“The product was described as "easy to assemble". I found that not to be the case. However, I got there in the end. The packaging was damaged on arrival, with some of the panels scratched. I would suggest better packaging because the delivery drivers seem to just throw the product around, hence the damaged packaging.”
“I would highly recommend anyone to buy their fence panels from elbec. They were the cheapest I found them and really good quality. We opted for the feathered edge pressure treated panels and we have not been disappointed.”
“Good website, ordering process and delivery. But I wish I had spent a bit more money on higher quality fence panels, so maybe more product information would have helped me to make a better choice”
“It is exactly what I wanted, the size colour it also fits perfect in the side of the house, I had a builder to erect it he said it was not as straight forward as instructions said but he admitted the metal shed was of good quality.”
“I bought fence panels. The whole experience from buyin on line to delivery was easy and without snags. The fence panels arrived when expected. The delivery driver rang first thing to advise of expected time. The panels arrived undamaged and I was surprised to find that they were really great quality for the price I paid. I was expecting them to be a little more inferior due to the low price.”
“I bought a Mercia shiplap apex shed and the ordering process went smoothly. I am encouraged by the guarantee on the shed but not impressed by the quality of the timber and some of the wood is warped, although not too badly. My main complaint concerns the assembly instructions for the roof panels which could so easily be made foolproof but have resulted in my having to take them off and reposition them. The response from the "Customer Care" team was in effect that it was my fault as it was clear from the diagrams how they should be positioned. I would also add that the assembly instructions also recommend " that the building is sprayed with water during extended periods of warm sunshine and sheltered as much as possible during rain or snow". So it looks as if I will be spending most days in the future spraying water or holding a large umbrella over my shed to retain the guarantee!!”
“Loved the Wendy house the big disappointment was that there was a big gap around the door that would of let the rain in and damage the floor. I had to get a carpenter to add more wood to stop the rain getting in.”
“I ordered a 12GX10 Shire Dean Log Cabin(34mm logs). The delivery arrived exactly on the same date which I booked for. I was given 4 hours window slot the day before the delivery date. Delivery time was organized nicely. Shire had sent a text that driver would arrive within 60 minutes time. The delivery arrived on time. Driver Andrius really helped me to place it in the garden. I received all parts in their correct quantity, in fact I got some extras for all parts. It took 8 hours for two tradesman to install the cabin. It is built on a wooden deck which has got extra support underneath. I added a additional side window and toughened glasses for the cabin which makes the cabin more attractive.Treated the cabin with two coats of natural oil wood stain inside and outside. The log cabin has made my garden attractive, using as a recreation room for the family. Many thanks to Elbec.”
“Bought this shed 5 x 7 (1.44m x 2.07m) Forest Overlap Pressure Treated Apex Shed which arrived yesterday, exactly at time stated, great service. Only issue is the cheap quality of build – I realise it wasn’t the most expensive shed to be bought, but still – there are standards. Whoever put the panels together should check whether the nails they use actually go through the wood, I had to fix several panels before I even attempted to put the shed together. Floor panels were lose from the joints and the roof wood panels were warped. There’s a piece of wood that attaches to the door which I have had to sand down to prevent splinters just from picking it up. Great design, but as I said quality and workmanship is rubbish. regards steve”
