We are currently waiting for a gas delivery - we have 13% left and it’s a few days before Christmas. We emailed and called / waited 1hour 10 mins for a customer service person to answer . Told us nothing we didn’t already know and couldn’t give us a date . Told her we are expecting 8 house guests over Christmas- and the gas would be used more quickly due to demand. Emailed again sent another form for info - they are not accepting or answering anything. Very anxious about the whole situation. Wondering now if we should order from another company

I have 2 businesses a public house and a fish and chip shop been with them for years spent a load of money with them. Fish and chip shop on a top up system long story short there fault no gas and they admitted it but would not deliver that day or most of the next so stayed closed for 2 days submitted a polite claim but told to tell them how many people would pass through my shop in those 2 days obviously it’s not a precise answer so I estimated the same dates on the previous year. Told by someone who had no idea about customer service he then emailed case closed due to lack of evidence. Still chasing and very disappointed losing two days trade approximately £1000 and through their incompetence

Trying to get my fixed rate bill corrected as I have been charged on the new tariff price for the whole quarter. Customer service has no answer ,was cut off while speaking with a advisor still waiting for a response . Surely someone should have read the meter prior to the price change or contacted me for a reading? As per other reviews not the best response or company to deal with directly.

Avanti are an absolute joke of a company, if you are thinking of moving to them don’t do it. Their business is so poorly run, like others I ran out of gas in the middle of winter despite all the reassurances. Customer service is so poor and they haven’t got a clue what they’re doing- yet of course you are tied in for 2 years. I’ve recently moved to Calor and have had a decent start . Whilst moving, despite me confirming in writing I wanted no more deliveries from avanti - they conveniently tried to fill my tank , fortunately I was there when the lorry arrived to stop them. Still waiting for £1200 cash to be returned and today told it will take another 10-12 days- this was their response this morning. The refund amount is £1,220.17. And you are not able to have it now I’m afraid we have a process to follow and that is how long it takes. Kind regards, Whatever you do - don’t sign up to this incompetent business

Awful service premium priced product for essential use to fuel home cooking heating and water. Inconsistent deliveries total lottery whether you freeze or not as automatic forecasting is unreliable as is delivery schedule. Currently five days and counting - no one cares. Use electric no cost savings here and you will probally get left about four times a year for average five days with no fuel. No supper apology or compensation. They know if you’re rural no need to try as they got us over a barrell. Advise anyone considering this company or lpg to avoid.

Really terrible company.....twice we have requested delivery at 25% as per their guidelines and had to wait and wait for a delivery. We are just above 0 today over 4 weeks after requesting a delivery and seemingly ringing them achieves little other than a sorry - certainly no sign of any action to schedule a delivery, just 40 minutes on hold before speaking to an apologetic employee.

Ordered LPG on 22 January. Delivery scheduled for yesterday, 10 March. Still no delivery, no update. Have 40% tank break limit on contract and registered as priority customers. No customer service to speak of, no easy method of escalating complaints, consumption can't be updated on portal, turned gas and heating off. Disgusting lack of service.

I own a holiday let and waited for 2 months for a delivery of gas which never came. I ran out of gas when I had customers in my holiday bungalow. I have an obligation to supply my customers with heating and hot water just as Avanti gas have an obligation to supply me as thier customer with gas. I had to shut my business for a month and go over to oil, at a cost of almost £9000.00 to myself, not including loss of earnings from the closure of my business. Avanti Gas could not have cared less and havnt even bothered to get in touch with me. Just an absolute disgraceful company. Now, although I will be paying off this cost for the next 6 months, at least I can sleep at nights. The anxiety that this situation has caused me has been awful. Once my oil tank was in situ, the oil was delivered the NEXT day. Good riddance Avantu Gas.

Dreadful service. Ordered gas five weeks ago and still waiting delivery and will shortly run out. That doesn’t seem to concern them, absolutely disgraceful.

Dreadful customer service. Husband terminally ill and no central heating or hot water (zero gas). Suspect they want to shed the home LPG service or they are waiting for supply prices to drop so they make more profit. Will be looking elsewhere for LPG

Stay away. Read the reviews, I certainly wish I did. Absolute joke of a company with no customer support whatsoever. Happy to take your money but won't deliver gas in agreed timeline.

The company that knowingly and deliberately leaves its customers without gas. Background is that I placed na order in good time when my gauge read 25%. Case duo the order when my gauge read 10% to be told I wasn't a priority as deliveries are only being scheduled to customers who have 5% or less. Despite updating my gauge readings I am now without gas. Emails to customer services results in a threat that if a delivery is made and I am found to have a gas supply I will be charged £210 plus VAT. Now without hot water and heating in winter. Will not be renewing my contract with Avanti.

Ive been out of gas for 72 hours now. I'm medically vulnerable, despite being promised a delivery today, but no show. Several phonecalls waiting 30 minutes + each time! Last delivery was 6 weeks ago! Avoid at all costs!

Wish I had checked reviews for this company before trying to switch over, thank god it hasn't gone through I guess Started switch over a month ago, to which had to supply many photos, each time asking for more, which I did, then finally they went silent on me, chased up a couple of weeks later to find out about my switch to find out they had closed my transfer because i didn't supply a photo, a photo that they had not even asked for, no email to say they had closed the switch either absolute amateur's, my suspicion is that because the price of gas has gone up they actually just didn't want to honor it. id would advise avoiding this company at all costs

Tanker driver pulled out deliberately in front of our car, put his hazards on for no good reason and stuck his middle finger up - just about say’s it all really - he represents the face of this company!

Like all the previous reviews we are being treated horrendously by this Company. I have had LPG with Shell Gas then Avanti Gas for 33 years. This is the first time I have failed to have a December delivery. My portal is telling them the gauge is 0%, my delivery date supposed to be 15th December. They take my Direct debit every month, so where is my contracted monthly winter top up? I have emailed constantly, rang only to have the phone put down on me when I suggested the women use a pen and paper to record a call back request, as the IT system was down, conveniently, when I called at 17.00pm. Time to go home I assume. Shockingly disgraceful way to treat any customer let alone a 33 year long customer. We have no Gas for heating or hot water using a camping stove and electric heaters costing us more money. They are in breach of contract. Sadly we renewed our contract in August, for another 2 years, elsewise wr would seek a new supplier. Disgusted Cystomer

This is another "minus star" review to add to the growing collection!! Again our so called scheduled gas delivery has not happened. They know exactly how little gas we have but still no sign of a delivery. Their Scheduled plan is useless, nothing happens without constantly pestering them. They also have the nerve to threaten a £200 fine if the reading is higher than expected. I am astonished to see there are positive reviews on another review site, have they written them themselves? We are now in the process of changing suppliers. AVOID AVANTI!!!!!

Ordered gas 22/11/22 17 days later still no delivery date. Gas paid in advance. Freezing weather rural location . Snow due which means tanker won't be able to get to me! Child with severe health issues worried sick we will be left with no heating or hot water. Disgusted beyond belief to be told that if the tanker comes out as priority and I'm deemed to have 10% more gas than I stated that Avanti will fine me £200 I ordered in plenty of time paid Avanti don't deliver as stated then have the cheek to mention a fine!!! AVOID this company I am now going elsewhere. RUDE staff ,lie about delivery time schedules ,leave you high and dry take your money. Reporting to ombudsman
