Prepaid talk, text, data - it doesn't work. First thing is to activate the card and you'll get a txt with your phone no. But that txt doesn't ever arrive. And in order to get help I have to enter my Lycamobile phone number! Vicious circle! And I have poured hours into figuring this out.

I should mentioned that plan prices are cheap and coverage is good enough for major cities. BUT. Support/Customer service is very bad. Messages stop randomly working? Yes. No network coverage outside of major cities? Sure. No resolution for your issue for weeks? No problem. Ignore emails for week? I got you. Conclusion: cheap and good if you only live in major city and don't travel at all. But if there any issue, you will stuck with it for ages. Worst customer service. I would recommend to avoid it.

AVOID AVOID AVOID - the emotional energy and TIME (I’m very busy) I have wasted by being with lyca has not been worth it. DON’T DO IT! Terrible customer service - often don’t know what they’re doing or can’t help you in a substantial way Terrible phone line - would wait for ages to get through only to be hung up on!!! Terrible website - tried to recharge with credit and it said it didn’t recognise my number as being lyca mobile even though I verified repeatedly that it was from lyca Unclear instructions- was expecting credit to be taken from the bank card I used to order my SIM card but all of a sudden that card wasn’t valid because it wasn’t based in France! So no phone calls, internet or messaging because they didn’t specify which card they needed! Why let me purchase something with you without clarifying that other purchases wouldn’t work? Issues with phone number - would text from my French number but the recipient with tell me it was received from a UK number. I called the customer line and the pathetic worker just kept saying, it’s not possible it’s not possible. Infuriating! Long to set up - even before all these issues the process to install and activate a sim is tedious. Should have been my first red flag! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE avoid this terrible network! Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy!

The worst mobile company on the planet. I wish there could be a possibility to give them a minus 5 stars Bought a £6 national plan with them, and taught is quite a good deal but there was an option to put some money in the account and get a promotional balance for that I put in £100 to get £25 promotional balance and that was my mistake with those scammers you won't see that money again .£6 national plan fail to renew because I cut the link between my bank and them thinking I got £125 in the account so they can use it against £6 charge but no it designed this way to still your money when I learn that they won't use the money on account to buy a plan I ask them to reverse my payment they said that they will but it will take up to 6 days. Ok I thought while was waiting for this money I was using mobile thinking I will not use it much but the system just wipe out my account in no more than 10 days AVOID AS PLAGUE IF YOU CAN

Sim card impossible to get out package, the Martin Lewis offer a joke,contact customer service you've no balance please top up..what happened to the offer of unlimited minutes for £4 0dds taking into account the offer..stay away from this outfit take money give you a sim then nout

Catalogue of errors indicating poor service from the start. Sim welcome pack didn't come with mobile number, and links in the welcome email didn't work. Transfer of mobile number form unclear, and calling to transfer mobile number was very difficult. Low price, low service quality.

The Customer Service Agent PJ understood all my issues perfectly and also addressed in a very satisfactory manner. She was knowledgeable. I would like to appreciate the conversation I had with her.

Where do I start. I can’t send it receive calls. I try to get them to tell me what the issue is so I can fix it because I think the issue is something with my credit card. They won’t fing tell me what the issue is because they can’t verify my information with a number that I was supposed to have saved from 6 years ago when I opened the account (dumbest decision ever). Then I say I want to close my plan. They say there is no way to do that. I’m like WTF. I am done.

