“Well what can I say. Except quality quality quality. I have many item like two awnings. The shower tent. All there lights awning lights flashlights I also have the tall fan and clip fan. The bbq since it finally came to the states here. Also baffle maker oven and trivet. Watt meter for my solar panels and control hub along with the shunt and many other items all which are top quality even the projector and screen I’m sad to see the California store closing cause there was so much more I want but are sold out and I guess I’ll never get the induction stovetop since it never made it here. But alls I can say is you can’t go wrong with kickass products. And the people are the greatest when you deal with them. Wish they weren’t closing. Guess I’ll just have to search out the things that are sold out in another brand. Which really stinks cause I’ve really am dependent on this brand but I guess like they say all great things must come to an end. I just want to say thank you kickass for your great products.”

I recently purchased the Kickass "small" flashlight/powerbank combo to carry as part of my motorcycle kit, and having had some time to properly evaluate it I can honestly say I'm still looking for something suitable.
I'm not sure what sparked the genesis of this product, but IMHO it seems to be a hot mess of semi-useful features, randomly stuck on or otherwise poorly executed.
Aluminum end caps; attached to a plastic frame.
Flashlight end; fixed narrow beam and medium brightness.
Glass breaker; seems like a gimmick added to provide a small lanyard loop.
A piece of thread is provided as a lanyard for the charge port cap.
Unit is bulky (1.75" dia), no beltclip or formal molle/carabineer accommodation provided.
Magnets; they are stuck on and exposed.
SOS light; doubt it would be seen at any distance when deployed roadside at night. Seems like a party novelty.
Bug repellent light; why.
Further, there is no manual for the product, written or PDF. Just an infomercial type Youtube video that covers some of its features. None of the LED status indicators are covered, which come into play when charging and using the powerbank. Their Tech Support staff was not even sure of the latter and had not replied to an inquiry.
Last, the product is ultimately disposable. Despite it using an 18650 family lithium cell (serviceable in most products) it is sealed. The battery is not removable.
Having said all this I cannot give it more than 2 stars. Sorry.”
“I purchased the twelve volt, 22 amp charger and have put it to good use. The unit feels like it is well built and it has functioned flawlessly for me. It really kicks ass versus the 10 amp charger I was using previously.”
“Purchased a camp shower, 12volt. used it 4-5 times, did the job, then was stored in camping cupboard. taken out following summer and did not work. battery beeping and pump impeller seemed a little stiff. Called kickass and was told nothing can be done, out of warranty. Then recieved an email saying if battery is beeping then it needs to be replaced, can purchase on web site, which I did. After recieving it and charging, tried shower and it still does not work. Battery not beeping but impeller will not spin, impeller seems too stiff for a small motor in the pump. So now I gotta buy another pump, or, another unit? I guess this product is " use a coupe times and toss it." Really?? Thanks for the customer, and product support, .... let alone a quality product.”
