“I used the Rickmansworth store to buy a few things some of which I needed help/extra information with. Liam served me and couldn't of been more helpful. He explained fully what I needed to buy and how to use them. I will not go to a big superstore again where you can never find anyone to help and when you do they have absolutely no product knowledge!!!”

“Previously bought a round ceiling light for Utility area with the Box stating it needed a specific type buld (candle E14) I purchased this separately & exchanged the candle bulb temporarily placed in the light. Thought this seemed much bigger & fitting the glass case was tight but the light distribution was much better. To my dismay on turning on the next day I noted the glass had split in 3 places. Took it back to local store where situation explained. Could not have been any more helpful. Ina went to explain to Supervisor, Ben(who had already been listening in - so didn't need to repeat).Not only did they swop the product but they assisted by finding a 'smaller' candle bulb in their stock, placed this into the unit, tightened the screws & ensured there was no stress on the glass itself, making sure I too was happy, I purchased the bulb & left the store extrenmely satisfied with the outcome and pleasantness of the staff (not yet encountered a problem with any of the staff at Northwich on my frequent visits there)”

“Andther fruitful visit to Worcester Toolstation. This is one of the few places I actually enjoy buying stuff from. The staff are helpful, cheerful, knowledgeable and will advise you if you are unsure about a product. The range of products is great and the quality is 99.9% good. “On Friday 13th having drive. From Shepton mallet depot who were helpful but didn’t have the item in stock. I got to Bridgewater depot at 1715 to find the store closed. I went to the car park where there was two members of staff. I asked why the store was shut when it said 1900 and I had had order confirmation. It was explained to me that they weee very short staffed and for reasons to do with that they had shut early. I needed the item as I was leaving early in the morning for a caravan holiday. I asked if the manager was still around to which the man said he was the manager. He then kindly went in and got my electric hook up. So thank you PAUL, for your customer care even after a long day which obviously had been syressful and also thank you to the other lovely member of staff who’s name I didn’t get. You Rock Paul and our holiday has been great so far. Jane Higgs”

“Elgin branch. Served by Hugh who is a new member of the excellent staff. Knowledgeable, not intimidating to non trade customers. Excellent experience. He and his colleagues make buying light bulbs and tubes an absolute pleasure”
