I bought IFRS Standard from take alot according to their online advert they said it includes conceptual framework but on the real package is not included, I'm very disappointed

I've been using Takealot for sometime now and never acquired any problems until today. i ordered a screen protect, removed the one I had, only to find they sent a cracked screen protector. I cant use my phone without one, I had to put that cracked one but I am very disappointed.

My main complaint is with takealot or the company that sold me my tv. I bought it in November and only opened it in January. When I opened it I didn't know it came with component cables as it doesn't state that on the manual. I used it for three days and the tv started malfunctioning. I claimed it for return and takealot picked it up however due to the component cable adapter missing I was informed I couldn't get the refund until I replaced it. Which by itself is bad however it makes matter worse when takealot agent just gives me the samsung phone number (whom I didn't buy the product from) to find out which component cable adapter it comes from (by the way the take a lot gave me the wrong name of the missing part which they called was "slim gender cable") Samsung then told me they don't input cable models they sell with the tv and take a lot should open a box and see the cable with their other tv with the same model. I asked take alot for a picture and model number and they referred me to samsung again. Now I can't get a refund because I don't know which adapters I need to buy to replace the one I never received. Take a lot messaged me saying because I didn't report the missing pieces how within 7 days its invalid. If nothing on the manual states what it comes with and I didn't receive the pieces what am I suppose to replace it with if take a lot can't even help me to take a pic of the missing component im supposed to replace!!! To make matter even worse is that a samsung agent told me usually a direct samsung distributors won't try to help me because they don't like take a lot selling instead of samsung distributors!!!

I would like to take some time out to complement takealot for their outstanding service. Everything is so easy and convenient no troubles. Sure with the delivery their was some miscommunication but nothing really to complain about. Some of the bad reviews are just ridiculous on this page, delivery being an hour late I cant remember receiving a text with an exact time commitment always within a period of the day. If you not happy with the product you bought, you lazy, make sure you know what you buying. If it was damaged, they will replace it, only make sense.

Takealot is very misleading with products. I orders an iPad. The picture of the galaxy, was on the advert. I, being a first time on line buyer, was really fooled. Instead of an tablet, they sent me a link to a digital book, reading all about Galaxy phones. What a rip of. I have sent them several emails, which goes unnoticed. I think that even the customer care consultant, was very unhelpful and insisted I cannot get a refund I am hoping, since this was my 10 year old daughters 1 year savings, for her Xmas present, that these people, refund me!! Takeaway delivered my order to the incorrect address and let an unauthorised person sign for it. They have acknowledged this in writing but a week later no one can tell me where my parcel is. Customer service is very poor as no one communicates with you. I want a refund so I can repurchase my kids Christmas presents which Takealot has lost.

I placed an order on the 3rd of December, got the confirmation that the order will be delivered on the 6th. today is the 10th and i am still waiting. No communication was made to let me know that there is delay i am not a happy customer.

Same as the previous complaints posted. Delivery did not take place on the given date. Packaging was crumpled and I expected the worst for the 2.1 m Xmas tree. Well, the tree received lost all its ‘plastic’ bits on my kitchen floor. The height comes in at 1.9 m and not 2.1m as advertised. The middle section does not fit into the bottom section of the tree as the one slot is much bigger so the tree wobbles. The tree is held together by fishing gut. Shame on you Takealot for misadvertising. Can’t believe that you would dare to sell such junk. Wonder if Black Friday is a good way to to get rid of rubbish. This tree was marked down and I still paid a whopping R800.00. Such disappointment, I expected much better from you.😞

Take a lot is the worst service I have ever experienced, they advertise falsely to get customers and their trained customer service team, doesn't help at all either, they trained to say because u bought it we can't do anything, I would never advise anyone to buy from them and I will never buy again either!

Never again!!! You won't see my money again. Paid for a laptop. Unpacked it the one day. Screen started flashing bright lights continually. Went to my orders and clicked on "return". Parcel fetched. They don't want to refund me as it has a password on. They don't have anybody knowledgeable about IT who can override the password. Cryptic emails. Rude call centre. You can never speak to a manager. Everything is via email. I am livid. I paid R5000 and I have NOTHING to show for it. They still have the broken product and that is where we're at. Cryptic emails. No personal contact. No progress. I don't have the time to struggle with this day after day. I am so upset I ever trusted them. It's not worth the effort and anxiety.

I am a very unsatisfied customer. This is the first time I have used Take a lot services and my package was not delivered on time. My partner waited an extra hour at work in the storming rain after take a lot confirmed the package will be delivered on the day. Could not get through the unhelpful call center. No communication was made that my package will not be delivered. Take a lot could not even tell me where my package is, apparently it was going to be delivered the next day still waiting... Take a lot has done nothing in terms of how they inconvenienced a very frustrated and unsatisfied customer. Not happy with Take a lot at all. Would rather go into a store and enjoy my shopping experience. Very annoyed. Hopefully everything I ordered, is in order... fingers crossed as I spent a lot of money for such poor service.

my first time ordering from Takealot and i struggle already. dorectly after my parcel was delivered i phoned the call centre waiting 8 min to speak to someone. i asked if my order was split up. because only my TV was delivered and not my DSTV Decoder. the guy said no both should be together because they were ordered together. he then said he wil get back to me he will follow up on this issue. i then recieve a email were he said the order was handed over which means deilivered to me...... but yet i only still have the one item... i need this sorted out. because im fuming with anger. i spend R3600 and only to have one item and not both.

I ordered a card reader and we received a much cheaper plastic looking product and when I tried to fit my SD camera card it did not even fit although it is the right size the card just does not fit. Shocking.

Takealot is excellent when it comes to delivery, but their after sale service is poor. Emails fly left and right, but the matter does not get resolved. I even went to the trouble to phone them, but to no avail.

Since 09/10/2019 we have been sending e-mails back and forth to try and get this issue resolved as this is a costly birthday present which we can not just replace due to the amount..... They have now notified as that they will be collecting the EXTRA Mecer Xpress Smartlife 10.1" 3G + Wi-Fi Tablet - Black @ R1499-00 (I received x 2) but have yet to confirm the amount they will be crediting us with? There is a huge price difference between the Mecer Xpress Smartlife 10.1" 3G + Wi-Fi Tablet and the Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch with Touch Bar: 1.4GHz quad-core 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 256GB - Space Grey 2019 (Colour: Space Grey) @ R25,999 (NOT RECEIVED - NOW LISTED OUT OF STOCK) My account has been credited with the value of the extra MECER tablet to the value of R1499! We did not receive the Apple macbook to the value R25 999 which we paid for! My son's birthday was yesterday and they could just care less!!!

I bought fridge,tv,kettle,iron costing R10400 on 30th of September and promised to deliver on 2nd of October Today is 4th and i haven't anything They agents dont have answer and refund will take 3 to 7 working This is bad service at high grade
