I wouldn't use them again ! Happy with products but it was a shambles getting them ! Main concern is you cant speak to anyone , only via online chat , & takes an average of 2 hours to get a response! The couriers are OK, updates about delivery etc , & it's not their fault that wrong items are sent! But I never expected that ordering 2 items was going to be such a mission. It's a shame this lets them down as the products I'm really happy with . I ordered directly from website but provably should have done it via range in the shop as at least you have the back up of going in there when it goes wrong & getting the issues rectified . It was a stressful week , has put me off & wouldn't recommend.

Bought a polycarbonate greenhouse and while fairly happy with the end result, the communication was awful. A courier service which i've never heard of with no website or business address came a day before delivery date and left a card saying it had been returned to depot. The contact number they left was a personal mobile which went straight to voicemail. No customer helpline at wilco and the only communication is by text or email which can take 2 days to get a reply. The product finally arrived at the last minute 2 weeks after the original delivery date and the guttering for the sides of the greenhouse which stop the glazing from slipping out didn't fit. I ended up having to use cable ties instead. I would have returned it and asked for a refund but if their returns service is anything like their delivery i'll give it a miss.

I shop weekly at your ipswich store, always something I need and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately for the last few weeks the shelves have been nearly empty and they never have the products I need. Never had this problem in your stores before.

I went today to Wilson Market Drayton and was so disappointed. The stocks were very low. The screw stock was so limited there were three of us looking for the right screw and left . I wanted T Cut for the car again no stock gave up and left disheartened. Nothing like it was its going down the nick.

Gordon Brittas alive & well working in Exeter All shop floor staff great as usual However manager seems to struggle with communicating with customers . Anticipation of collecting a heavy purchase asked if someone might help me he said “ I will not allow any of my staff to step foot outside the store” I asked where i could park nearby & was told “ where there’s a space “ I’m not sure if this was intended to be humorous

Rubbish System, great staff. I recently did a ‘click and collect’ order for a couple of batteries from our local Wilko store. The on screen message gave me an order number and told me they would be available to collect from 14:50, that’s about two hours from when I ordered them. I turned up at the store about half an hour early, but asked for my order anyway. I was asked for my ready to collect e-mail, to which I replied I have not had any e-mails from Wilko so the staff member said they would sort it. However when they looked no order had been generated at the store, so I asked to see the manager. I pointed out to her that ‘click and collect’ it supposed to save time, and as website shows a stock of 8 (they are very large batteries) I could have picked them up myself and paid for them by now. She didn’t disagree with me and said she would have to call customer services, which took time to get an answer – apparently it’s not just the poor customer who is left hanging on the phone by customer services. Anyway the manager gave customer services a bit of a hard time and pointed out to them that the order is supposed to be with the store within 30 mins of ordering to give them 90 mins to pick the item. She pressed customer services for the information so she could issue the items, which is what happened. After I got home I got an e-mail confirming the order at 16:12, I still haven’t had a ready to collect e-mail yet. I was impressed with the staff in Farnborough, but the ‘click and collect’ system is awful. Let’s compare it to Screwfix. When I place a ‘click and collect’ order with them I get a ready to collect e-mail in about 5 to 10 mins. I won’t be using Wilko’s ‘click and collect’ again, and I recommend everyone give it a wide berth.

A recent store visit at my local branch. Awful customer service ( lack of) rude and inpatient staff member. This really has put me off a store that once enjoyed visiting.

Bird feeder payed £35 for a feeding station. Won’t stand up straight as the poles won’t go into the cross cross legs and so slants and falls over! Also the screws don’t turn properly to keep it sturdy !! Very disapointed oh and no water bowl!!!! For £35 absolute rip off !

I always shop in wilko, buy now nearly all the tills are now self serve and the only one till left to be served by a assistant who was really quite reluctant to serve me until I said I would just leave my shopping and go else where. There are some of us that still liked tto be served by a member of staff

Disappointed with goods out of stock after travelling a distance. Untidy shelves (customers leave stuff anywhere) but staff not keeping tabs on the situation. Perhaps they are overworked but I did experience them being helpful. Wanted paint brushes but they were just jumbled on the shelf and I could not determine the price. I used to love this store but it has seriously deteriorated.

Since you have changed to self service tills in Blackburn store, it is a very slow process. Staff telling you that unless you are paying in cash you have to use the self service tills. There use to be a que but it was a quick process with well trained staff. Ended up putting my items back.

My husband was needing the use of wilko toilet in Swansea. He is 78 and takes water tablets. Thought that was a bit jobs worth. Maybe that's the company policy but I think exceptions could be made for the elderly.

Visited local Burgess hill branch .Only one woman serving on till . Only two self service tills available to use , as other two out of order . This is rediculous , queues long ! I left my shopping on the side and walked out , as people were having problems with the other self service tills not working properly too . !! Empty shelves , no staff ..this need to change .

I can only echo what others are saying Wilko head office strategy is to punish those who use cash by making them line up in the naughhy queue.Remember Wilko H/O MOUCH of your trade comes from elderly and customers on a budget .The younger ones who shop online use cards

Checked on line for items, it stated instore only. Went to the store, advised by staff member the items (Wilko 8 pack 16 - 19mm Satin Silver Effect Curtain Pole Rings) are not sold separately. Get your act together wilko and update your website, its not rocket science.
