When my original Kickstarter backpack wore out I was happy to buy another one but I'm stuck in a bit of a Goldilocks situation. The Pro is too big but the Slim Pro, a similar size to my original, is missing a crucial pocket, and significantly smaller in the main compartment (due to being "slim").

Not the worst, not the best. I was given an Amazon option, which just gathered my information from Amazon, it did not give me Prime shipping, no benefit there. With that option, I was not given the option of an expedited shipping, as I have read, that is an option with other shipping options. Day Owl used UPS, the absolute worst shipping service for customer service. UPS has no customer helpful customer serice. I could see my item was on the truck and to be delivered that day. UPS delayed delivery 2 or 3 days after it was put on the truck and it was out for delivery. They have no way to get a hold of them except the general 800 number where the reps can only tell you its out for delivery. And while the item showed up "within" acceptable delivery timeframes, it was not acceptable to me to be told it was out for deliver and then not delivered for days.Day Owl could care less about this.

However, I'm sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience with UPS carrier service. I certainly understand. Unfortunately, their delivery timelines and updates are out of our control. Love this company! Saw a review of a backpack which piqued my interest, and then learned about the company and its ethos. My son came home from school with a donated backpack (we live in Pittsburgh, where Day Owl is based), and I saw in person the high quality. I love that they're donating bags to the local schools. I'm super impressed with the backpack, and now my crossbody bag. Day Owl will be my first thought if I need a bag in the future.

This was the first bookbag that felt realistic to travel to and from work in. I fit my essentials (planner, pens, umbrella, wallet, laptop, and it feels so light and comfortable.

Luka, It's important for anybody reading this to see that you have been asking for your money back despite your bag being delivered and UPS documenting it's delivery. You've sent countless emails to our customer service person asking for a refund for bags that you very clearly received. While we'd love to give our bags for free, we just can't do it. Hi Marta, Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us. Your feedback is very important to us. Let me start by saying we totally get it!! We HATE clear plastic polybags, but we need a waterproof way to be able to get the product to our customers without it being destroyed during transportation. And the packaging industry isn't full enough of options yet. The balance we're striking is finding something durable enough to hold up to the mail but cheap enough to not have to raise the price for the customer.
