“Did not send on date I requested so components compromised. As well they substitute for lower quality product than you paid for without your permission. Supposedly in the fine print. But they do not at least check with you first. I ordered Heineken and got labatts blue. Was embarrassing.”

“Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered a basket that cost me $186 it included 2 bottles of liquor, cupcakes and a balloon. The basket was delivered 4 days late, the balloon was deflated, and the cupcakes completely smashed. I sent in a complaint and did not hear anything then when I followed up they told me it was outside the 5 day window of complaints even though the original email was sent in the day after receiving the basket. When I talked on the phone to a customer rep they said it was my fault for selecting the wrong shipping method. No where on the order page does it warn you that your package content will arrive destroyed if you don't pick one day shipping. This company is taking advantage of their customers. Absolutely DO NOT use this company for any basket. There is a reason they dont come up on google reviews.”

“I received a gift box for my birthday from my family. I was severely disappointed about the delivery of these items. The cupcakes were tossed around and basically squished, and the macarons in the box were squished. When contacting customer service they said they advise for items that are susceptible to damage to ship. My question is then why offer these items and I can accept a little damage but not this.

“DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I do NOT know how this company has a 91% rating (scam?) OR how it stays in business! I saw the rating before I ordered but SHOULD have read the reviews! EXTREMELY disappointing product that barely resembled what was on their site (the photo I've posted with the yellow tissue paper is what was delivered and the other is what's on their site!). I AGREE that their customer service is deplorable. I emailed and the response was something that was template at best/ but felt like a bot! “Whatever your issue is with the products that you paid but didn't get, they will never provide a solution or even accept their mistakes. Only will let you know you are not entitled to any refund.
This company has an option of customize the baskets but be aware they will do it for you... Changing as they consider without letting you know. Even when it can be understandable, they don't offer any kind of solution, even you are paying a great amount of money for a basket.
Customer service replied fast but wasn't useful at all.”
“I ordered a batch of brownies to be delivered to a friend for her birthday. The brownies were around $20. The delivery and taxes etc. were another $22. The delivery was not made because there was no buzzer given for the apartment address. I had tried to email Hazelton to give them the buzzer number but received no reply (apparently they didn’t receive it). I waited for a phone call assuming they would call asking for a buzzer number. They didn’t. I tracked the order and it said it failed (I was not sent any notification of this). I called to see if it could be resent. It was going to cost another $30 to do so. If I ask for a refund, I will only get $11 back. I am extremely annoyed to say the least.”

This is by far the worst store for gifts in existence, not only are the baskets and gifts over priced for what you get, receiving these gifts through their courier is a nightmare! I had to stay home 3 days to receive my Mother's Day gift, I was to receive it on Sunday, it came Wednesday late afternoon. Rude delivery guy and just a bad experience. Do not use this store, it's not worth the money you pay and the customer service is useless. The packages cannot be traced from either the shipper or courier company!!”

“I purchased a large strawberry cheesecake for my Mom for mother's day and it was substituted with a chocolate cake. My mom doesn't even like chocolate. I was very disappointed and contacted customer service which basically told me too bad . Our terms and agreements says we can substitute. I told them it would be helpful if they stayed that before checkout. Very bad customer service and would never buy again or recommend. You are better off looking for a bakery in the person area and order from them instead.”
“I received a gift basket ("Champagne and fruit") which was sent to me by a client. The basked had a cheap bottle of spumanti and two small oranges, two pears hard as a rock, several sour apples and two stone hard mangoes. Approximately 7$ total at the local grocery store. It was a disappointment to say the least. When I advised Hazelton's I received a "stock response"...not everyone's taste if food is the same etc. etc. They did not mention what happens when you break a tooth on the fruit.
I of course thanked the client, but feel that this should be known out there. Don't spend money like this, you probably do better to just order from Loblaws or Costco as at least they will back up their product.”
“Not only did they send the wrong product, I ordered lemon bars and got a big mess of we don’t even know what it was. but they told me that I was not entitled to a refund and they wouldn’t be sending any correct order out to my mother, who is 97 on Mother’s Day, and that substitutions were very common in this industry.
