“What a waste of a company , got email to say my items would be delivered on a certain date waited in all day , nope nothing , phoned DPD was told it hadn’t gone through there system yet prob be delivered next day or day after , I told them I got email today it was going to be delivered on said date , she said no you get a text an hr before delivery to say it will be there , so I waited till next day , guess what at 12.30 I got an email to say wait fir it my item will be delivered between 10-11 to which this was at 12.30 , I rang dod was told it had been delivered, even tho I wasn’t there , got hone 30 mins later no sign of it , rang up explained all over again what had been said she said she will try sort it , I then got an email with a picture of a house to say it had been delivered to this house which is not mine house but house across the road , I then went to ask neighbour did it arrive there , nope not sign n nothing delivered as she had been there all day , got back into by email dpd was told mystery solved it had been left at house across the road , My own house , I emailed saying that was my house and it must certainly not there I then went to another neighbour to see if it had gone in there nope , there still saying it was delivered to my house or house across road they can’t decide which , at end of day I don’t have the item nor dues anyone I no either , terrible terrible service , I will have to get onto the company I ordered from as it was them thst picked this terrible postal company void this company hand delivery it yourself if you can”
“My parcel was handed to dpd, with tracking number i see dpd have my parcel and by statuss is at they head office. Today morning i check again - same statuss parcel no travelling to ireland. Later got message my delivery be coming today. I come home and was waiting. When the delivery time they gave me passed, after some time i go outside and see my parcel outside. They didn't ring doorbell or call me, they didn't leave at landing beside mail boxes how doing other delivery companies - they naturally left at street where no have cover from rain or where somebody other can take. Very poor tracking and delivery service”
“Absolutely discrace of a delivery company, my son was waiting for a delivery and got a text from the driver about a delivery time, no package arrived, I called customer service that evening, said they would contact me the following day, rang again the next day, got the same nonsense from them,a couple of hours later delivery driver rang and said he left the package on the window sill out the back, when I asked him who told him to do that if he did leave it there we didn't sign for it or receive it, he had no answer for me, he told me to let Harvey Norman deal with it, this happened in Athlone, a week and a half later Harvey Norman have cleaned up DPDs mess, thank you Harvey Norman, I would advise anybody to stay well clear of using DPD, they are a useless discrace of a company”
“Worst service and customer service centre don’t bother taking any action. The parcel was handled negligently , thrown at my door and damaged and customer service refused to take any responsibility. No action taken to date to my knowledge”
“If you don't have an Irish number, they won't deliver anything to you. The driver won't ring the door or call you on whatsapp or email you, he'll just leave.”
“I paid for express delivery. They collected from the supplier same day and sent me an email to state my delivery would be the next day. No delivery on the date specified, or the day after etc. After 5 days I call them they say oops, parcel is lost, can't help you, call the supplier.... When supplier called DPD they agreed to return the goods..... In 9 days!!! Thankfully the supplier was wonderful and agreed that I collect direct from them that same day... No mention of getting my money back from DPD though.... So DPD took my money and screwed it up with no refund. Disgusting!!!”
“Such a shame about Irish delivery companies. I would like to support more Irish business by buying here, but everytime I do the DPD drivers always let me down. Excuses of 'wrong address' 'wrong number'.....all of which are not true. And absolutely no customer service. An embarrassing company and such a shame that its often out only choice.”
“No attempt made to deliver. Excuse given that vendor gave wrong phone number but tracking data that told me package wasn't delivered had my full and correct phone number and address including Eircode. Not first time this has happened either.”

“I bought a sensor for my car from France, with 3-day delivery by DPD. The package was handed over to them nearly 3 weeks ago and every couple of days, there's a new scan from the same centre in Beaune, in France. Their French website chat is entirely in French, and their Irish website claimed that they couldn't see my package using the DPD tracking number, even though I could see it online while I was talking to them! Absolutely shambolic company with zero regard for their customers. At the time of writing this, my package is still languishing in the same sorting centre in France and I've had to buy a second part locally at twice the price. The shipper has refused to refund me since the package was handed over to the DPD in France, and DPD in Ireland can't trace my package. What a joke!”
“Like always the worst delivery company in Ireland, impossible to contact them even to change a phone number, they do not use the intercom so if you are stuck in a meeting you are screwed because your flatmate will never know, stupid and useless Bot, impossible to talk to an operator impossible to change any detail after rescheduling the delivery because the lazy driver could not phone the second phone number provided nor use the intercom. I'm avoiding all companies that are using DPD, Will I receive my parcel this time ? DePenDs...”
“Dynamic parcel distribution, what a joke, I ordered a projector from DID electrical which was left under a wheelybin in my front garden that wasn't there when I got home from work, the driver obviously knocked and got no answer because I was in work, left my brand new projector in the front garden, obviously signed the docket himself, drew a smiling face on it and that's what I got for my 260 euros, a docket with a smiley face, no projector ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS LEAVING ELECTRICAL ITEMS IN FRONT GARDENS IN FINGLAS, 🤬🤬🤬🤬”
“Our local driver Michael, who completed the killawalla/tourmackeady route is Co Mayo is an excellent employee of DPD. He delivers my parcels(which is a lot as we just had new baby) and he always delivers on time, is so friendly, helpful and I have grown to know how reliable he is.
