none. We have all made purchases that took a lot of thought prior to pulling the trigger on and afterwards wondered why you didn't do it earlier, this was one of those. Great stuff! They also have a unique way of saying thank you so all I can say is Thank You BC”

“When one purchases lifetime clothing, it is best to buy things made by people who care about what they are making, and even better to buy from people who care about what they sell. I have purchased Dale and Strathtay sweaters from the Sweater Chalet, and am impressed with their entire approach, from consultation on materials and fit through packaging and shipping.”

“I’ve been a Dachstein fan for almost forty years. It’s wonderful to have these products available in the USA. Wool never goes out of style and the Dachstein product wears like iron. Sometimes the most expensive product is the best value. When others have worn out the Dachstein keeps going.Thank you Sweater Chalet !”

“I ordered a pair of Merino wool mittens. They were delivered promptly and in good order. The product was well made and they have exceeded my expectations. My spouse has been eyeing my mittens. Fortunately he has larger hands, therefore he can’t purloin mine. He’ll have to order his own pair!”

“Super helpful and responsive with the initial order but also with an exchange for a different color and pattern. Sweater Chalet was impressively quick to offer to mend a hat that came unraveled at the top sewn portion (not the knit itself). They paid for shipping and I got the fixed hat back quickly. All items are very warm and durable!”

“Rick is fanststic to work with and boiled wool is superior warmth under extreme conditions than down or synthetics or cotton. I use it extensively all six months of winter/snowy weather and bikepacking year round. Love it!”