I have been using Lycamobile Hello Swiss M for about 6months, which includes calls and roaming outside of Switzerland. From the very start, I have been having problems, I'll list them below. Since their customer service is completely useless and dont actually listen/read your problem, but just send standard emails/replies by phone, I have eventually decided to change provider. So for everybody reading this, I recommend DO NOT GET LYCAMOBILE! List of problems: - Activation --> Activation is extremely difficult; you cannot use the settings that they send to you via MMS because they are wrong, so after a few calls and emails with their client service, I finally got the correct settings and had to manually change the APN. This does not immediately result in a working simcard btw, since you will have to restart several times and then miraculously it worked at some point - Contacting customer service via phone: You can choose the language, I choose English and end up in a German menu which eventually allows me to talk to a German-speaking person who gets angry because I supposedly chose the wrong menu. She even hangs up on me, when I try to explain that their menu was faulty. I try again and the same problem occurs. Then I try the French option and again end up in the German menu with a German-speaking person. Out of frustration, I then try chat: no answer. I finally find a way to contact customer service via the website and receive an email 3days later to help. - First time crossing the border to the EU --> Simcard stopped working completely; could not receive nor start calls, internet was not working. Never received a message with the settings for Germany, even though I received a text message that I would. - Crossing border to second country: Same problem as in the first country, but since I had more time there I really tried to fix it. Despite wrong information from the service center, I eventually managed, by manually changing settings, restarting many times, changes settings again and so eventually I am not even sure why at some point it did work. - Back in Switzerland: Sim-card did not work; I had to go through the whole process of manually adjusting settings again and restarting the phone until at some point it worked. - Second time crossing the border: Sim-card again does not work at all. This time, restarting the phone 2 times was enough to make it work eventually and it worked for 3 months without problems (also when coming back to Switzerland) - Change phones: I got a new phone and added the simcard, since then I have been having problems constantly (2 months now). In Switzerland is it always roaming, while I am supposed to have unlimited internet here. I have contacted the customer service countless times (via phone, chat and email), but to date they still have not been able to fix the problem. They keep on trying to make me change my settings, but the settings are already correct and they dont seem to get that my phone is working, but is just not supposed to roaming in my home country. - Crossing the border with my new phone: Simcard stops working; I have to reboot and manually change settings (again I do not receive any message with settings that I can use) until I evcentually get internet to work. Phone calls dont work for the full week that I am abroad. - Crossing the border a month later with my new phone: Simcard stops working; I have to reboot and manually change settings (again I do not receive any message with settings that I can use) until I eventually get internet to work. After 30min, internet stops working again and I realise that it has been using my credit instead of the pack that I have for the internet. I contact customer service and as usual they dont understand the problem and cant do anything to help; they advise me to buy a new pack. - Buying the new pack to have a working simcard while abroad: I buy the new pack as the customer service told me and nothing changes. I pay 25chf for nothing; I again contact customer service and dont even get a reply this time (I tried via chat, which kept disconnecting, and via the website). Phone calls from my phone dont work for 5days and then miraculously work again. - Pack renewal while abroad: Since I had bought a new pack already (that did not work), I switched off automatic renewal. 1day after it was supposed to be renewed, it renewed anyway without me giving permission. Again I cant get a reply from customer service. As mentioned above, this was the limit for me. I am switching to a new provider and warn everybody NOT TO CHOOSE LYCAMOBILE!

Entzug der Registrierung, Guthaben Rückzahlung verweigert, keine deutsche Übersetzung der AGBs (Version Schweiz). Die Telefonnummer 077 999 555 6 wurde von Lyca Mobile ohne Ankündigung anfangs Juli 2021 dauerhaft gesperrt. Weshalb? Alle Anfragen bleiben erfolglos. Herr Ghorby, Lyca Hotline, sagt die Prepaidregistrierung PUK: 22324066 wurde endgültig gelöscht. Lyca Mobile USA liefert eine genaue Erklärung: Automatically deactivates SIM cards if not used to make a call or send a text for more than 60 days. Unfortunately, these SIM cards cannot be reactivated and the mobile number will be unavailable for any future use. I am so diappointed with lyca service. I bought a bundle, it was given wrongly, then contacted customer service, the lady on the phone offered a refund within an hour, then it never happened, I called a few times, customer service complained about me calling. Then lyca closed the request without refund after a few months. I complained, the customer service refused to help me. Never use lyca. So horrible

Thieves. Rude dishonest thieves. I have 450€ credit and unlimited call plan. They stopped my card by mistake. Now they say “you must get a duplicate card”. But all their shops refuse to provide or even sell one. The rudest, most unhelpful customer service in the world. DO NOT USE

WARNING: customer service is absolutely almost non existent. No phone no. Contact, only email or intermittent chat for technical support. I am visiting UK from Australia for 1 month. Tried to set up after paying online and getting uk Sim. Cannot complete the activation. Phoned support 2 days ago and technical problem had to be escalated. No one has contacted me yet. I will probably be leaving the country before it's sorted. Sent 5 messages on FB messenger today. To Lycamobile UK. No response all day. Just tried their chat, and was told by their rep, Jeanna that she was in Denmark and to try again after an hour. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE AND SUPPORT. I suggest using another SIM provider
