“Really pleased with garden table initially but after only one weekend the wood is splitting and has deep cracks in it. Customer service do not view wood cracking and splitting after only two days use as a problem. I was intending to purchase benches too but now changed my mind . Disappointed with quality.”

Hi Wendy, We are so sorry to read that you feel this way, as mentioned in our communication we are happy to issue you with a full refund as we never want to leave a customer unhappy after a purchase with us. Regarding the splits in the table, wood is a natural material and naturally expands and contracts with changes in weather. This characteristic is common in all solid wooden products of this size. Rest assured, the structural integrity of our furniture remains unaffected, and any splits that occur will naturally shrink as the weather cools down. To address any potential sharp or splintered edges that may arise in extreme temperatures, we offer furniture care packs. These packs allow you to easily sand down any rough surfaces and ensure the furniture maintains its pristine condition. I hope this helps to explain. Kind regards Nicole

“The mantle I ordered unfortunately came damaged due to something happening in transit. I emailed Ben Simpson Furniture and a very helpful lady called Laura had another made for me and sent out within three days. The damaged mantle was collected the day after I contacted them. Unfortunately the new mantle also arrived damaged due to taking a knock, again presumably in transit. I emailed again and was given the option of a 50% discount or another mantle. Since the damage wasn’t so noticeable as before I opted for the refund. I’m happy with the quality of the mantle but I’m very impressed with the level of customer service I received.”

“So pleased with this shelf, it's a really lovely piece of wood and fits perfectly. It was easy to choose and order online, and there was really good communication from ordering through to delivery. It arrived really well packaged, with very clear fitting instructions. Very good quality product, which has clearly been made with care. I would definitely order again.”

“Very good product, good quality, cannot fault. However Parcel Force are absolutely useless and let you down. It took 5 separate trips on consecutive days before Parcel Force were able to successfully make a delivery, three times they failed to locate the address (despite having previously delivered Ben Simpson parcel to the same address), no advance warning to ensure that someone was in to receive parcel for the 4th occasion. Tried to get parcel delivered to a different address but that didn't work.”
