“For the price, including shipping, this was not value for money. I know goose is an expensive meat, but the breast I received was not much bigger than a chicken breast and was mostly fat. I will most definitely be a returning customer.”

We're so sorry to read your review. In terms of our delivery, we charge one flat rate fee for all our perishable items at £11.95. This charge is for as many items as you want. I can see that you only had one item in your order which does inflate the cost of the item. Typically most customers buy multiple products from us rather than single items. The goose breasts are all done by weight so you'll always get what you've paid for. Goose is typically fattier than chicken, however the breast shouldn't have been mostly fat. If you could send us a photograph to support@finefoodspecialist.co.uk for us to review then we can assess this.

“I have to admit I was disappointed with the products, but this was made up for by excellent customer service. Unfortunately 2 out of 5 boxes of edible flowers ordered for a wedding cake arrived in unusable condition: brown, wilted and crushed. However, when I sent pictures to customer service I immediately received an apology and a refund. Luckily the three good boxes of flowers were satisfactory and I was able to complete the wedding cakes, albeit with changes to the agreed designs and the bride and groom were happy with them. A shame but thanks to the positive customer service response, I would still order from here again.”

“All goods ordered were good quality and perfectly packed. You kindly took a telephone order after Lloyds Security blocked my online order---I don't have a mobile phone ! The lady who took the call was most helpful----some of your competitors could learn from you! A recent order to one of them for boned fresh jumbo Quail delivered frozen small birds with bone in!! I will stick with you in the future”

“The caviar was gorgeous, as always. The veal was extremely good. We had viener schnitzels one day, they were so big we had to have stroganof the next. I'm not complaining!!!!!”

“everything spot on as usual , great delivery and great phone team, my only gripe was the micro herbs with one pack having a lot of soil in so wasn’t that useable, hasn’t put me off using them for quality products”

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are constantly looking at options to reduce our delivery charges. Unfortunately due to the perishable nature of our products we need to go with certain carriers and we also need to use various packaging items to ensure deliveries are safely delivered in their expected condition.
