Bad expierience, we waited long for our order to arrive and then when it did arrive, I was given one of the heavy parcels to carry up(never heard of having to help carry stuff up to the apartment.) The delivery guy could see I had keys and my phone in hand but he still gave it to me it resulted in my phone falling and breaking, a R20 000 phone that I have to fix all because he did not want to take another trip downstairs. So basically I helped them with their job and lost my phone as a result. Also the packages looked like it had been opened pria to delivery, the table was damaged when opened.

its a third time, I have ordered an item wait for 2 to 3 weeks then , boom your item has been cancel.. very disappointed I wish u had a competitor to buy from...

I don't understand why I have to wait for more than 10 days for my order with no explanation when Takealot orders take an average of 5-7 days. I am in Johannesburg not in Maputo. Now I don't have phone.

Order #102011864 Order was placed and paid for on 6 February 2022. Date for delivery 21 February 2022 but has since changed to 22 February 2022 which is totally ridiculous. The other problem we have is these rude delivery guys who thinks they are doing you a favor. Rudeness and arrogance is not acceptable.

I purchased a cordless drill worth R1139 ask for refund instead they want to credit and still emailing them till now for refund and phn them till now still no respond and I purchased a waterproof watch of R499 worked 3months and died out same thing till now I'm still emailing till now and phn them no respond so sad but they quick to email u back to rate their service, so sad

I was happy with Takealot but suddenly the period for delivery has increased from 5 - 7 days to 10 - 11 days? 2 of the items ordered is a birthday gift. If I knew I could have gone to a store to purchase. Not happy.

Extremely disappointed in Takealot. Deliver my parcel incomplete, tell me that its the suppliers fault. Clearly says part 1 of 2 but Takealot says its completed. Its my wife's birthday and they ruined it for me. None of the many call center agents could assist. You are just a number.

Upon visiting your return division of your company I was appalled to see that you do not adhere to social distancing practices. Has covid left the building or are your company just ignorant to the dangers of the spread of the virus?

Device purchased stopped working after only a handful of uses in less than 4 months. Contacted Takealot about return as they have a return policy on defective products up to 6 months. Received an initial response that they would "look into it" after which radio silence. Attempted to contact them several times over a few weeks, including opening another customer service ticket in an attempt to get a response - nothing. After looking online I have found a LOT of similar reviews where people have had trouble with defective items and being unable to return them/ignored by Takealot. Extremely poor customer service, will be looking elsewhere for purchases in the future.

I ordered a pair of earphones which were supposed to be here on the 23rd of dec. It is already the 27th and I cannot reach takealot via customer service and they are not answering the three tickets I have already submitted. On Friday the 24th I managed to call them and the agent assured me she would come back to me by the end of the business day. She never did. I think the customer service sucks. I paid for these earphones and its almost been three weeks and I have nothing!

Booked a return for the remote of my Xioami device. On the return request I stipulated that I cannot included the complete system as we cannot sit without TV and that I have replaced the broken remote with a usb keyboard. 11/12/21-21/12/21 they were in possession of the broken remote. Nothing was repaired and they refuse the test the broken item. This is not the 1st time I have problems with returns that is why I even included the batteries as they previously refused to replace a broken item, simply because the batteries weren't' included. One person attempted to investigate why it could not be tested / replaced and that took 2 days for him to get back with the same rhyme they all seem to use like parrots: Thank you for your response, Please allow us a moment, whilst we investigate the matter and request more information , As soon as we receive any feedback, we will notify you with an update. We do apologize for this inconvenience caused. Warm Regards, Chrisvin.B So my remote was sent back to me after I requested they return the broken item that they simply refused to test/repair or replace. That was on the 14th of December. I received the broken item back on 21/12/2021. So to date they send the same boring rhyme and I am just glad I didn't sit for 2 weeks without tv because this is the type of service they provide to replace/repair one of their faulty or broken items. So the answer to your rhyme is still: Yes because you are still refusing to test/repair/replace the broken item, you have definitely lost me and I am sure many other people as customers
