“Shopping this morning at Wilko, Blackwood. As I entered the assistant at the door was chatting to a customer, totally oblivious of my entering, offered no advice re Corona Virus requirements. I picked up a few things I needed and went to pay. I was asked by another assistant if I was paying by cask or card. I was told to join the queue to pay with cash. There were 12 people waiting in the queue, with just 1 checkout for cash available,.Several check outs if using a card, all of which were empty. I asked a member of staff why there was only 1 cash checkout and I was told that they didn’t have the staff. This was on a Saturday morning, not mid week on a quiet day. They really need to up their game and think a little more shout the safety of their customers and the service they are providing.”

“I suggest you send a 'mystery shopper' to the Telford Town Centre store. They demand you use the self service till if paying by card.Not acceptable. When assistance is requested, it is ignored. I would suggest you spend some of your profits on educating your staff about what the term 'customer care' actually means”

“Hi I wrote a review a few weeks ago regarding me having to use self serve. After you replied saying you would look into the fact that nobody would serve me. I went back Friday and asked a staff member if she would serve me she promptly opened a till and served me! She was very nice about it as well, thank you I'll resume shopping in your store.”

“About as helpful as chlamydia. Ordered a waterbutt, 10 day delivery time, nothing after 10 days, tracking information just random characters, rang customer service, item lost in transit. A 250 litre waterbutt, hard to lose, maybe? Wilko knew nothing about it, up to me to follow up. Asked for another one, okay, will be sent. Out of stock 2 days later, have a refund. What a waste of time....”

“I orderd some paint of wikos web site it should have been delivered today but wilkos have said its going to be tomorrow dhl will deliver it asked for me money back only to be told I can not have it back till I have returned the parcel back to them the only problem being I dont have the parcel yet to return to them please don't buy off this site as the courier thay use are rubbish”

“Their customer service in the Gateshead store is outstanding ! The store assistants were of a enormous help couldn't fault them in anyway ! Actually the best customer service I have come across compared to other supermarkets and department stores they scored very highly. Thanks girls for helping a shopper in distress.”

“9th Feb I made a £115 order. 10th Feb I was informed it had been dispatched and given a 6 day delivery window 12 hours a day. I waited in each of these days for the order to never come. I informed Wilkos of the matter and was informed, 2 days later, it would be investigated and id be contacted to discuss. I am then sent a short email with no apology nor explanation of a refund. I have to ask if my order is still coming. 2 days later, I am informed my order is not coming with no explanation. I explain I still want my order and do not want it cancelled. 3 days later I recieved an email explaining my order could not be located. No attempt to rectify the issue or make amends. 2 days later I am offered a measly free delivery as a gesture of good will but only as I have continously expressed my disappointment. However my order was £115 so qualified for free delivery so this does not help. I express my disappointment again and offered a £5 voucher. £5!. I express my disgust and how that does not make me want to reorder and offered a measly £10. 22 days of waiting for an order and making continous effort to communicate with an unprofessional customer service team to be offered £10 off. Not even 10% off my order which to be honest still wouldnt be enough for me want to re-spend £115 after the whole ordeal. Even independent resturants would waiver the cost of an item or bill for issues. And Wilkos a huge chain store think £5-10 is a good will gesture. Shocking.”

“I had a paint problem that was very upsetting & distressing for me. I was extremely grateful and very impressed with all the help I received from Annette from the Wigan store. This wonderful lady did an absolutely fantastic job of resolving my problem from start to finish, making sure I was happy with the end result. May I say that Annette has helped me regarding various issues quite a few times during visits to Wilkos. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her and she has an extremely wonderful way of making you feel comfortable & at ease with her from the outset ... "People Skills" at it's best! She's a diamond & a definite asset to your company. I'd like to thank this lady very much for all her help ... Thank you Annette x”

“Wilko is an amazing place to shop because it's easy and cheap, but still great quality stuff! I always buy my stationary from Wilko and it's EXTREMELY cheap! For example I got a pack of 10 black ballpoints for just 50p!! Highly recommend Wilko if you want to save money on your next stationary shop!”

“Popped into the Brownhills store today. I have to praise the girls there today, they worked well, and got the ques down quickly whilst maintained social distancing. The lady on the till was very approachable and chatty. Makes a change to shop where staff are happy.”

“Wow! What exceptional customer service I received from Tina in the Telford Wilkinson’s store. I was very indecisive on which pillows to choose for my bedroom so I kindly asked Tina as she was passing me if she could help me decide. She didn’t just give me a yes or no answer but was browsing around store choosing pillows I would not have otherwise chose. Until I finally walked away with two pink pillows and two, grey, crushed velvet pillows. The long pillows at the front was purchased from another store but I thought I would attach a photo to show how lovely it looks together Thank you Tina! 😊”

“Allestree wilkos is very well recommended!!! With the times of the pandemic they still stand and deliver great service with help advice and anything you may need. I was in the store today when there was a few people being extremely rude to staff. Personally I don't feel like the staff get enough credit and I doubt there getting there support they need. They are working in a pandemic for people to buy essentials which I can honestly say during my visit looking around no other customers buying actual essentials. Customers actually being so rude and abruptly with staff! People need to realise we're all in this pandemic together and there risking there self's an family's to help these horrible people!!! Love the wilkos Allestree I only go to this one. Staff are amazing, helpful, polite, and just a all round friendly store! Thank you wilkos Allestree for all your doings even with the pandemic.stay safe”
