Preston Wilko is great, just been served at the cash till by Brenda . Nice experience as she is a happy, friendly person. I also got £2 off my favourite face cream.

I visit fareham branch of Wilco frequently..always find staff members very helpful and cheerful. Any queries I may ask regarding products are usually dealt with positively .karen is one member of staff in particular unfortunately many staff in store are lovely but I’m unable to name them. Recently I’ve seen some improvement in reducing queues by opening tills other than ‘card only’ when busy...which I’d found very frustrating as the only cash till was usually the one selling lottery causing a huge delay to normal flow of customers just wanting to pay and go. Thankyou to all the lovey staff at fareham.de

Wilko is very reliable and trustworthy. I left my shopping worth £250.00 in the Wilko , in Crawley. When I got home I did not know where I left my shopping than I relazed I popped into Wilko that day. The next day I went to Wilko to enquire , the Frist person I asked they handed me my bag I was so pleased and grateful. Wilko is amazing , Thank you wilko.

Generally only 1 till open now due to dreaded self service tills. So longer queueing or the annoyance of finding bar codes, reading instructions, packing finding your cards/money etc. I won't be shopping here anymore. Prefer a good customer service. Will go elsewhere.

I had a very pleasant surprise a couple of weeks ago in your Stamford store when the young woman serving me packed my bag. Unfortunately, today I was "served" by one of your old timers who was not going to pack my bag under any circumstances. She became angry with a plastic container because its barcode was out of her reach. She picked up the offending container with a loud sigh and slammed it down on the floor. After I had packed my bag I paid and held my hand out for the change. She ignored my open palm and put my change on the counter with a triumphant glare. Overall it was a highly entertaining performance but poor customer service.

This is a very good store, but to see only one young lady telling the STUPID few to put masks on was very brave of her and I told her so and I thanked her,she said like all the other staff we absolutely hate these people. Shame.

Today Wed 2nd June 2021.. We called back into Wilko store in Ely,Cambridgeshire when i decided to ask a member of staff about a problem we had two weeks earlier... By chance the person we asked was the person who fully accepted our complaint. We had previously bought a Big bag of bird peanuts which was reduced to £15 as bag had been opened so it was down from the original £18.. (bargain we thought), but got home to find most of the peanuts were mouldy and then had to throw them away.. as i did with the receipt!!.. Yet going back today and spur of the moment mentioning it "without anger" i may add but didn't want it to happen to another customer as the bag should not have been put bag onto the shelf, but disposed of.. This very kind member of staff named ALLEY knew exactly what we were talking about as she had accepted the return bag of nuts from the first customer who returned it and promptly gave us a new bag without a receipt but with just on our word.. I was amazed at the goodness of the store and of Alley for readily replacing this item and she was extremely helpful, apologetic, helpful and hope you give her the thanks she so deserves Wilko... Thanks Alley...You are an absolute star. Its no wonder Wilko makes you want to go back with service like this... Huge thumbs up.. :)

I can only echo what others are saying Wilko head office strategy is to punish those who use cash by making them line up in the naughhy queue.Remember Wilko H/O MOUCH of your trade comes from elderly and customers on a budget .The younger ones who shop online use cards

Shopping this morning at Wilko, Blackwood. As I entered the assistant at the door was chatting to a customer, totally oblivious of my entering, offered no advice re Corona Virus requirements. I picked up a few things I needed and went to pay. I was asked by another assistant if I was paying by cask or card. I was told to join the queue to pay with cash. There were 12 people waiting in the queue, with just 1 checkout for cash available,.Several check outs if using a card, all of which were empty. I asked a member of staff why there was only 1 cash checkout and I was told that they didn’t have the staff. This was on a Saturday morning, not mid week on a quiet day. They really need to up their game and think a little more shout the safety of their customers and the service they are providing.
