“I responded to contact that was made through the regular post, after receiving their illustrated brochure we then decided that a home visit to discuss the product would be advisable. Bearing in mind that our memory of the old storage heaters that used to decorate our homes was not too positive. After our home visit, which was very productive, we decided to go ahead with the installation of two heaters. The day arrived, and on time, two engineers brought our new storage heaters in, and within a very reasonable amount of time they fitted them, and it was time to go through the work they had done and then run through their operation, making sure we were happy with the fitting and answering our queries. After the engineers had left we both looked at the new heaters and had a real close look at them and were really impressed, all in all A FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE.”
“We have had these radiators for approximately 3/4 months. Not really able to judge them properly as we have not had any reason to benefit from the heat due to the warm weather. However we are very pleased with the design, think they look very good and would ( and in fact already have) recommend them to people. The actual fitting of them was brilliant and the three guys who did the work were very good indeed and left no mess whatsoever. Really pleased with them so far and when the cold weather comes we are sure they will serve the purpose admirably.”
“Yes these Fischer-Future Heat radiators are extremely efficient and very good, although I must admit I am not so keen on their price! Unfortunately for me also, was the fact that I was not told about the 2 year interest free terms when I placed my order. Had I known that I would almost certainly have ordered three heaters as opposed to the two which I did order. These two heaters have certainly cut my heating bills and are so much more efficient than the night storage heaters which I originally had. The Fischer heaters come on for seconds simply to maintain my set heat, as opposed to the old night storage heaters which were too hot in the mornings and then too cold late afternoon! “Having suffered with inefficient 26 year-old storage heaters we were sceptical about replacing them. However, from survey to installation this was an effortless process and the heaters are most efficient which is mainly due to the individual thermostats. Highly responsive to the change in temperature, these radiators seem to heat up as quickly as gas. We also have a log burner and when we light it the radiator just switches itself off. We wish we had changed the old ones sooner.”
“Originally had one Fischer heater installed in our lounge to replace the two night storage heaters. I must admit we were a bit dubious that one Fischer heater would be sufficient, but in does the job very well and is certainly more controllable. We did have some trouble with the connection. The fitter used crip connectors for the joining of two cables, which became disconnected. Fortunately I was able to make this safe by using a junction box. I contacted Fischer heating, who were very concerned that it was safe. Once assured it was, they then arranged for another fitter to call very quickly to rectify the situation. On the strength of how the first heater performed we decided to replace all our storage heaters and our panel heaters. We are very pleased with the result. The controlability, compared to the old storage heaters, is fantastic. Although we have not had a bill since converting all our heaters to Fischer we would recommend these heaters. With thanks to all the staff at Fischer for their excellent service: sales, installation and aftercare.”
“The sales engineer was not pushy. The installation team was courteous, tidy and patiently explained the workings. My only real complaint is the company's unwillingness even to give a rough idea of costs before visiting. I know of one neighbour who will not even consider Fischer for this reason.”
“This system replaced an old storage heater system, which was frustratingly difficult to control and sustain heat throughout the day. The new system is more controllable and maintains its heat right through the day and night with simple top ups. Heats the house at the right time of day, and can be switched on or increased at a moments notice - simple. Radiators are neat and modern and can be moved if necessary for decoration or to a new location - no pipes, just need a normal 13amp electrical point close by. All 6 new radiators fitted within one day and the old system decommissioned and taken away as well. Clean and tidy. Bit of decorating required where footprint on wall of new system was different from old removed system. Old economy 7 circuit/sockets converted to standard 13amp electrical sockets. Good job done all round.”
“I replaced an old storage heater with a much smaller Fischer heater. It is much more controllable and the room feels as comfortable as before but using less electricity. Installation was quick and efficient including the removal of the old heater. The cost is expensive but hopefully we should recover some of the cost by using less electricity over the years.”
