“I bought what I thought it was a set of cold wedding bands only to discover that they were gold plated nowhere in the description doesn't say it is gold plated they brag about get the strength of cold. I feel very deceived I have to think twice now about using Montgomery Ward”

“I ordered a wingback chair it fall apart month's later coming apart from the arm leg on wingback chair it was Burgundy I called Aug 25,2024(&)again on Dec 20,2024 and we talked about my chair and I said what about what I paid into the chair already which was $50.00 on june 25,2024(&)on july 18,2024 $103.00 it was agreed that I would get the money back I paid into my chair back which was my payments of $50.00 because it fall apart she said 14 to 30 days well I called today 1/24/2025 this was a hot mess customer service I said ordered number 3or 4 times she act like she couldn't remember my order number now when She get on the her computer froze for a couple of minutes after i was placed on holded a few times I said what's the problem I gotta keep repeating my self with this number I'm very mad right about now because I been dealing with this since Aug 25,2024 I asked for refund slip to be mailed they said it was coming it never came called again finally I got the slip through the mail sept 9,2024 started my process with FedEx they came to pickup i needed a box I was tolded they would give us one not true FedEx they don't give boxes to nobody so now we got to find a box for this big chair we rode around and rode around to fine a box after weeks later I finally got one at a Big lots store had to go to the furniture dept now I got to buy tape and make arrangements with FedEx again for a pickup now it's 11/20/2024 I will never buy nothing from this company ever again bad customer service for one Montgomery wards they bring you through so many changes and I was lied to about my refund $153.00 I paided on that ragged chair that wasn't cheap to buy it was $385.88 total cost Big Disappointment”

“All their electronics from this company stop working Everytime I called in I received so many rules. 60 day policy for returns and they claim they couldn’t find my accounts after 3 years. What type of company is this! That’s why they lost their stores in person close the whole company down! It’s a shame they are getting over on people and they’re a bootleg company! Go out of business don’t order nothing from these people”

“Went to set up payments on line. The website asked me when I wanted to set them up. I said the 25th of each month. I then was double charged for 150. I have talked to them five times. I was told the money would be refunded. It has been 7 days. No money back yet. I will be sending everything back. They are crooked and dishonest. Do not do business with them.”

“I was going to place an order for a HP Laptop that cost $499. When I went to checkout the shipping and handling was $66. So I never checked out. I placed a call to 2 of the 3 numbers they had for customer service. She couldn't answer my question why shipping and handling cost so. She put me on hold and had to ask somebody. When she got back to me she said because Fed Ex charges that much. I told her I have ordered plenty of times and shipped Fex Ex and that didn't sound right. It's a scam.”

“I ordered a blow up snow man was told I was pre approved. I waited on my order never got it so I emailed them to see where my order was only to be told 2 weeks later it was canceled that they needed a down payment! Why wait 2 weeks after telling me I was approved I could have looked else where for the blow up if I had been told upfront.”

“Went to buy item n they said it was out of stock on 11/11/24. So I buy from another company same day. On 12 nov 24 they reopen order n say preparing for shipping. How? They were out the day be4!!! Plus I didn’t fin reorder it.”

“I ordered a jacket for my grd daughter birthday and it took damn near a month for me to get it ‘ on top of that, they forgot to put her name on jacket which I requested just because Montgomery Ward sent it to my old address that I lived 2 yrs ago . I talked to customer service last week and they were supposed to give me credit for my whole order but supervisor said they couldn’t do that she only gave me credit for shipping & handling Then the supervisor try to blame FedX for delivering to the wrong address ‘ This was frustrating and it don’t make no sense. They need to do their job right🥲🥲”

“Got a email from Montgomery rewards stating that I ordered a tablet, which I did not I live across the world from where the delivery address is to be shipped… I called customer service and got transferred so many time it’s pathetic not even the fraud department could help me, the lady sounded like she didn’t care.. bad service my problem still hasn’t been solved I asked to close my account but I have to wait on paperwork and see if it gets approved as per fraud Department, Very disappointed..”

“Montgomery Ward, #montgomeryward is also in the business of scamming. The merchandise was returned and they refused to fully refund my credit. Please do not do business with certain catalog companies: regardless of the credit amount. Because more than likely the products are used, refurbished, or damaged. Well, overall that has been our experience. How is it you still want to recover monies from customers after paid postage labels and returned freight? At this point keep the two payments. #FraudAlert #moneyorders. #receipts #photos. #videos. P.S. I should have checked the reviews the company rates extremely low...”

“I ordered a pair of Sketchers over a month ago. I sent full payment because I didn't want to fill out a for credit card. Just want my shoes. Can't call, all I get is a machine. Send my shoes! I assume you think I want a card? No I wanted the shoes so I don't have to travel for over 1 hour to shop anywhere other than Walmart. Please send the shoes I've paid for. Is this asking to much?”

“I will never purchase from Montgomery Ward again. I got your catalog and had to grab the catalog from my child when she asked me what the things were on the pages in the middle filled with sex toys. Give me a break! Is there no modesty or self respect left in the world. Gross! I will also be writing every brand that has items in your catalog to express that I will be boycotting all of them until they remove their items from MG.”

“I was helping my mom put together and item she had ordered and the product and packaging were absolutely covered in fiberglass shards and despite my best efforts i did not realize until my hands started hurting and itching and developing red bumps. been over a week and they're still in my hands”

“The customer service is very rude and inconsiderate. They act like they don't want to be at work. And then when you make your orders, it's either out of stock and they tell you when it's on the delivery,that you have to make another payment. I have never seen customer service so poorly!!!!!!”

“Ordered a $100 gift card to be sent to a friend for their birthday. I can’t get back into my account tried calling was put on perpetual hold gift card states nonexistent. I have no pending orders and yet was told four days ago that my order was acknowledged and placed very disappointed not only with Montgomery rewards, but their affiliates as well. Tried another company that’s affiliated with the same Company Montgomery rewards was told information back to check order was placed and yet now nonexistent what is going on? I had more than eight times the amount of credit available for the hundred dollar gift card that I was trying to send however it leaves me pondering whether or not I will continue being a customer. You can’t get what you order. What’s the point”

“I can not believe your catalog when I opened it last night and saw your display of "sex toys"!!! Do you not realize how many households have children in them? This is ridiculous I will not ever order anything from this company! I tried calling to talk to someone, but as we know, no one wants to hear a complaint! Facebook has already heard about it and I will continue to let the world know how sick and immoral money hungry this company has become.!! I would never have given you 1 star, but it's the only way I can leave this review and hopefully stop someone from ordering products or your catalog!”
